I also really like being able to see the recent quotes too incase I need to book a shipment from a past quote which saves having to re-enter the information. **What do you dislike about Freightview?** Sometimes all the details (tracking history) are not available and under the More detail / options and we have to click track and be taken to the carriers website. **What problems is Freightview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not having to search for tracking information on multiple sites and not having to obtain rate quotes from multiple sites saves time. Any issue I have encountered was a user error on my part. This is very useful, and I also love the way you are able to connect tracking from the carriers. **What do you dislike about Freightview?** The software does not allow you to see hardly any information when the interline companies switch the BOL or PRO #. This is problematic as you have to sort through various documents to find how the BOL was changed and the new PRO#. It also does not always integrate with updated tracking. This is the biggest issue, the time it takes to update or the way it connects to the tracking is manually based. Someone has to input the information on every level it seems, so this takes a lot of extra time that more advance / robust software does automatically. **What problems is Freightview solving and how is that benefiting you?** Freightview did provide an update to their software recently that allowed the use of spot quotes for full truckloads. This is very helpful since some customers change their minds between LTL and full truckload. This allows us to sometimes find a full truckload that is cheaper than an LTL rate when it is maxed out on what LTL can do. We no longer have to log in to each carrier's website to get our quotes. We now have one log-in, and one place to put in the information for the quotes. We don't have to learn each carrier's website and where to put in what info for a simple quote. We get our rates that we've negotiated with the carriers, which gives us direct contact with our reps. This is critical to us. **What do you dislike about Freightview?** I can honestly say that I don't have anything worth mentioning for a negative. Everyone I've ever had to reach out to has been super helpful, whether it be navigating the site, sorting through updates or changes, or even requesting features that we feel necessary, that weren't currently available, it has all been handled quickly and professionally. Sorry, no dislikes from me! **What problems is Freightview solving and how is that benefiting you?** We tried using 3PLs in the past, to get away from quoting multiple carriers. We found that we lost the connection with the local reps, as they don't work our account anymore, it is a higher-level rep that handles the 3PL accounts. We noticed that claims were getting constantly denied. When we called our rep, it was out of their hands. Using Freightview put our accounts back in our reps' hands, and claims went back to normal, and we were getting them corrected as they should have been in the first place. We've also found that negotiating rates was much easier. Using a 3PL, you don't get to negotiate rates. A lot of sites require a very specific piece of data to find a shipment which causes headaches, not true with Freighview. **What do you dislike about Freightview?** I'd like a whole page or section that is devoted to just pulling and comparing data. Right now all the data filters are integrated into the 'Shipments' tab, but there isn't a specific area for just data. **What problems is Freightview solving and how is that benefiting you?** We can combine and aggregate all our carriers into one simple site. There is no need to log into each carrier's site to check on the status of a shipment, Freightview shows all. ### 17. For example, NDA Saturday for UPS isn't an option, so I have to go outside the system. Sometimes, customer-routed shipments are difficult to book, specifically FedEx Freight. **What problems is Freightview solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main reason we used it was to eliminate the need to use two TMS systems. It allows the customer to save commonly shipped items so that the information is easily is pulled each time a freight quote is needed for that item, rather than having to input it manually. **What do you dislike about Freightview?** Being a third party system, at times it is hard to get answers if there are issues with a shipment. For example, if there is an issue with a UPS shipment, UPS will not recognize the Freightview pickup# and will not be able to assist. We often find that the cheapest bid is often the biggest headache.
