What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

AWS SDK is well-documented and you have full access to everything in AWS. Anything you can do in the console can be automated via AWS Lambda. Importing external libraries/modules/packages is a hassle. Shouldn't be that hard for a way to upload external libraries directly to the AWS Lambda Cloud9 IDE. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

Easy to code//deploy and manage. Works with modern NodeJS versions. Easy to troubleshoot with cloudwatch logs. Also easy to use the AWS SDK to redirect traffic to other lambdas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

To use git directly I have to use other AWS tools that could cost money at scale. Sometimes adopting new Node versions is really behind, this might even result in duplicate code bases for new versions of plugins or Node features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
