Visualping monitors any webpage and alerts you when it is updated. The alert is sent via email or text message but also via any team notification service like MS Teams, Slack and also API or by entering a row in a spreadsheet. Visualping AI recognizes when a change is important or trivial and flags this in the email. This allows you to filter and focus only on the most relevant changes. Our AI also summarizes what changed since the last time it checked the page so you can save time. Our email notifications include a screenshot of the page with a highlighted area showing the change. Our dashboard provides more analysis tools. Visualping is used to automate monitoring of competitor websites, gain insight into market trends, product launches, pricing strategies, regulatory changes and thousands of other use cases.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I like that it can be set up to send email notifications when there have been any changes made to a webpage. Also, the Text Comparison View makes it easy to see what has been added/removed from a competitors site instead of having to try and figure it out myself. It works good for checking on stuff as I am sitting at home in my recliner.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

Sometimes the Visual Screenshot fails to load due to some kind of error on the web sites code. When a website makes slight layout adjustments it sends out a False Alarm. This becomes very time consuming to get rid of.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This saves me many hours by not having to reload a webpage multiple times throughout the day to see if a price has changed. I simply insert the URL into Visual Ping and it will monitor the webpage for me. Essentially it provides a quick heads up regarding any potential Market Shifts prior to the general public knowing about them.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I love how i receive instant notifications directly to my phone as soon as there is a change to any website. I also really like that the dashboard provides a clear (side-by-side) view of what has been changed/added/deleted in vibrant colors. I can also track many websites at once and ll tracked websites come together into one place in your "inbox" allowing me to quickly review all changes made to each URL.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

They charge a lot for their pricing packages especially when i want to check the pages every hour. Also sometimes the sensitivity of the visual comparison feature triggers false alerts due to minor changes such as an advertisement which is very annoying. I find that the mobile app is somewhat cluttered and will not allow me to update user access levels at the same time; instead i am required to make those individual updates.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Instead of wasting time checking twenty plus tabs throughout the day to determine if a price or item was updated, visualping eliminates that headache. And also with Visual Ping, you can automate the tracking process by receiving alerts via SMS/Email when a website has been updated.their own notification systems which is really convenient and useful.

- Ease of use: The interface is intuitive and doesn’t require programming knowledge (No-Code).

- Integrations: Visualping easily slots into existing operational workflows by sending real-time alerts directly to popular communication and workspace tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Sheets, and email. For more complex use cases, its API and compatibility with automation platforms like Zapier and n8n allow teams to build customized, automated pipelines.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

1. False Positives and Alert Fatigue

Although Visualping has tools to select specific areas and keyword filters, modern websites are very dynamic. Elements such as cookie banners, rotary ads, automatic update dates, or design A/B tests often trigger the tracker, sending alerts when the core content hasn’t really changed.
This generates "alert fatigue". If your inbox is filled with irrelevant notifications, you end up ignoring them, which defeats the purpose of using an automated tool to not miss critical updates.

Potential improvement: The platform could integrate a smarter default “self-exclusion” system that automatically recognizes and skips standard pop-ups (such as GDPR) and banner ads. A feedback button would also be useful in alerts (e.g. "This was noise") to train the model on what to ignore in the future.

2. "Anxiety of Credits" and Price Scalability

The price model is based on the number of monthly checks. If you need to monitor the price of 20 competitors every hour, you will burn your credits quickly. Before Visualping, keeping tabs on the ERP market (specifically other Odoo partners, competing software like SAP or Microsoft Dynamics) was a highly manual and reactionary process. We relied on ad-hoc checks, bookmarking competitor pricing pages, and manually scrolling through their service offerings to see if they launched new apps or changed their positioning. It was time-consuming, prone to human error, and meant we were often reacting to market shifts weeks after they happened.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

It's very useful to not only track price increases and decreases across different sites but also put in any custom condition (eg. a discount is applied, or literally anything you ask)! Most sites only let you track the price. Visualping is amazing!

