I want to know why no one delivered the product we were promised. Please do an internal review and figure out why the transition for Ocoee Riverside Farm was handled so poorly. If you have questions contact me at support@ocoeeriversidefarm.com

Complete garbage. No one knows what they are doing.

Checkfront couldn’t even move the system over correctly. Do NOT use checkfront!

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Ease of use, customer calendar screen, guests booking experience and ease of use when booking. Responsiveness, iPhone support.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

I have asked for eight years for ability to give our brides the ability to book into a block of rooms set aside (locked) for them. I have asked for  years for guests to be able to use their resort square gift cards to book then use my square based resort gift card to pay for the room. I don't think my requirements ever make it to the top of the list for development. Square is a Checkfront partner.

Too many button clicks to manually process OTA payments from Booking com and Expedia, compared to Cloudbeds software. Booking com zip codes is a postal code from Europe which does not work with Checkfronts integration with Square.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Entering room bookings both at our front desk and through guests booking directly which save us time. Except when they have a square gift card issued by the resort that they can't enter online. Integration of third party (OTA)  bookings requires way to many clicks to process paymensts

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Checkfront is easy to use for my business and our customers. That's an essential key to making things work primarily on eCommerce. And the answer is when you receive a click from a customer purchasing our services.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

The only matter is not having an immediate response to the surge of a dude. I compare this to our customers looking for a quick answer to what they want. But everything is solved on time.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checkfront has been very understanding because I'm not an expert. Still, I do everything to understand how checkfront work appropriately for our website and customers, and I mean, I do all the work programming our links. Of course, easy things sometimes become difficult for me, and they always have a straightforward and dynamic way of explaining how to do them.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Many of our sales related points of action can be automated with Checkfront which makes our job a lot easier and gives us time to focus on making sales instead of spending a lot of time on operational points of actions. We also appreciate the integrated payment system and have only experienced very few issues regarding this function. We are huge fans of the support-team - they always ready to help as much as they are capable of and they are very skilled at conveying information and solutions to problems.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

It is a huge task every time we want to make changes in our opening hours, timeslots and pricing as our setup requires many different products, for us to be able to have products for both B2C and B2B customers. We also need product for staff override. Furthermore we have some very specific needs in regards to availability with some products., which makes it even more complicated every time we wish to make changes in availability.

We have requested some translations, which are not possible at the present moment, which causes an unprofessional and dodgy appearance to our customers on our webpage. We hope that the bug can be fixed as soon as possible.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checkfront provides an accessible and simple solution to our booking needs. We spend a lot less time on different aspects of the bookingprices than we did before because Checkfront is very intuitive and effective when everything has been set up correctly.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

I love the ease of booking flow for guests. I enjoy the flexibility Checkfront provides for staff. The Checkfront staff are also so fantastic; their on-going support,  top-notch guidance, and easy implmentation processes. I use checkfront daily and it has become a major tool in my aresnal for pulling data, communicating with guests, and internal operational process.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

My finance team has some issues with the reporting side of Checkfront and I wish Checkfront integrated with our current POS.

Checkfront streamlined our reservation process and with the ease of access for guests to book their own reservations easily online has really lessened the load for our folks who work in our Customer Contact Center.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Checkfront is constantly updated. Being able to connect with major OTAs like Viator and GetYourGuide is a basic feature. It also helps our business by offering webhook which we use to make our original calendar management system. Reasonable monthly fee is what I like about Checkfront too.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

I wish it offered API with KLOOK, auto cancel system with Viator/TripAdvisor etc.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive 20 to 30 bookings per day on average, at multiple locations. Using Checkfront solves all the mess that can occur if we do not use the software. Some other competitors charge per booking fee but Checkfront does not, and that is also what I feel assured about using Checkfront.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

There are lots of ways to establish a booking, and it works very well for guiding companies. I like how well it integrates into our website, and guests have always commented about how easy it is to book through Checkfront.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

There have been glitches and errors in the past; however, those seem to have been resolved and the booking system seems pretty flawless right now. I wish the cost wasn't so high.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main glitches was that the inventory, when adding or subtracting a set amount, would not be correct in the end. For example, I would say "+10" for a certain timeslot, and it would add 20, or subract 10 from the other time slots. I would sit there and redo it time and time again until it finally worked. That was not a problem this season, though, so it seems to have been resolved!

The integrations and the way it streamlines the permissions with my team members.  It organizes our reservations in real time with partner accounts which is also an amazing feature

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

Sometimes the integrations dont work right away but with tweaking we are able to!  We have also not been able to get Apple Pay to work on our checkout on the site.  Other than that there is nothing to dislike.

