When you have a lot of Lambda functions (over 500), managing them can get difficult. I've heard of cases where Lambda functions can accidentally become recursive. Lambda has revolutionized how we handle execution of on-demand lightweight workloads. While eliminating infrastructure for traditional applications migrated to serverless technologies is certainly a strong benefit of Lambda, one of our largest wins has been in eliminating the need for long-running infrastructurte for administrative and lightweight workloads. What I like best about AWS Lambda is what I just learned. Lambda is a powerful compute engine. It enables systems to be architected for variable cost, enabling a business to "cost-architect" a system. Variable cost compute is the future where you only pay for what you use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There isn't much to dislike. Supporting services are appearing (i.e. CloudZero, Epsagon, IO|pipe, etc.) and training programs for developers are growing and becoming more prevalent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
