"Outstanding Reporting and Filtering Features"
What do you like best about BigTime?

The public reports are the highlight of Bigtime, especially with their robust filter features. When projects and tasks are set up, they can be quickly sorted and filtered, making it simple to review both project performance and individual contributions. The data from these reports is easy to interpret and can be integrated into other work processes by downloading it in specific file formats. Additionally, the APIs are straightforward to use and implement, which makes creating custom data analyses much more accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

This is more of a suggestion than a criticism, but I think it would be helpful to include a 'task' field within projects. This addition would make it much easier to review the time billed to specific project tasks, as well as to the overall project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Interface and Streamlined Timesheets Make Work Effortless"
What do you like best about BigTime?

I like the overall general interface, both for its aesthetics and ease of use. For general use like doing weekly timesheets and expense reports I find that the layout is simple and easy to use. For my company’s setup, the dropdowns for both columns and rows are organized and user-friendly.

When I need to dive deeper into project details, the process in doing so is simple and BigTime makes it easy for me to review project bugets and client details.

I like that I can view weekly totals in my timesheet. It is insightful to know my billable hours vs. overhead.

I like/love the “clear blank rows” feature. It helps me start a clean, new week from scratch and removes a lot of the “noise” from the prior week. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

This is just something that I think could be slightly improved. I am someone that has several weekly timesheet entries (rows), and sometimes it can be burdensome to find a specific entry. It would be helpful if there was a “search bar” to view or apply to specific rows (“Project” row). This would help me ensure I am not making duplicate entries quicker. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

There’s a lot of value in a layout that stays clean while still handling real complexity, so it’s great to hear BigTime makes weekly timesheets, expenses, and deeper project details easy to navigate when you need them. Having clear dropdowns, visible totals, and quick access to budgets helps turn data into something actually useful.

The way you described using weekly totals — especially comparing billable versus overhead — is exactly the kind of insight those views are meant to support. And the “clear blank rows” callout is a great one; starting a new week without leftover noise can make time entry feel much lighter.

We also appreciate the idea around searching within timesheet rows. When you’re working with many entries each week, being able to quickly find or validate a specific project would make staying organized even easier. Thanks for sharing such a thoughtful perspective on how BigTime fits into your workflow.

"Fast, easy-to-use time tracking with a reliable timer and mobile access"
What do you like best about BigTime?

I really love the timer feature in BigTime because it helps me accurately track my project time and ensures it

counts correctly toward my time charges once I end a session. The platform is very easy to use and straightforward, which makes logging time quick and stress-free. It's also noticeably fast compared to tools we've used before, with no lag or hanging. Discovering the mobile version has been especially helpful when I need to log time quickly while away from my desk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

There aren't any major issues that stand out so far. As I continue using more features over time, there may be

areas where small refinements could improve the experience even further, but overall the platform has been

smooth, fast, and reliable in daily use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful, Reliable Tool for Managing Time and Financial Data"
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime works very well on PC and feels stable for everyday use. I like being able to sort data by both budget item

and work code, which makes it easier to review project details. The summary view showing billability rate is also

very helpful for understanding performance at a glance. Overall, the ease of use, reporting visibility, and number

of features make it a strong tool for managing time and financial data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

The main drawback for me is the mobile app. Compared to the desktop experience, the app feels less polished

and not as reliable for regular use. Improving the mobile experience would make it easier to work consistently

across devices and would better match the strength of the PC version.

"Organized, User-Friendly, and Efficient Workflow with BigTime"
What do you like best about BigTime?

What I like most about BigTime is how it centralizes time tracking and project management into one streamlined platform. It makes logging hours simple, quick, and consistent, which is extremely helpful during busy periods when accuracy matters. The interface is clean, organized, and intuitive enough that I can easily switch between jobs, review past entries, and stay on top of engagement codes without wasting time searching for information.

I also appreciate that BigTime improves workflow efficiency by reducing manual tracking and potential errors. Features like project visibility, time history, and approval flow make it easier to manage work and maintain accurate records for billing and review. Overall, it helps keep work structured and reduces administrative friction, allowing more focus on actual client work rather than tracking it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

While BigTime is very useful overall, there are areas that could be improved from a user experience standpoint. At times the platform loads slowly or lags when switching between pages, especially when accessing reporting or searching through historical entries. Navigation could be more streamlined — certain functions require multiple clicks, and locating older entries or making edits sometimes feels less intuitive than expected.

In addition, reporting could benefit from greater customization flexibility. Although basic reports work well, more filtering options, data layouts, and export formatting choices would make analysis faster and reduce the need for manual adjustments outside the system. With improved speed, smoother navigation, and enhanced reporting capabilities, BigTime would become even more efficient and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Reading through this, it’s clear BigTime has become a core part of how you organize work — from logging hours and managing engagements to keeping approvals and billing accurate when things get busy. That kind of consistency and structure is exactly what a centralized system should provide, so it’s good to hear it’s helping reduce friction and manual effort.

We also appreciate how clearly you outlined where the experience can feel heavier than it should. Performance slowdowns, extra clicks, and limits around reporting flexibility stand out more once the basics are working well, and your feedback puts useful detail around where those moments interrupt the flow.

