What I like most about Amplify HR is their ability to provide organizations with access to highly specialized HR expertise, without the burden of having to maintain those roles in-house.

I can’t really think of any negatives. They’re a big company, but they still provide personable, tailored service.

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplify HR provides strong compliance support for our company, which is especially important as a multi-state employer. It helps us navigate differing state regulations, reduce risk, and stay aligned with constantly changing labor laws—without having to build that expertise in-house.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

I use Amplify HR for payroll processing and PEO services, and it has substantially shortened the amount of time needed to process our payroll. I really like the prompt customer service, which is very helpful. Another feature I appreciate is their payroll reports; they are concise and easy to use, saving me time when obtaining information I may need. Additionally, Amplify HR interfaces with our timekeeping system, which helps streamline our processes.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

I find the health insurance options for employees lacking because Amplify HR uses a third party ICHRA and it's cumbersome.

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Amplify HR substantially shortens payroll processing time. I appreciate its prompt customer service and concise, easy-to-use payroll reports, which save me time obtaining needed information.

I like that Amplify HR has a flexible solution for payroll, HR, and benefits that they can customize to meet client needs. I appreciate their dedicated and responsive team that is innovative with their solutions. They are typically very reasonably priced and easy to work with. I also like the vast benefit offerings, which range from traditional to non-conventional, giving clients a full scope of what’s available in the benefits market. The initial setup was extremely easy.

Their customer support. They are extremely quick to respond and you talk to a live person.

The platform could be improved on. For a lot of edits, changes, or pulling reports I usually need to reach out to their team for assistance. At the same time, someone always gets it done for me and quickly.

We switched to Amplify from another PEO because we needed access to more affordable healthcare for our team - we have a national team so it was important finding someone that could connect us to enough healthcare providers in each region.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Amplify has been a pleasure to work with from implementation and integration through everyday ongoing experiences. Every person has been knowledgeable and professional that I have interacted with in every department. It is never an easy process to move to a new PEO but this was a very smooth transition and I find the Amplify staff the best I have ever worked with. I always feel like I have a resource and all the support I would ever need. I do not feel there is anything more I need than all the services they offer me. The time and labor  dashboard is an easy tool that gives me full visibility into my employees time allocation, time card and so much more. Everything is right at my fingertips. There is never a day where I am not in the Amplify platform multiple times throughout the day. I highly recommend Amplify over any other PEO, in fact, I already have recommended them to a business advisor and he moved his entire company over after I could not stop raving!

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

There is not one thing that I dislike about Amplify. My experience has been amazing and I have dealt with many other very well known PEO's 
 during my professional life and in my opinion this is the best.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Whenever there has been a question, it appears as though someone from amplify gets back to us rather quickly. This helps us stay on track and doesn't leave loose ends unattended to.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

Overall I wish the user portal was more user friendly and easy to read info. For example, it is difficulty to read and interpret your PTO dashboard. Every time I got there I have to figure out what I'm looking, how it is displayed, etc. It doesn't always show your upcoming PTO requests when it should. I also wish there was less need to navigate between supervisors views and employee views.

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

solves all our HR needs and infrastructure, including but not limited to benefits, PTO banks and requests, Performance Reviews, Applying for internal job posting, paycheck/stubs, taxes info, retirement, etc.. We don't have this specialty or infrastructure internally as we are a small non-for-profit. It helps us get commentative benefits even though we are small as well

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Amplify HR empowers our organization to be efficient and have the latest HR updates at our finger tips. The system is extremely user friendly and can be easily customized to fit our needs. Entering time and reviewing policies is quick and easy. Our HR rep is knowledgeable and we are able to utilize them for any HR questions that may arise.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The only dislike I would list about Amplify HR is the calculation of our PTO balance. I find the main screen does not always match the timesheet screen. I also wish it could more accurately forecast PTO accounting for accruals and planned days off. But no other complaints!

