**What do you like best about WestFax?**

I find WestFax simple to integrate with, which is really important for us. Compared to other options, it was the best fit in terms of ease of integration and price. Their support is great too:  Easy to reach and provided immediate answers.  When I had some questions, I spoke with a knowledgeable team member right away. It's also nice that their support isn't outsourced. Setting up WestFax was easy with good documentation and excellent support, so I had no issues.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

I almost didn't call them because they didn't appear at the top of my list when I searched for fax integration packages.  I don't believe their marketing team is as good as some of the more aggressive fax software companies.  That said, now that I'm a customer, I'm glad their focus is on other things.

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

WestFax allows us to integrate our software with their solution as a faxing backend for our customers.  Our customers can now send faxes directly from our software instead of printing documents and sending them manually.

**What do you like best about WestFax?**

The ease of use and the fact that we have zero fax issues now with sending and receiving.  We had problems managing separate POTS lines, and things became almost unusable when we tried to fax over SIP.  After switching to Westfax, things have been straightforward, and the customer support has been hands down some of the best in the tech industry.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

The admin interface can be a tad clunky, but it works and allows me to do what I need. It's just not the most polished or fancy admin out there.

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send over 13,000 faxes a month from 77 lines.  That represents an organization of almost 1300 people with hundreds of departments.  We handle both private and HIPAA faxes, and the Westfax platform makes it easy to manage them.

I find WestFax incredibly beneficial for my business needs, especially with its efficient feature set that aids in reducing paper use and tracking lost faxes. I particularly love the ability to customize cover letters, as this feature allows for a professional touch while communicating. The organization features, such as creating folders, significantly help in managing and archiving faxes conveniently. I also appreciate the functionality of emailing faxes, which streamlines communication and ensures that the correct department or person receives the messages promptly—saving both time and resources across our multiple locations. Another standout aspect of WestFax is its user-friendliness; the setup and training were straightforward and hassle-free, making the transition from a manual fax machine smooth. **What do you like best about WestFax?**

I appreciate the ability to allow users to send emails directly from their computer and receive faxes without needing them to be printed out automatically. The feature that allows users to send emails without us creating separate user accounts for every individual is extremely helpful.  This enables us to assign just a small set of staff to manage faxes via a secure portal. I find it beneficial that all users in the district can send faxes easily from their computers or multifunction devices. I enjoy the automatic addition of a cover page to every fax sent via email; the email is transformed into a branded cover page, indicating the fax line from which it was sent, which enhances professionalism and consistency. Also, the integration with Active Directory Sync for user management is super helpful, as it allows the organization to manage access based on AD groups automatically provisioned using OneSync, simplifying user management.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

I find it confusing to differentiate between who is a portal user and who can send faxes via email in WestFax. It would be beneficial if portal users were automatically granted the ability to send email faxes or at least have a simple checkbox to enable that functionality. Additionally, the user interface feels very outdated and somewhat clunky, which detracts from the overall user experience. An update to the UI and UX would significantly improve usability. Moreover, the initial setup process was very challenging and time-consuming, which was not ideal.

I use WestFax to send and receive documents without printing, manage user access via Active Directory, and effortlessly add branded cover pages. It streamlines document handling, allowing secure faxing from email and reducing setup overhead once configured.

I dislike how the WestFax web portal can be laggy and tends to freeze when navigating through different menus. This causes the system to hang sometimes, hindering the ability to send faxes or read the fax inbox efficiently and slowing down productivity. When the portal freezes, users cannot click on any options and are forced to refresh the website, which can be frustrating during critical tasks.

I really appreciate the ease of use that WestFax offers. I use WestFax primarily as a faxing portal, and I've found it exceptionally beneficial in a few key areas. The platform has resolved prior costs issues we experienced with another provider, making it a cost-effective option for our operations. WestFax also excels in aligning with regulatory requirements such as HIPPA, thanks to its single sign-on (SSO) capabilities and fax line-centric management. One of the standout features for me is the visibility it provides into our operations. This allows me to manage backend processes efficiently, and the collaborative setup we had with the WestFax team was completed swiftly. The visibility into permissions for groups and individuals, along with real-time feedback on outgoing and incoming faxes, greatly aids in testing and managing the system effectively. Furthermore, the integration with our proprietary system via API has allowed us to automate workflows seamlessly. Overall, the supportive features and the ease of setup after understanding organizational needs have impressed me the most.

There are some improvements needed in the Print Driver around cover sheets and defaults set for all our users.

