What do you like best about FileZilla?

FileZilla is good software to transfer and download files to and from servers respectively.

Simple to use, site manager where we can save entry for easy connection, quick connection bar on top, sync directory and toggle file mode, add file to queue, directly view/edit server file, etc are really good features of this application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about FileZilla?

The user interface looks pretty old but straightforward.

Sometimes it fails to transfer files without a proper message.

What problems is FileZilla solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use it to transfer files from the local machine to the server. It has an 'add files to queue' feature, which is very good. Once we add all the files to the queue and after verifying, we 'process queue' to upload it.

We also use it for quick file view/edit directly from the server. So, making small or minor changes to the file became easy using this option.

It supports multiple tabs for different connection, so uploading file to numerous locations become easy for us.

It also allows to export site manager, queue and other settings-related options, so importing that file on the same or different PC is useful when required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly, after using it since 2014, there’s very little to dislike. The only thing I’d point out is that the interface feels a bit dated, and customer support could be more responsive. What do you like best about FileZilla?

What I appreciate most is the cross-platform compatibility, which allows me to run it on my Windows OS while accessing a Linux OS hosted on a server. What do you dislike about FileZilla?

I like it for a very straightforward install and configuration, quick connect feature which stand out for fastness. What do you like best about FileZilla?

I like it for seamless downloading of WordPress websites files from the server to my local machine for troubleshooting this allow faster testing so that am able to preview as i am troubleshooting to ensure what I upload finally is a masterpiece. What do you like best about FileZilla?

Supports every common protocol – FTP, FTPS and SFTP, so I can hop between legacy hosts and hardened servers without swapping tools.

Cross-platform binaries for Windows, macOS and Linux let me keep the same workflow regardless of the workstation.

Drag-and-drop two-pane UI, Site Manager bookmarks and transfer queue keep large projects organised while still feeling lightweight.

Resumes interrupted uploads and downloads over 4 GB, a lifesaver on shaky hotel Wi-Fi.

What do you dislike about FileZilla?

It can be a little difficult for an average user with some of the terminology that is used. I have been building websites for almost 30 years and sometimes find the naming of features both outdated for modern times and also named more like a programmer vs a power user. What do you like best about FileZilla?
