What do you like best about Volopay?

It’s a very simple, easy-to-use platform. Making payments is much more convenient now, and the overall process feels straightforward. Most importantly, from implementation to till date support, there has been zero hassle in getting anything sorted if ever we got stuck. What do you like best about Volopay?

We’ve been using Volopay for over three years now, and the platform has improved significantly during that time. What stands out most is the quality of support — responsive, helpful, and consistent. It’s been excellent for integrating with our accounting software like Xero, making reconciliation seamless and saving our finance team hours. The permissions and approval flows are intuitive and easy to manage, even as our team has grown. Pricing-wise, it’s very competitive, especially considering the features. What do you dislike about Volopay?

Honestly worked well on all fronts - but we expanded to difference entities so we hadn’t used it for other markets other than Singapore. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Volopay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Volopay has made our expense management and employee reimbursements much easier to track and control. We’ve been able to issue multiple virtual cards for different team members and purposes, which helps keep everything organized and prevents overspending thanks to clear spend limits. It’s also simplified how we keep records and track usage across departments.

One area that was a bit tricky was international payments to India — it sometimes depended on the receiving bank whether payments would go through smoothly. While not entirely Volopay’s fault, clearer transparency around cross-border transfers would definitely help. That said, we were eventually able to work around it using different banks. Virtual cards work very well for online purchases, offering convenience and security. However, they may sometimes be declined or not accepted in certain cases, such as at physical point-of-sale terminals, in-store transactions, or with specific merchants. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Volopay solving and how is that benefiting you?

Delayed reimbursements – Before, employees had to spend their own money for subscriptions or travel and wait for reimbursement. Volopay remove the need for out-of-pocket spending.

Manual processing & admin work – Handling claims, uploading receipts, and bank transfers took up a lot of time. With Volopay, the manual processing and admin work were eliminated.

Lack of visibility – Finance only saw expenses after reimbursement claims were filed, making it hard to track spending in real time. With Volopay, we can monitor spending as it happens and take action quickly if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We recently experienced an internal finance transcription error during a transaction. The issue arose when an amount intended to be transferred to the debit account was mistakenly directed to the credit account instead. This discrepancy led to some challenges in tracking and reconciling our financial records.

Volopay played a crucial role in resolving this issue efficiently. Their team helped us identify and locate the missing amount with precision. They provided step-by-step guidance and tools to track the transaction error, ensuring transparency throughout the process. Once the error was identified, they assisted us in converting the mistakenly credited amount back into the debit account.
