What do you like best about WestFax?

The ease of use and the fact that we have zero fax issues now with sending and receiving. We had problems managing separate POTS lines, and things became almost unusable when we tried to fax over SIP. I find WestFax incredibly beneficial for my business needs, especially with its efficient feature set that aids in reducing paper use and tracking lost faxes. I particularly love the ability to customize cover letters, as this feature allows for a professional touch while communicating. The organization features, such as creating folders, significantly help in managing and archiving faxes conveniently. I also appreciate the functionality of emailing faxes, which streamlines communication and ensures that the correct department or person receives the messages promptly—saving both time and resources across our multiple locations. What do you like best about WestFax?

I appreciate the ability to allow users to send emails directly from their computer and receive faxes without needing them to be printed out automatically. The feature that allows users to send emails without us creating separate user accounts for every individual is extremely helpful. This enables us to assign just a small set of staff to manage faxes via a secure portal. I find it beneficial that all users in the district can send faxes easily from their computers or multifunction devices. I enjoy the automatic addition of a cover page to every fax sent via email; the email is transformed into a branded cover page, indicating the fax line from which it was sent, which enhances professionalism and consistency. Also, the integration with Active Directory Sync for user management is super helpful, as it allows the organization to manage access based on AD groups automatically provisioned using OneSync, simplifying user management. What do you dislike about WestFax?

I find it confusing to differentiate between who is a portal user and who can send faxes via email in WestFax. It would be beneficial if portal users were automatically granted the ability to send email faxes or at least have a simple checkbox to enable that functionality. Additionally, the user interface feels very outdated and somewhat clunky, which detracts from the overall user experience. An update to the UI and UX would significantly improve usability. It helps reduce overall paper costs and ensures compliance, which is crucial in our field. The enhanced reliability of e-faxing over traditional faxing methods is a huge benefit for us. I love that WestFax is consistent and offers great customer support, which makes any issues easier to handle. Having access to two methods for faxing, including through their web portal, is quite convenient. Additionally, the ability to set up fax-to-email settings is incredibly helpful, as it allows our staff to retrieve and send faxes more effectively. The simplicity of use is another factor I enjoy, as anyone familiar with sending emails can easily send e-faxes through WestFax. The integration with Outlook further enhances our communication workflow. It's these aspects that make WestFax an invaluable tool for our organization, and why I would highly recommend it. What do you dislike about WestFax?

I dislike how the WestFax web portal can be laggy and tends to freeze when navigating through different menus. This causes the system to hang sometimes, hindering the ability to send faxes or read the fax inbox efficiently and slowing down productivity. What do you like best about WestFax?

I use WestFax primarily as a faxing portal, and I've found it exceptionally beneficial in a few key areas. The platform has resolved prior costs issues we experienced with another provider, making it a cost-effective option for our operations. WestFax also excels in aligning with regulatory requirements such as HIPPA, thanks to its single sign-on (SSO) capabilities and fax line-centric management. One of the standout features for me is the visibility it provides into our operations. This allows me to manage backend processes efficiently, and the collaborative setup we had with the WestFax team was completed swiftly. The visibility into permissions for groups and individuals, along with real-time feedback on outgoing and incoming faxes, greatly aids in testing and managing the system effectively. Furthermore, the integration with our proprietary system via API has allowed us to automate workflows seamlessly. I find it dependable because it always performs as expected, which means I don’t have to worry about it not functioning properly at any time. Additionally, the straightforward fax sending and receiving capabilities of WestFax are very valuable to my company. What do you dislike about WestFax?

I find the admin graphic user interface of WestFax clunky and a bit redundant. It should be simplified, perhaps consolidated into a single page, to make navigation easier. This would allow me to make changes and adjust settings with just a couple of clicks, rather than having to search around to locate everything. I'm also disappointed with the user setup process; when I first started, I had to add about 50 users individually because there was no option to import everyone’s settings all at once. This predictability eliminates any unexpected financial surprises, which is highly valuable for budgeting. Additionally, WestFax integrates seamlessly with our existing Toshiba copiers, allowing us to scan and fax documents directly, which means we don't have to invest in additional equipment.
