There are quite a few improvements but Specifically in AWC/Easyplan setup you have 3 different 3D viewers which works entirely different and has entirely different capability. Easy Plan Viewer is a pain to use when you have data in transit and updates are happening for over a period of time in other sources like 3DX and brought into TC, I have already recommended to unify it for a better user interface. I appreciate how Teamcenter serves as a central repository for our data, which was previously in silos, and it's great for security purposes. It solves problems like BOM management, ECN management, and variant configuration, making life much easier in our organization. Execution has become faster, and I really value the ability to track the reason behind revisions with ECN. The audit trails and the liberty it gives engineers to manage the bill of material with ease are standout features. Like I mentioned, there's no interlock for the ECN. A revision must have an interlock; it must not be revised without the ECN. So I think Teamcenter should work on that aspect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like Teamcenter for its interface and the flexibility it offers. The different capabilities to integrate with various CAD software are impressive, and I believe there isn't a CAD software that cannot be integrated with Teamcenter. I find that flexibility extremely helpful. The Active Workspace interface is very easy to operate, which I really appreciate. I like how it allows us to integrate NX with Teamcenter, making everything centralized on one platform. This really helps with managing workloads, hierarchy approvals, and tracking what our designers are doing. Plus, it's cloud-based, so we can operate on our phones and provide approvals, which is very helpful. The initial setup was also easy because Active Workspace doesn't require a lot of software installation, being just URL-based. I appreciate the convenience it brings. There isn't much that doesn't work well for us with Teamcenter, but I feel that the out-of-the-box configurations could be improved. For example, when we want to integrate third-party software not from the Siemens portfolio, a lot of customization is required. I find the process for upgrades and migrating legacy data in Teamcenter to be challenging. It needs a more seamless upgrade process for PLM and integrated applications. I love everything about Teamcenter. It's simple and easy to use and understand. It simplifies data management as a one-stop solution where I can see my entire product history in one place and reduces repetitive work. The concept of 150% BOM for variant management and the ability to know the entire history of a product including creation, revisions, and changes through the data comparison feature are invaluable. Well, with rich client I had a splendid experience but ever since AWS was introduced, many capabilities have been transferred to Siemens support center instead of the end user such as deletion of unwanted revised but unreleased data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
