One thing I’d consider whether you care more about content performance or channel performance. 

Those sound similar, but they push you toward different setups. One is about how an article or asset performs wherever it lives, the other is about how each distribution channel contributes.

I think Contently is interesting if your team wants the publishing workflow and analytics tied together. I’d be curious to know how deep the analytics really go compared to standalone tools. That feels like the main trade-off.

The biggest gap I’ve seen in multi-channel tracking is consistency. Different platforms define engagement, sessions, and conversions differently, so the challenge is often less about collecting data and more about getting everyone aligned on what counts. and also different counts, espcially when tracking ad performance across different channels like facebook,GA4, etc
