"Great IDE compatible for Macs"

What do you like best about Xcode?

I am able to develop my code while getting suggestions for debugging errors in my syntax. I like that it's compatible with my MacBook, and that I didn't have to install a million packages like vsc in order to develop using multiple languages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Xcode?

I have been developing iOS and mac OS applications now since very long now. I started using xcode 3 and currently ongoing with latest 12.5 version. Since then new language support has been added from Objective c to swift. It is actually very easy to learn and develop robust applications. What do you dislike about Xcode?

Release updates are not provided with proper guidance. Endless software upgrades Repairing of iPhones iTunes Synchronisation always Transferring of data, ringtones creation, documents support for different applications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Xcode:

"Great way to build iOS Applications"

What do you like best about Xcode?

Apple has a really good way to integrate applications into iOS by simulating every supported device in Xcode in a controlled manner so even if you don't have the device you are 95% sure of the outcome and a physical device is really needed only for the final phases of quality control. Since all the devices are created by Apple the integration it's just fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Xcode?

I totally see the reason why Apple wants to lockout iOS development to Apple devices but I just disagree with it, I see a perfectly valid reason to have an iPad or iPhone and a Windows laptop and want to develop applications for it, and if you don't have a Mac you are practically locked out.