Thanks for taking the time to share such a thoughtful, balanced perspective. Input like this helps us understand not just what BigTime does well today, but where refining speed, navigation, and reporting could make an already solid workflow even more effective.

"Flexible project and time management with strong reporting capabilities"
What do you like best about BigTime?

BigTime is easy to use for organizing multiple projects, including different disciplines within the same project, which makes time tracking clear for both my own work and for managing team members. Expense submissions are straightforward, and I like that different tax options are provided, and handled automatically. The ability to pull reports directly and customize report fields is also very helpful. Overall, the ease of use, strong reporting capabilities, number of features, and flexibility support both operational and project management workflows quite well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

At times, timesheet entries can time out without a clear warning, and refreshing or saving the page can result in lost entries. Additionally, when searching for projects, the option to include inactive or completed projects does not always work as expected, sometimes requiring opening a new tab and navigating back to the projects page. These issues are occasional but can be disruptive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Managing multiple projects, disciplines, and reporting needs in one place isn’t simple, so it’s encouraging to hear BigTime is supporting that level of flexibility — from time and expenses to reporting and tax handling. Having those pieces connected can make a real difference for both individual contributors and managers.

We appreciate you calling out the moments where that flow breaks down. Timeouts and inconsistent project search behavior can be disruptive, especially when you’re moving quickly between entries or reviewing work across active and completed projects. That kind of detail is important context for understanding where reliability matters most.

Thanks for sharing such a thorough perspective. Feedback like this helps reinforce what’s working well while also highlighting where the experience can be made more dependable day to day.

"Centralized Timesheets and Expenses Make Work Effortless"
What do you like best about BigTime?

I appreciate having both timesheets and expense tracking integrated into one platform, as it keeps everything centralized and simple to manage. Submitting timesheets via the mobile app is especially convenient, particularly when working remotely. The auto invoice drafting feature is also valuable, as it streamlines billing and cuts down on manual work. Overall, the platform’s user-friendly design, robust functionality, and seamless integration of essential features make my daily tasks much more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

There are a few aspects that could use improvement. For instance, having the ability to copy timesheet comments from one day to the next would save time on repetitive entries. Additionally, the mobile app sometimes encounters issues when submitting expense reports, and there is occasional lag that can slow down the process. Although these issues do not prevent daily use, addressing them would make the overall experience even smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Bringing time, expenses, and invoicing together in one place can remove a lot of friction from the day — it’s great to hear that setup is helping you stay efficient whether you’re working from your desk or on the go. The mobile access and auto invoice drafting clearly play a big role in that.

We also appreciate how clearly you outlined what could work better. Repeating comments across days and occasional hiccups with mobile expense submissions are the kinds of details that matter when you’re using the platform every day, and calling them out helps us understand where the experience can feel slower than it should.

Thanks for sharing such a well-rounded view of how BigTime fits into your workflow. Feedback like this helps us keep refining the balance between powerful features and everyday usability.

"Efficient Project Visibility with BigTime"
What do you like best about BigTime?

I use BigTime for tracking time, budgets, and billing. I appreciate the great visibility it offers into the history of each project, helping me see the big picture and forecast future work. I like BigTime's ability for each person in the company to see the financial impact of their individual work, which helps us all understand our contribution to the company's bottom line. The simple charting within each project gives a quick overview of where the work stands and how much budget is left to finish a project. We've recently switched from other tools like FileMaker and Sage because BigTime combines the best features of those two solutions and continues to add valuable updates. I also found their support team to be helpful in resolving setup hiccups quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I don't have any problems with BigTime. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Seeing the full picture — from time and budgets to billing and forecasting — is no small thing, so it’s great to hear BigTime is giving you that level of visibility across projects. When teams can clearly connect their individual work to financial outcomes, it changes how everyone engages with the work.

We also appreciate you calling out the project-level charting and the transition from other tools. Hearing that BigTime brings those pieces together in a way that works for your team — and that support was there when you needed it — means a lot.

Thanks for sharing such a detailed perspective. Feedback like this helps reinforce what’s working well and where BigTime delivers the most value.

"Stable and intuitive time tracking with helpful autosave features"
What do you like best about BigTime?

I really like that BigTime autosaves while entering time, which helps prevent lost work and makes the process feel safe and reliable. The platform is generally very stable, with little to no downtime during work hours. I also find the interface straightforward and intuitive, which makes weekly time entry and daily use simple and efficient overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BigTime?

I wish there were an easier way to copy a timesheet from one week to another, as this would save time for recurring work. It can also feel restrictive that a comment is required for every time entry, especially when the work is repetitive. These don’t block usage, but easing them would improve efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Filip Zioła of BigTime

Reliability is hard to overstate when it comes to time tracking, so it’s great to hear autosave and overall stability are giving you confidence that work won’t be lost mid-entry. That sense of “it just works” matters in daily use.

Your points around recurring work are well taken. Being able to carry entries from week to week — and having flexibility around required comments — can make repetitive workflows feel much lighter, so it’s helpful to hear where efficiency could be improved.

Thanks for sharing such a clear view of what’s working well and what would make BigTime even smoother for consistent, everyday use.