I like that WestFax is reliable and just works without any concerns about failures or malfunctions. I find it dependable because it always performs as expected, which means I don’t have to worry about it not functioning properly at any time. This level of reliability gives me peace of mind, knowing that the fax services are consistently available. Additionally, the straightforward fax sending and receiving capabilities of WestFax are very valuable to my company. It simplifies our communication with clients by ensuring that faxes are sent and received smoothly, allowing our business processes to operate efficiently.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

I find the admin graphic user interface of WestFax clunky and a bit redundant. It should be simplified, perhaps consolidated into a single page, to make navigation easier. This would allow me to make changes and adjust settings with just a couple of clicks, rather than having to search around to locate everything. I'm also disappointed with the user setup process; when I first started, I had to add about 50 users individually because there was no option to import everyone’s settings all at once. This made the initial setup quite challenging.

Overall, the service works flawlessly, providing both functionality and integration without complications.

I've worked with several fax vendors over the years, and WestFax has been the best by far. I love their outstanding service and support. I'm also impressed by their ability to adjust to changing times with cool features like connectors for copiers and the Restful API. It makes my job easier as a reseller and helps customers be more accepting of different technology. Switching to WestFax was a breeze, the setup was easy.

Still working on confirmation page delivery to multiple devices all using the same account.

WestFax makes it easier for me as a reseller, and its integration through connectors and Restful API helps customers accept different technology. Their support is outstanding.

I would love more management of API posts to different locations. Right now admins have to create these for us.

We have referral content flow into our application, and this helps our customers easily port their numbers into our system without change management with various and multiple hospital systems.

We are adding fax usage for our customers. I, personally, am not using the fax system.

Allows me to work from home. The software is intuitive, and I run into very few issues while using it.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

Sometimes my fax will give the error of "removal list", I'm not sure what this error is as it doesn't give any further information about what the issue is.

Allows me to work from home and send urgent faxes when needed.

WestFax's application allows easy electronic faxing and reduction of paper usage.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

The fax number admins don't have access/permissions to create additional users for the fax numbers.  Although, our rep., William is great with assisting us in a timely manner.

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No problems at this time.

**What do you like best about WestFax?**

It gets the job done. It works as a e fax service. Pretty straightforward has multiple methods of use - print to fax driver, desktop application, ability to fax via MFP, Online portal.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

It's easy to use but most settings require contacting support. It is not very admin friendly. I've run into a lot of little problems and it's not fully developed to the point where it's super customizable.

**Recommendations to others considering WestFax:**

Speak in depth with partner or WestFax about little things you need and that are required, and I mean every single little detail. Have them explain to you the configurations in full detail and explanation. I was sold this product with false promises/misunderstandings of how it works. And when I would ask support about the things I was told about they had no idea what I was talking about.

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Remote faxing. No longer need to walk up to an MFP to fax. It allows users to fax remotely, less need to be on-premises.  Less time having to get up from desk when in office.

**What do you like best about WestFax?**

It's extremely easy to use, and very flexible (there are multiple options for sending/receiving and managing faxes).  The print driver makes it extraordinarily easy to send a fax.  Same with email-to-fax.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

There are no negatives that I can think of.  It just works. It has been 100% reliable.

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Very helpful for sending secure documents that I don't want to e-mail due to privacy/security of e-mail.  It saves me time because I can send a fax directly from my computer (using the provided printer driver), or via the web portal.  I also like having a record of all faxes sent.  It provides evidence if I need to later prove that I sent something.

WestFax is the best online fax service, offering a combination of fax-management features and easy-to-use software that appeals to frequent faxers. WestFax also supports a wide variety of file formats, and it's priced more attractively than a better-known online fax service like eFax. 

Local, international, and toll-free fax numbers available.
Good fax quality.
Modern mobile apps.

I have been using this service for a few years and it made our lives much easier I can say. The support team is amazing, gives you very fast resolution all the time and they are all so professional and patient. I would definitely recommend WestFax. One of the most reliable secure products on the market.

Better integration with other apps...  SSO SAML

**What do you like best about WestFax?**

It was easy to sign up and cheaper than the other ones I looked at.

The Email to Fax feature is awesome. I can send a fax just using email and attaching my fax. I also like the print driver so I can print off invoices and have them directly faxed.

**What do you dislike about WestFax?**

Not enough interactions to have any potential dislikes at this time

**What problems is WestFax solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to convert my physical fax machine to something cloud based. Doing so freed me to be more efficient and reach more people faster.