THE ABILITY FOR PARTNERS TO MAKE RESERVATIONS AND SEE our availabilty in real time is amazing.  It also solves the problem of keeping our staff prepared for the next day and what we have booked to prepare ahead of time.  LOVE the partner account feature.

I dislike the ability to easily edit bookings. More specifically, it is difficult to add days to the guest's stay if there is a gap in their occupancy. Or, if the guest switches from a small campsite to a large campsite.

CHECKFRONT have been integral to my business. They have incredible customer service and are there to help you set up. I never have a problem with the platform either it works seemlessly.

There is nothing about checkfront I don't like

Checkfront is integral for me as they take control of the bookings and recovering payments. The customers are much happier booking through a good system and company like this they know they are in good hands. Refunds are really easy which is important incase of heavy rain. All this leaves me free to be a better guide

It is reliable and seamless, with many features we use and love! It makes booking easy for our customers and the waivers ahead of time is brilliant. Competitors try to take us from Checkfront all the time and they usually fall very short in comparison.

The hero landing page has a very small calendar that the customer needs to change in order to see what is available and they miss it a lot and then think what they want is not available

SO many calls which saves on number of employees needed. Saves us money and makes us money and saves our sanity of being constantly on the phone taking reservations and answering questions. Brings us into the modern times of online reservations and waivers.

I like the reservation part best. It is very easy to make and import new reservations.

I wish Checkfront had a way of marking rooms yet to be cleaned and rooms that have already been cleaned for the day.

Checkfront helps us eliminate double bookings. It benefits us by not having to contact a guest regarding a double booking.

It isnt possible to be able to speak to customer help unless you pay for a high end package which looses its personal feel that it had when we first signed up.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Since our introduction phase, the Checkfront Customer Support has been incredibly helpful. Our business offers private nature excursions, which required a customized setup. Customer Support sent us personal videos, explaining how to arrange the setup. This allowed us to then set everything up ourselves, all the while learning how to work with the booking software. Since then, we've asked for several complicated customizations, including connection to Viator as a private excursion. Each time, we were helped extremely well by Checkfront's outstanding Customer Support.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

The learning curve can be a bit steep, especially when setting up for private excursions. However, that is due to the highly customizable nature of Checkfront's booking system. The outstanding Customer Support more than makes up for this - helping you work out the kinks in a highly responsive and patient manner.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checkfront greatly reduces the time and effort required to process reservations. We no longer need to email back-and-forth and our time spent on calls has reduced drastically. Our number of bookings have more than quadrupled since implementing Checkfront. The customer experience is improved, since they are now able to view our real-time availability and can book at whatever time suits them. Our third-party vendors now have their own login, allowing them to place bookings instantly and keep track of their commission.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Checkfront's support team has been so quick to diagnose and find solutions to any problems I ran into. During our first season of booking, as I encountered new booking needs, I could expect a reply email, usually with a video attached to show me exactly how to address the issue within my system.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

Every booking software has limitations. Also, I think each can be complicated to set-up when you have a very involved reservation structure. I previously had another software that set my system up for me. I actually prefer setting it up on my own (Checkfront). It forced me to learn how the system works so I can manage my day-to-day needs in real time and only need to reach out to Checkfront on the rare occassion. The 5% fee added on to my customers feels steep. Also, I would love to see more options available for stylizing the booking dashboard.

Checkfront allows my clients to book, input their information, pay, and then automatically receive information and reminders from our company. It saves us valuable time.

Simple interface to manage the online bookings on the shop end, a lot of options to tailor it and very good support even if remote. 
And just a small set fee instead of % of business charges.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

Some of the inventory visualizations and blocking some offers on specific days are not as easy. But there are ways around .

Online booking for customers with real time availability 
Payment and refund system 
Waivers and forms

Majorly reduced need for phone interactions with customers and increased sales thanks to real time booking.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Does everything you would want and need in a booking software. Also handles waivers which is a huge help. Simple to set up and use and has great customer help and support.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

Checkfront should add a Gift Certificate discount ability. This would be hugely useful for online Black Friday sales and similar promotions. I know we are not the only company that feels this functionality needs to be added. I am aware there is a woraround toi make it possible to discount a Gift Certificate, but it is quite a process and would be very confusing to customers. The checkout procedure must be simple and straightforward for customers. Every other aspect of the online booking process through Checkfront is perfect, but the ability to discount Gift Certificates is a sorely missed feature.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Checkfront is taking the overwhelming task of scheduling and organizing hundreds of bookings and making it simple and easy. They also provide a comprehensive online booking solution that integrates easily with our website. Lastly, they host our liability waiver online and store signed waivers on their servers for us.

