The reason that I like task boards so much is that it allows our group to clearly assign owners to every single task (speaker management, dissemination) and view our progress in real time without requiring follow-up. I often utilize mind maps to organize and develop new Program and Workshop ideas by organizing objectives, resources and risks visually prior to establishing a rigid schedule. It is instinctive for the most part, and yet has some great videos and user support if needed. I love th emind mapping aspect of it and use that the most. Pretty much every day. The whiteboards are handy when working with people who appreciate that style. Switching between views is invaluable, as is the ability to export or present immediately. No waiting. There is a product at the end of a thought process ready to go to the next stage of development. And I can use Ayoa for that as well. **What do you dislike about AYOA?** The only thing that is a downside for me is that I have so many maps, and I forget to categorise them, so I have to go back to put them in folders so they are easily found. It is easy to forget the name I have given a map. Helps me think and engage as the tool is very user intensive. Tasks (wow!): Many software developers, Microsoft for one, have tried with tasks, but have failed. That are simlpy too mechanistic and prevent flow. Ayoa Tasks on the other hand give you a broad canvas to create, zoom in and out quickly and effortlessly. Gives me a huge sense of being in control and deeply connected with the software. **What do you dislike about AYOA?** I battle a little with MindBoards, but this is a new tool I have to get used to, but I see its potential **Recommendations to others considering AYOA:** There is no other software that is intuitive, graphical and so easy to use. Using mind maps as a problem solving tool to understand a problem and then track cause and effect, takes much of the anxiety away and focuses efforts. This becomes especially useful when projecting the Mind Map onto a screen or sharing your Mind Map live. When I dont use the Mind Map tool, and dive right into the problem takes me way longer to solve it. Tasks, Gannt charts is a tremendous help when implement projects. ### 21. Improve the colors and contrast of the Ayoa webpage, it looks very blurry; something like Evernote which is very visually appealing. **What problems is AYOA solving and how is that benefiting you?** The organization of tasks through Taskboard, however, the tutorial is not that good. I had to read something about Kanban Boards on the Kanbanize.com site to understand that tasks are cards that move from category to category, at that moment I decided to subscribe, partly due to the language barrier. ### 22. I use the planner as the single point when I am working to see all tasks that need to be done NOW, Next, or Soon - regardless of project, location, etc. Ayoa is a great tool to for those using a "Getting Things Done" - type methology. And yet, I have boards by project both personal and work, categorized and prioritized. The navigation is clean from one view to another, so you can see the big picture, and quickly dive into the specifics, and move from one project to another. **What do you dislike about AYOA?** I found Ayoa because of the mind-mapping capability. The mind-mapping is well done, but slow when compared to a package like XMind. I do like that the maps are so well integrated into the overall environment, abd that they are web-based. Ayoa has done a good job of allow the capture of tasks in many ways, while easily making them all come together in different ways. One other thing I would like to see is the ability to choose color schemes.
