The best aspect of Checkfront is definitely the tech support and customer service. When the website fails or the app fails (frequently), the customer support people are very nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Checkfront? Due to company partnerships, I have been required to use Checkfront for 7 years. And I can confidently say that this is (truly) the worst software and service I have ever used. The UI/UX is simply nonsensical. One small example: when the app displays a list of bookings, the list is not displayed alphabetically or chronologically. It's just random. So I have to search through a long list of names every time I need to check someone in. Checking a customer in is the most basic functionality of Checkfront, and they can't even do that well. The website is a similar mess. Integration is nonexistent--I can't track marketing or advertising because Checkfront can't tell me where traffic is coming from. Customers frequently write or call with complaints about the difficulty in booking. So I have no idea how many potential customers simply give up. But Checkfront has certainly cost me business. Checkfront has made it clear that they care far more about shipping new products and features rather than fixing existing problems, which is doubly unfortunate when their new features are broken as well.