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small non-profit organization so we really do not have the funds or resources to appropriately staff an HR department. Amplify helps us to fill in this gap. They assist us with our employee handbook, ensuring we are up-to-date on all policy and regulation updates. We have a dedicated rep to assist when HR questions, issues, etc.  come up. They also assist with payroll and submitting that on a bi-weekly basis. I have found them to be knowledgeable and easy to work with. Our previous PEO provider was not able to consistently support us in the way that we have received support from Amplify.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

What has impressed me the most is the long-term consistency of support from mostly the same key people over seven years.  Answers from their team come quickly.  And because we are still dealing with the same key members after 7 years, their solutions are reflective of my company's history with Amplify.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

As an owner, the online administrator experience could use a GUI upgrade.  Some of the reporting tools are hard to understand to gather the data I am looking for and the management of the PTO isn't quite clear, so I have to ask our customer representative for help.  Being a small company these aren't things i need on a regular basis, so perhaps using them more frequently would improve my understanding.

Amplify has made it possible for my small business to offer benefits you’d normally only see at bigger companies.  Things like affordable healthcare plans,  401(k), and anHR group. As an engineering firm that needs to hire top talent, having these types of benefits been a huge help in attracting applicants and keeping great people around, without the burden of admin work for me or hiring staff to do it.  Supplementing that arm of my company with Amplify allows me to focus on the business growth and engineering that I love to do.

It's easy to access my benefits, documents, and employment records, and have my questions answered quickly by someone in my time zone. The website is easy to navigate and find the records that I need. Amplify HR is quick to address my HR-related questions and website issues. Amplify HR has been very responsive when I've needed to extend my benefit enrollment deadline. I've found them to be a great partner for our business.

None that I've come across so far. I've been happy with all facets of Amplify HR to-date.

Amplify HR is solving the problem of spending time performing HR functions such as answering HR-related questions, tracking paychecks, tracking benefit enrollment, tracking PTO, and having compliant HR policies and documentation in-place.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

It allows our small company to have a full HR team easily. The website and app are very user friendly. I can add time off, download previous tax forms and paystubs, see and choose benefits easily all in one place. When I had an issue with medical insurance, I had our rep help with just one email.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

Learning where and how to request time off took some figuring out and having to remember, but it works well once you know.

Mostly, we don't have to hire a HR manager and their staff, and get insurance, and handle payroll.....
For me as a user, it nice to have it all in one place  and one representative.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

I use Amplify's web platform on a nearly daily basis. I like that I can see my history of pay, W2s, taxes, other deductions etc. The sign up process for healthcare elections is also rather simple and easy. I like the connection to my Slavic 401k account as well.

Chelsea McClellan and Makayla Genoe have been very responsive with questions/concerns.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The Time Entry Dashboard is rather confusing and cumbersome to navigate, and at times even redundant which leads to uncertainty on the user's end. The categories for "My Hours" is challenging to interpret. I also desire a more straightforward way to request time off. Also, I do not like that I am not able to view previously approved timecards.

Under Performance Management, in the performance appraisal section, Id like to see more of a sliding scale for supervisor/employee ratings of expectations. 

The Prism app is also tricky to navigate. I found I was not able to use the app because when trying to enter information in my timecard, various windows or dialogue boxes would overlap and prevent me from entering and saving data. 

In addition, when I went on short term disability, I found Unum to be profoundly challenging to navigate and connect with for my claims. I really struggled with receiving responses, response time in general, and accuracy of paperwork. It felt like an impossibility to actually communicate with them. I later found out they were contacting the wrong individuals at Amplify to verify my employment for at least 3 months, which is why they were not responsive to me. This was corrected, and then happened again about 3 months later. I am not sure if there is the possibility for a procedural change to ensure the right contacts are connected to an employee's case.

From my understanding, Amplify is providing support with timekeeping, payroll processing, overseeing supplemental benefits and employee appraisals.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Carrie Bower's competence, knowledge, and ability to get answers if she doesn't have them. Carrie always has my back, is quick to notice if something is unusal or amiss, and always strives to do what's best for our company.  And she's just a great person to work with.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

1) I can't perform the payroll process from my phone, and that is frustrating since I travel frequently.  There needs to be a mobile app. 2) Don't require a SSN before generating the onboarding email as it is unecessary at this point in the process.  That should be inputted by the employee during onboarding. It slows down the process sometimes by days. I complain about this every year. 3) I am frustrated with always having to input an access code when logging into the exact same computers for years. This should only happen on new devices. So maddening when you're in a hurry, whcih is all the time!