**What do you like best about Checkfront?**

Have been using Checkfront for six years and have found the system easy to use and comprehensive. However, with flexibility can come ambiguity which is where the excellent customer support proves invaluable. Most difficulties are resolved within a couple of days. The support team often goes the extra mile and creates a step-by-step instructional video explaining how to implement a particular solution.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

The inflexible pricing model. It's not possible to add functionality to the lowest pricing tier. For example, we would like to use digital waivers and gift certificates however the licensing of these features requires subscribing to a more expensive plan that does not reflect the business activity we pass through the system. A more flexible licensing model would help.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small Bed & Breakfast that provides cycle hire, local excursions and accommodation. Checkfront is our booking management platform integrated into our website and a channel manager for integration with multiple Online Travel Agencies (OTAs). It ensures we never double-book rooms and keeps pricing and availability up to date.

Checkfront is an enabler and facilitator. They enable you by providing tools that help you sell lots of rental items. It could be houses, you might rent out chickens to lonely retired farmers, or something more mundane like us renting out A/V equipment. They also facilitate delivering the best customer experience possible to your clients with easy integrations, automated marketing messaging, and every payment processor imaginable. Their customer support is great as well. It's worth gold texting, emailing and getting a response in minutes not days.

I dislike that I have to share Checkfront with anyone else. Especially our competitors who wonder how we can respond so quickly and deliver the best rental experience possible while they are stuck with software from the 90's running on DOS in the back warehouse.

Keeping track of inventory, what's available on any given day, getting people to pay, sign contracts, give us their information, and reporting revenue, taxes and all the other crap that goes with renting equipment out. They make it easy.

Checkfront is a flexible system that allows us to place our muli-day packages in front of the customer, allowing for easy reservations for our packages. This system is different than most other systems in that it handles multi-day packages with room inventory and weekly dates specific departures.

Although the system is flexible, it has a large learning curve, and sometimes support services lack the knowledge to correctly handle issues as they arise.

The gift certificate setup doesn't function the way I would hope. We have a different packages that we offer gift cards for and It doesn't send a description of the item purchased,  which can be confusing when the person receives their electronic Gift Certificate.

Flexibility to set up for different business models. Many integrations with popular business platforms for communications, analysis, payments, and search. I have not researched many competitors however did look at integrated booking software with wordpress templates for website upgrade. They just didn't have the power or versatility I was used to however they looked pretty. Was a bit of a challenge to customize checkfront to work with new website.

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

Have to manually input bookings from OTA platforms such as Vrbo and Airbnb. Understand that it might be tricky to have syncing both ways. Would be nice to have texting ability bulit into forms rather than through third party app. That would help with Airbnb bookings that only give a phone number for contact info.

**What problems is Checkfront solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrated booking and customer notifications have automated most of the communication workflow. It saves time for standard information. I still spend a lot of time looking up pricing and season information for the different products I sell. It would be nice to have a table with all the pricing info to compare .

I don't like that to have payments in each country's currency, an account must be created for each currency. That is, due to policies, we manage a defined exchange rate in pesos and another in dollars; we don't have a variable exchange rate.

Able to customize by automating our bookings and communication for our customers. Also it keeps all our customers info for past, present and future business.  It's great for our drivers too, as they can have access to the itinerary/customer info through the mobile app.  Checkfront cut the admin stuff in half for us, plus we never missed a booking again

Our only dislike.... when a customer books multiple days in a row, it only sends them a confirmation for the starting day, giving them the impression they only have that one day confirmed

Easy to use and easy for customers to use! We have used other booking platforms and struggled to find something that works for our rental business. Payment at the time of booking is another bonus!

**What do you dislike about Checkfront?**

A few snags that I have found  that only impact closures / availability because we have multi-day rentals that cross a midnight. When I have a closure such as Christmas Day I want rentals to span that date, but not start or end on that date. The software is currently carrying the closure over a extra day.

Our rentals cross a midnight which was a problem with our last booking software. Checkfront allows customers to view the calendar availability more easily than others.

Honestly, I can not think of anything in regard to dislikes. But maybe there could be more options on how to display the pricing on the initial page of the product listing.

Can't allocate staff to a booking. So sometimes you get an overbooking based on staff availability. It takes a longtime for bugs to be resolved and it seems that site builder has been forgotten about.
