"The best freight software I have used by far"
What do you like best about Freightview?

Freigthveiw makes booking freight extremely quick and easy while using an easy to operate interface. I use Freightveiw every day and book LTL shipments across multiple carriers with no issues. Being able to save and preload both delivery addresses and frequently shipped items makes booking a breeze. Almost all of our connections are set up through integration, all we have to do is provide the key and they figure out the rest. Also, the platform has great reporting for auditing and recording shipping records. The customer support is great and they will help with just about anything. Overall we have had a great experience using Freightview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

There is not much that we dislike about Freightview. One thing that can be difficult is shipments booked in the future do not show up on reporting until after the pickup date requested. Also, if USPS rates could be put in that would be a huge game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freightview has streamlined my inbound freight shipments"
What do you like best about Freightview?

The most helpful part is that we are constantly bringing in the same 20 items weeks after week. It is absolutely a game changer to have all of the NMFC items stored and to be able to instantly receive the quote for spot rate. If I had to do these shipments every week with a broker I would be spending 7-8 hours a week back and forth. Thanks to Freightview, I am only spending about an hour a week on inbound freight! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

The only thing I dislike is that sometime the carriers mess up the rates and when we get our bill it adds and extra step for our finance department to go after the carriers for the rate they quoted, but this is not really a freightview problem, it is more of a problem with the carriers and how items are classed. "Freightview is one of the best TMS programs in the market."
What do you like best about Freightview?

Our Company transitioned from LTL carrier sponsored software to FreightView a little over 2 years ago and we haven't looked back.

Setup was quick and easy. We only need to load credentials to the system and the API connections get established.

We use the software daily for all of our freight transactions. FreightView allows all modes of transportation to be managed in a single platform. LTL, Parcel, and Truckload. Many other systems lack some segment of transportation and cannot provide a comprehensive platform.

The contact group feature manages your vendor contacts and allows you to request quotes from multiple vendors on demand. The quotes are kept together inside the quote request allowing at a glance review of your options. The ability to review these after the fact is also extremely helpful.

It has extremely helpful analytics for all transportation modes built in, and the ability to customize filters to produce a variety of reports. The help desk is prompt and addresses our concerns quickly as well as assisting our vendors when they have an issue with the system.

Our transportation vendors have given us feedback stating that their side of the platform is very easy to use and communicates clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

Like any system, FreightView has a few items that could be improved.

There is currently no ability to build an LTL shipment with multiple commodities on a single pallet. The system will only allow 1 commodity to be enter per handling unit.

FreightView does not have the ability to load fuel surcharges which are a % of the line haul charges. This is very common in the truckload industry, but FreightView does not support this method of fuel calculation.

For small package shipments, the system can only accommodate 1 account number because of how the API connection works. If you have multiple facilities with their own Parcel accounts you will need to bill all transactions to a single account (both UPS & FedEx). This can be a headache for your accounting Team, but is manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very simple, yet complete, TMS"
What do you like best about Freightview?

The system over all is very easy to use, and faster than you might think. We ship daily and the last thing I want to worry about is how much time it is going to take to process shipments. Bouncing between different websites to find the best carrier, either by cost or transit, is almost painful. With Freightview you quote, select carrier, fill in shipment details, schedule pick up, and print paperwork all from one site. That's all there is to it, and it flows from one step to the next with few hiccups. When there is a problem, the team is always there and able to help out. Add auditing to the mix, and you have the total package. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

My only real complaint is that with some carrier it takes much longer to get transit and pricing - ometimes long enough that the API times out. That may be due to the carriers sytem and not a Freightview problem, but it's my only real complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thank you for the great review! Please let us know what adjustments you would like to see in the "Analytics" as well, and we can bring them up to our IT team for further discussion!

"User Friendly TMS Always Looking For Ways To Optimize Their Platform"
What do you like best about Freightview?

As a Logistics Coordinator, I’ve worked with several transportation management systems, and FreightView stands out for its simplicity and effectiveness. The ease of use is one of its strongest points.

One of the features I appreciate most is how painless it is to add new carriers. FreightView streamlines this process, saving us time and reducing friction when expanding our network. Their customer support is responsive, and they’re clearly committed to continuous improvement as the platform regularly rolls out new features that enhance functionality without overcomplicating the user experience.

Overall, FreightView has helped us manage our freight operations more efficiently and with less hassle. I’d highly recommend it to any logistics team looking for a dependable and evolving TMS solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

There is nothing of concern or anything that I dislike about the platform. My only gripe would be the addition to manually input dates when running analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"simple to use"
What do you like best about Freightview?

The set up is easy to navigate and easy to understand and explain in new training processes. The autofill feature allows me to quickly pull quotes and set up shipments in minutes from start to finish. I use freightview quite often and the BOL and labels are easy to read and download/print and attach. I've used customer support to update the shipping dates and that was fairly simple to access. The phone numbers are provided in the verbiage on the screen so I do not have to search multiple sites to find it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

Sometimes it is slow and the autofill automatically fills in the wrong information and you have to refresh the page and refill everything back in again. This is mainly for shipments that the information is not saved in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Complete solution for logistics services"
What do you like best about Freightview?

In the era of advance technology, Freightview brings the easiest way of managing all the shipments, tracking, auditing, carrier dispute resolution and BOL generation. It has been more than 1.5 years for me and more than 5 years for my team using the software and our experience is so awesome. The support team is always there for you at anytime you need them and the response is also very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

In my view everything looks pretty cool and perfect but the only thing that restricts the productivity is the truck limit per assigning. It would be better if the limit is increased up to 7 or 8. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful tool thats super easy to use."
What do you like best about Freightview?

FreightView is truly a one-stop shop for shippers. Whether you’re booking, tracking, tracing, auditing invoices, communicating with carriers, or storing vital shipping documents—it’s all right there in one incredibly user-friendly platform.

I’ve used it from both the shipper and carrier side, and I can confidently say: it may be the easiest, most intuitive system on the market. The ability to manage both LTL and FTL shipments seamlessly in one place? Absolutely priceless.

And let’s talk about value—FreightView delivers serious bang for your buck. I've tested many platforms over the years, and this one easily takes the top spot.

If you're in logistics and not using FreightView yet, you're missing out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

Would be nice if it could offer more flexible reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mitch Rabe of Freightview

Thank you for the glowing review, Lori! I've shared your feedback around more flexible reporting and we hope to provide more customization in the future. Please let us know if there's ever anything we can do!

"Freightview Review"
What do you like best about Freightview?

The best part about Freightview is that it allows you to control your own data. This helps you leverage LTL and FTL companies for better rates without anyone else being about to manipulate your data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

There is not really anything bad to say about freightview. If I were to critique it one way I would say it would be nice if it was easier to load in emails FTL carriers that you use often. I know how to do it, but I do often forget where the option is to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Freightview is a great shipping tool"
What do you like best about Freightview?

Everything is in one place, my team and I can see all of the shipments to plan the day and week, whether it be LTL shipments, or full trucks. We utilize Freightview daily. If someone is out for the day, others can jump in and complete transactions. When set up with a new carrier, its easy to put in information and get started. Freightview Customer support is quick and very helpful if they are needed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Freightview?

Some accessorials don't always pull over from account information. Fixing BOL's sometimes don't always carry over to the carrier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Mitch Rabe of Freightview

Thank you for the great review, Heather! If there's ever an instance where we can take a look at the accessorials showing on the carrier end as well, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at support@freightview.com and we'll investigate further.