It provides payroll tools and support as well as good benefits for small companies.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Amplify is easy to navigate and updates in real time.  If I make changes to my direct deposit, or time off requests I can check to see that the information has been captured and reflected immediately.  End of year documents and pay stubs are very easy to download for quick review.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The only improvement I can suggest is a  way to input a standing lunch break for my daily shift in the time sheet section rather than needing to add it in each day's schedule.

Amplify manages all of my personal financial, time and personnel information and has it available for easy use and retrieval of records.

Time entry and requests for PTO are easy to complete.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The one drawback of the system is that it appears that there is currently an issue with the mobile website and app where when I go to the Time Entry section, it produces an error message instead of letting me enter my time. This has not always been the case and I am hoping this gets fixed in a later release.

It gives us a platform to enter time, review company policies, enroll in and view our benefits, and view documents pertaining to our employment. It’s currently doing all of those well.

It is easy to find pretty much anything that I need in one place.  As a manager, updating and approving timecards and PTO is quick and efficient. I like that our staff handbook and other important documents also live in an easy to access place.  I haven't needed to reach out directly often, but when I have replies have always been quick and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

Time off requests are much easier to enter from the timeclock app than from the online portal--I always seem to struggle locating the place to enter a new request.

It's ease of use. Prior to using Amplify at my current job, I had never used the software before but it was very easy to pick up and learn and walked you through every step of getting set up.

the screen doesn't adjust to my laptop so it's a lot of scrolling for clocking in and out

none directly for me right now. i'm new to the company. my own personal onboarding was really easy and my everyday use of the software continues to be easy to use however with just being a part time employee, I don't utilize a lot of the features.

I enjoy the smooth dashboard and being able to locate things easily. Nothing takes more than a couple clicks to get too and the support team is super helpful if you have questions.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

I think the only downside that I see is setting up your PTO. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the drop downs to enter it. After you do it once you should know where its at but sometimes difficult for new users.

I believe that they are very helpful with the plan that I am on. If I have any questions they always help!

Access to retirement and benefit information in one portal makes accessing information simple. Any time I have needed support related to my benefit information, my assigned rep has been prompt and helpful

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

I have not personnally had any issues with amplify that wasn't resolved quickly by communicating with my rep. One thing that can be confusing is the way benefit statements are laid out when open enrollment is happening

Amplify makes doing HR and payroll management easy and affordable for the small buisness I work for.

Everything is at my fingertips., literally.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

Sometimes the vacation, PTO is not managed by HR Admin at the employee's company. Wish that the director was asked to validate or confirmed PTO time. Must be mandatory since admin HR Directors are forgetful people.

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My 401 is a delight to use on Amplify and also my document management. What it needs is to compile a list of all the companies one uses for example the insurance companies for life insurance, the policies and sign in information.

Amplify is a great resource for our company - their portal is great and everyone is always helpful. Whether by email or phone, the employees are professional and always have our best interests in mind.

Sometimes in the past the portal has been clunky and hard to navigate. Once familiar, it was not so much of an issue and has since been updated.

It is very intuitive and easy to navigate. It has dedicated sections for everything (benefits, payroll, time off, etc.) and customer support has been very communicative and helpful so far.

I haven't noticed any real downside so far (six months into it), although I am not using it that often.

Amplify HR provides a centralized platform for employees and is solving problems related to payroll and HR management, which helps in streamlining processes and automating tasks.

I like that the portal is very well laid out and easy to navigate. I have everything I need as an employee in one place and if I need any assistance, the contact information is up front and visible.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The PTO calculations aren't always accurate and make it hard to accurately track how many I have used and how many I'm projected to have within the year. It would be useful if my company kept our employee handbook/policies in Amplify.

