I had used Hootsuite for 3 years. Handled scaling pretty well for me, especially with multiple brands and accounts.
Gets easier to manage day to day

From our experience, aligning reporting across business units is significantly harder than managing budgets. Most platforms give you tools to set and monitor spend, but reporting breaks down when different teams define success differently. One team might focus on CTR, another on conversions, and another on pipeline impact. Even with a centralized platform, you still need internal alignment on metrics and reporting standards.

I've tried SOCi, and I think it is particularly strong for multi-location enterprises. If you’re managing campaigns across regions, franchises, or multiple brands, it helps maintain consistency while still allowing for some local customization. The value comes from centralized control combined with localized execution, which is a common enterprise requirement.

I’d look at this a bit differently. At the enterprise level, it’s less about “which platform is best” and more about which one aligns with how your org is structured (centralized vs. distributed, brand vs. regional ownership). I'd say Hootsuite is solid for multi-account control and governance. Semrush is useful for research and planning, but I don't think t’s not a primary tool for managing enterprise social media ad campaigns. Not aaware of their latest updates though
