  ### 40. Essential for File Management and Component Organization

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Teamcenter?**

I like Teamcenter's ability to organize and sort child components from a parent assembly.

**What do you dislike about Teamcenter?**

I find the search feature in Teamcenter could be improved. It would be helpful to search similar parts with respect to geometry, material, and corresponding drawing. Also, a feature to compare geometry features of similar parts and suggest relative correlation percentage-wise, even when the material is different, would be beneficial.

**What problems is Teamcenter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Teamcenter for file management and release while working with NX files.
