Nothing to report as far as dislikes go. **Recommendations to others considering Accent Technologies:** If you have not seen a demo or spoken with anyone from Accent Technologies yet and you are in the market for a cutting-edge, comprehensive content management tool, I highly recommend that you do. It will be time well spent. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Overall, the customer experience is night and day compared to our old content management platform. At a minimum, we have solved pain points that we expereienced on our old platform with the Accent solution but we've also been afforded new application opportunities through the Accent platform such as a robust Salesforce integration, emailing and tracking capabilities, social media like collaborarion tools and a Communication module that allows for easy and efficient campaign management for internal and external audiences. ### 3. Accent permits me to keep up and control the business enablement toolbox just as product documentation. Everything can be consistently finished in minutes. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** Accent has a few gaps in its features and we are a group of Mac clients and many of their functions are just working on PC or require a workaround. Explicitly web record transfers saving money on a Mac as a Weblock document and requiring a product to interpret them into a URL record. Maybe the way that it was hard to track down the element where I can match up records to my local pc. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Even though there are gaps in the functionality, Accent reacts rapidly and are headed to assist us with explaining our issue, regardless of whether it implies working straightforwardly with the designers to settle key parts. They are strategic, supportive, helpful, and responsive. The platform itself is a game-changer for our marketing & sales teams and our company, helping us provide brand-compliant updated materials at scale and ultimately increasing our win-rate! **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** We have experienced some minor bugs here and there with the platform. The team is responsive and resolves our issues quickly so it's not a big deal. We've also noticed that sometimes the platform lags or is slow in response. Again, not a deal-breaker. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had multiple problems across the marketing and sales organization related to version control, searching for sales tools, and adoption rates. Since launching earlier this year, we've seen better sales and marketing alignment, and overall better sentiment about the materials marketing creates. The search fields and metadata are incredibly helpful in creating an interactive repository for slide decks so that employees can easily find and access files they need. Accent Technologies also provides employees with the ability to customize new slide decks, along with other features that they can access from anywhere. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** On the Admin side of Accent Technologies, although the process is learnable, creating metadata and search fields is not incredibly intuitive nor easy to navigate using the Java Admin Server. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accent Librarian allows Medscape Education to search for slide decks and recreate them using individual slides or multiple slides from various decks. By adding this program to the process of creating slide decks, we are making it easier and faster for employees to create and search for slides they've already made. ### 6. While we still have a ways to go, we could not have gotten to where we are at today without Accent Technologies (the product and their team). Web files on Mac needing to be saved as Webloc folders was clunky but there was always some workaround. **Recommendations to others considering Accent Technologies:** Accent is a great tool if you are curious to get further details on your follow up emails with customer engagements. Previously, it was difficult to know exactly which system to go to to find the content and building a deck was a time consuming process. ### 9. With our old platform, the information was constantly outdated and took forever for someone to find the content. Within a couple searches, you can find what you are looking for and limit the edits to the content as well. I also like the tracking feature so we can see our efforts in real time. ### 10. Viewing and downloading files is very easy, I especially like the feature where you can sync the files to your local computer at a time of my choosing. I like the fact that files have a lot of information about when last they were modified and who by, I think this could be very useful for content creators to have visibility on when last a file was edited. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** Perhaps the fact that it was difficult to find the feature where I can sync files to my local pc. I am not sure how to use the tool to its full capability yet, perhaps it would be better if it were clearer what Accent actually is. I don't like the fact that opening a file opens a new window, I personally would prefer a new page that I don't need to close in order to go back. **Recommendations to others considering Accent Technologies:** Find out how to sync files to your local PC, it's a useful feature but difficult to find out how to do. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** I've used the platform to download and view presentations that are standard to my organization, which has been very helpful with knowledge transfer across departments within my org. My top three reasons for loving Accent is first off, the account support we receive from the Accent team. The tool's tracking and analytics capabilities. Lastly, the ability to slice and dice existing decks and creating exactly what you need for an upcoming meeting. Everything can be seamlessly completed in minutes. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** Accent has a few gaps in the features. We are a team of Mac users and a few of the functions only work on PC or require a workaround. Specifically web file uploads saving on a Mac as a Weblock file and needing a software to translate them into a url file. Some of the admin capabilities can get confusing however accent is willing to answer questions and provides trainings to get you there. Overtime, I could see these portals becoming more user friendly. Control your external shares and the content that tells your company story. Support a product driven organization with the features needed to drive revenue internally. Would be great to have something similar to the Content Manager. **Recommendations to others considering Accent Technologies:** Always pre-plan your strategy before uploading documents. We had to train ourselves on the intricacies of the platform and then turn around and train our users. Will help with the organization and uploading to create your very own Accent Library. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** We struggled with various versions of slides which was impossible to correct until I implemented linking common slides to various decks which greatly led to doing the same with Accent. It makes it easier to provide a customer with their needed product because I don't have to go and look for it in ten different places. I can get all the information here. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** The CRM integration can make it a little confusing if you haven't used it before. Also, it very number based which may be hard for people who are more word or picture oriented learner's. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps sales reps quickly & efficiently find data, as well as gives help on how to improve selling. ### 26. Tied the system to Salesforce to track content utilization at the deal level. They handle the job nicely but the maintenance like patching, upgrade is pain and expensive. We have used the Accent product and see how easy it can installed and maintain. So it is a bonus for a smaller IT department with less staffs. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** I think their interface can be made friendly for non technical people to use. **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Customer management related products. They will work with you on customizing your Content Library and analytics. You can control all aspects of your Content Library, and have customize a workflow process to tailor to your needs. Accent is extremely easy to work with. **What do you dislike about Accent Technologies?** Internet Explorer based Administrator Module **What problems is Accent Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?** Accent serves are the storage for all of our marketing materials. Let me clear up a misconception you may have about our product. Our administrator module is a java based application, so it requires Java compatibility, but functions with any browser. While some browsers don't support Java, we have configuration files that allow those browsers to be compatible with our Java-based applications, such as Accent's admin module. Please note that with our new Content Manager (our newest admin module), java is not required, so you can manage your content from any browser. ### 30.