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The only downside is that you have to pay for a premium plan for some features. It makes sense because all of the features are so amazing and obviously take a lot of work, but that's pretty much the only downside I've encountered!

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualping helps me know whenever a website changes for whatever reason. I, specifically, am using it to track prices and it's great because I don't even have to list a finger. It tells me all I need to know in an email instead of me going through several websites multiple times a day!

I like that the AI in this software knows how to look for specific changes in the website you are monitoring, and setting it up is as simple as typing what you want looked for in a text box. the layout on the dashboard when following multiple sites at once is easy to keep in order. I liked the customization options for how often a site is checked, and the notifications to my email or phone.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The only downside I can think of is better features being locked for paying members. I haven't encountered anything else I would consider a downside.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving me having to manually and frequently check the website for updates. I am in competition with others to sign up first for these work opportunities, so as soon as their posted I need to be applying. This is benefiting me by giving me a timely edge in applying.

I find Visualping reliable and appreciate that it notifies me via email, so I don't need yet another app on my phone. The free tier is generous enough for my use cases. Setting it up was fairly easy.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The emulated input needs an AI interface where I can just tell it to fill the form with some data without having to specify all the XPath of the HTML elements that may change someday. I'd like a text area alongside the 'notify me when' button that has the input for a 'do this before' that can be described in natural language.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Visualping to track changes on websites without having to manually check them. It solves the lack of notification features by being easier and more reliable than scripting. It's handy for tracking things like local kennel new listings and new fiber availability (personal) or for 0day notifications, or new documents release (business).

I like how each time there is a change, I receive an email. This feature helps me because I don't need to keep going back to check changes myself, and the fact I get an email helps me not miss anything. The initial setup was very easy and took only 2 minutes.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I feel like the emails could be more descriptive, tell me exactly what jobs have been removed but at the moment I am not receiving that, I am only receiving how many jobs get removed or added.

I use Visualping to keep track of job updates on websites. It sends me an email each time there's a change, so I don't need to repeatedly check myself, helping me not miss anything.

I think Visualping is so user-friendly. It's super easy to adjust something or to set it up. Compared to other tools I've seen, it's way more easy to use. The support is great and the integration with Google Sheets is really nice, which gives us an overview of all the things happening. The setup was super easy too, as we could just bulk import the websites we wanted to monitor, and it only took a few hours for the whole setup.

I like the tagging and the AI-generated recommendations that Visualping offers on what to track. It suggests what to monitor based on the type of page I want to keep an eye on, which opened up some different ideas I hadn't considered, making the tool overall more valuable. Also, the initial setup of Visualping was simple.

When my trial ended rather than prompting me to upgrade it deleted my workspaces and tagging that I had spent hours creating. That alone almost made me cancel and I am still considering canceling because of it.

I think these touchpoints weren't helpful here, which is useful for us to look at and review.

The ease of use is very nice.  I don't have to be an IT professional to know how to use it.  Implementation was easy and I was even able to import a lot of what I wanted to track with a spreadsheet.  I'm using it every day so it does provide me with some value to find leads.  I think the customer support is ok, but I think their hands are tied on false positives.  I am on the business plan which is all I can afford and they do offer more machine learning at a higher tier but that is out of my reach.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I was almost at the point of cancelling before they added their new Beta AI tool because I was getting so many false positives.   Worked with support to drill down the problem but the new Beta AI tool ended up clearing up about 60% of the false positives.  While I'm still getting a fair amount of bad notifications for something I didn't want to be notified about, I'd say I'm only wasting about 20% of my time when I use the product.  It's certainly better than nothing.  I'm always tagging my false positives with "Irrelivant Information" or "Error" so VisualPing should be able to see my hundreds of reports and refine the product, but I do spend a lot of time going through every notification and reporting back to VisualPing.  I hope they are spending equal time trying to make the Beta product better.

Leads from the businesses I follow are not aggregated in one space so I have to search out individual websites and sift through their site to find a potential lead.  Obviously time consuming.