**What problems is Amplify HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of having to search in multiple places for the information I need. I can find my pay, my benefits, my 401k, my employee review, etc. all in one place.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

Our payroll/client success team member is amazing. She in incredibly detailed, highlights potential issues we might want to consider and is wonderful to work with. I cannot say enough about how much we appreciate her support and expertise. She is also local to our state, which helps so much. Amplify handles worker's comp and benefits for us, so it's nice to not have to manage separate providers for those needs. They are willing to take on smaller companies with very employees.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The portal/platform they use is not mobile friendly and the tech seems really antiquated. Amplify doesn't seem interested in supporting benefits admin for small organizations well. Open enrollment often has hiccups and when we have questions about available products or issues with providers, Amplify isn't really able to assist. The few times we have needed HR support, we haven't really gotten what we needed. In recent years a few new Amplify fees have popped up that weren't really well explained when rolled out.

Amplify handles payroll, worker's comp and benefits for us, so it's nice to not have to manage separate providers for those needs. They are willing to take on smaller companies with very employees.

Amplify HR is easy to use, site navigation is simple, and it makes it easy for employees and management. I use it every day for both functions, and I couldn't be happier with the system.

Not having someone on site to talk to in private would be better for HR issues, but the Amplify reps are always available via phone or email.

I like the PTO estimator tool. I like that it lists my other PTO besides accrued vacation.

**What do you dislike about Amplify HR?**

The tool is extremely annoying to use. Trying to figure how to request time off is extremely confusing and that's the only thing that it is useful for. For some reason, it is under the Time Entry tab, which doesn't work with Chrome, instead of the Paid Time Off tab. I have to specifically use Firefox to request time off!! I also don't understand why it asks me to log in TWICE!!

Employers need a place to request PTO, enroll in benefits, and view payroll information. This platform does that.

**What do you like best about Amplify HR?**

we have been using Amplify for years. We have found them to be the best PEO that can help companies nationally and provide personal support.  Each year we are provided with mulitple benefit options and they have some creative approaches that the other PEOs never told us about.  We trust Amplify.  The system is very easy to use and the implementation was pretty smooth.  I would say the customer support has been tremendous.

not many things to come to mind.  things have been very good.

I just dislike having to change passwords so much, I know it is more secure but, having to reset passwords when your pressing for time is stressful at times.

Amplify HR is simple to use and if you're not sure about something it is very easy to get answers from our support staff.  The implementation of switching to Amplify was seamless.  They are proactive in any new guidelines and help us remain compliant.

Some reports take a minute to find the information I need.

Missouri was considering a law of sick days for all employees that would affect our PTO policy. They helped us review our handbook and made recommendations on how to best become compliant.

I always find a few errors when going over the benefit renewal package.

The most helpful part is the support I receive from the staff and the simplicity of the software.

The only thing I can think of is that the last update removed access to the benefit enrollment process I had previously used.

I am not sure I would call them problems, but I would say that Amplify HR is very useful in our payroll process I find that to be the most effective.  Amplify HR a well-rounded system and the recent updates have been very to navigate.

A comprehensive platform for managing payroll and employee records. An effective and HR support benefits team. Exceptional day-to-day support. My Client Success Specialist Angelica Ferraro is one of the most effective, reliable and buttoned-up people I've worked with.

Some aspects of employee PTO cannot be managed directly within the portal.
Report customization has a clunky interface and I have struggled at times to generate the reporting data I need.

The website provides a pretty good layout and allows me to do what i need to do for work.  While its not perfect, I have dealt with other HR websites that are much worse.

Not being able to adjust the default hours of working (as it has 8 AM to 4 PM as the default, instead of 8 AM to 4:30 PM).

The website has been improved greatly the last couple years.  It allows for each view of check stubs, PTO, and benefits.  Our contacts and Amplify are fast to resolve any issues.

Initially the website had some flaws that caused issues, but it's been greatly improved since.

As a small staff member, I find it nice to have all of the HR capabilities of a larger organization. Implementation was extremely easy. Payroll reporting is simple and we were able to provide other benefits like dental to staff.

Amplify's PEO cost is very affordable. The staff responds to problems in a timely. if one staff cant answer your question then they find someone who can.

The time keeping system is not ideal. Sometimes admin needs to adjust time but it cant be done except thru a staff person at Amplify.
