the most helpful thing about robocorp is it allows ample customization of automation steps through python libraries thus the scope increases dramatically. The downsides about robocorp is it entirely depends on python coding if you want to develop automation for big/complex processes and provided course and training is useful only for small bots and using as self developed bots. less pieces to pick up and drop in place. As a developer, I like the mix of high-level programming (RPA Framework) and the possibility of writing custom python code.

The development tools are very comfortable to work with. Their vscode extensions for autocomplete and interactive console are well made, making the experience easy.

The control room (bot orchestrator) is in my opinion the most interesting part of their product.

I did not try the visual editor so far, but it looks good. I do prefer writing code.

It is a bit of an adjustment to use RPA Framework and its more verbose coding approach. Sometimes it seems a bit too verbose, and actual code would be clearer, in my opinion. It might be a developer bias, though.

The possibility of using a Producer-Consumer pattern on their orchestrator is a very nice feature, but I'm a bit concerned about data privacy and compliance for clients that need their data to stay local.
