"WorkBook experience"

2.5/5

What do you like best about Deltek WorkBook?

It is difficult to answer this one. I found it difficult to navigate, but it may not necessarily be the system, but the way the team set it up for use within the studio Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek WorkBook?

One must take too many steps to get to things. When I scheduled work, one didn't have an overview of a full month or week to use in Stand Up meetings or capacity planning. It was just a bad system to navigate, but again, it may be the way the system was set up on our side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Comprehensive Features, But UI Needs Improvement"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Deltek WorkBook?

All-in-One Solution : It offers a complete suite of integrated functionalities, covering project management, resource planning, accounting, finance, and customer relationship management. This allows for the centralization of all data and processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek WorkBook?

The software is very powerful, but this power comes with a user interface (UI/UX) that is not always intuitive and can seem outdated.

Regular users (non-experts or power users) often find it difficult to master the system, which can affect their productivity and adoption. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A very powerful agency focused ERP with a superb API, let down to a degree by its outdated UI and UX"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Deltek WorkBook?

The API allows for deep integration with other systems at the agency and at the client. The model centered around activities as the link between users, time entries, price lists, quotes and other vouchers is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek WorkBook?

The UI is difficult to use for our regular users. Power users enjoy the product, but the regular staff struggle. The poor quality documentation and training materials contribute to these problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Horrendous user experience when registering your timesheet"

1/5

What do you like best about Deltek WorkBook?

I am sure the management of North Allience likes it. They chose it. I only see it from the point of view of registering hours in the timesheet, which is infamously abhorrent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek WorkBook?

Everything?

- Poor internationalisation effort (UI only partly translated to Norwegian)

- The user experience of booking hours is even worse than XLedger

- The UI is a drag

- The API is terrible and cannot be easily scripted to make life easier for the technically gifted

- The Android app is unfinished/buggy: loses state, restarts (losing data), no biometric support, etc Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Ueful but could be better"

3.5/5

What do you like best about Deltek WorkBook?

I like the simple interface and ease of use, I also like the wide variety of options and number of features the tool has for use. I use it daily for tracking time, resource and keeping on top of client invoicing and it is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Deltek WorkBook?

I find it hard to integrate with other platforms and tools that we use, it is also quite clunky when in use so the implementation of the tool is difficult when it comes to working with the team and ensuring timesheets are kept up to date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