1) Try turning on the 'Only Alert me when the condition is met' filter - this means that you'll only receive email alerts when a change on a website happens that matters to you.

2) Try using our new Reports feature. Create a recurring Daily or Weekly report, and you'll receive a timed digest with all the most important changes, alongside a detailed description of what happened that Day/Week + description of all the individual changes that occurred too.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I'm most impressed with Visual ping's ease of setup. I can quickly configure a few websites to monitor for specific changes and receive immediate notifications when those events occur. Even better, Visualping offers a free tier, making it highly accessible for experimentation. Apart from that, the AI summaries of the changed content are very nice, as those save quite a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I'm not a fan of the some limitations of the free tier. While email notifications work, I need to upgrade to a paid tier to receive notifications via Slack or Discord. Moreover, the absence of support for other platforms like Telegram is disappointing.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Visualping helps me to stay up to date with the most important websites of mine where I'm unable to subscribe directly to the website for changes. Therefore, I'm getting notified if something is changed on a watched website. With the AI summary of Visualping, I can quickly review the changes to decide if I have to review that website again or not. This saves quite a lot of time and also the annoying thing of checking the websites every day manually for a change.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

It offers a wide range of options, enabling you to customize each check to your specific needs. For instance, you can set it to compare either text changes on a page or visual changes only. Our team finds the daily automated checks to be extremely beneficial. If any changes are detected based on your criteria, you receive an email notification containing sufficient information to help you decide whether further investigation is necessary. In this respect, we believe it provides excellent value for money.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

One major drawback is that you'd need to create separate checks for the same page if you want it to be tested for both desktop and mobile screen sizes. In most cases, we want all pages to be tested for both viewports, which means we have to use twice the credits.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team needs to be informed about any changes to our clients' websites as soon as they occur. It's crucial for us to act quickly when a change is due to an error. Additionally, it's important for us to be aware of any genuine content changes that our clients make to their website's most important web pages. This tool notifies us whenever any of these events occur, eliminating the need for us to manually check web pages daily.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

I used to have to manually remember to visit websites to get the latest updates. For example, new swimming lesson times for my kids or the latest on the Canada Post strikes that could affect my business. But Visualping does this automatically for me. Also, I like the scheduling feature.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I wish Visualping had some sort of wiki where I could look up questions and answers from other users about how to get the most out of the system. There is limited documentation. Their customer support is only via email.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I need an automated tool that monitors websites and lets me know when they change. Otherwise, I'd have to do this manually and set alerts for myself. I used to do it that way and it was a pain. Visualping is much easier and saves me time.

No more needing to constantly check in on something to see if it's been updated. Save time and effort and let their service monitor pages for you. It's easy to implement a daily scan, and I find that I frequently use it for these annoying tasks. There are lots of features, but I don't find myself needing to use most of them for my purposes.

Checks are limited on the free tier, but if you're using them in a commercial setting, they're fairly affordable.

It allows our team to quickly respond to changes, grab inventory from sites that do not support built-in alerts, and more.

For more frequently checks (ex: daily) you need to pay. The checks does not work with very long pages.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Overall extremely easy product to use with easy setup process. We've been using the product for competitive intelligence reporting for a variety of products from a competing company and it's worked well to give us updates on certain products. Feature set is pretty solid and provides reasonable flexibility. We've basically integrated it into our competitive research process using email notifications. We're currently getting weekly notifications from the product, but will probably back down to a lower frequency as we're finding the tool does pick up on more site changes than expected. We haven't had a reason to contact customer support thus far, which I think is a pretty good testamant to the ease of use for the product.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

The behavior of the tool when dealing with interactive site elements does leave some to be desired. We were trying to interact with an accordion on a competitor site and wanted to look for change in a specific element insude that accordion, but the tool didn't have the flexibility to do that so we used a workaround. It still functions fine for our uses, but in the long run we may build a custom scraping bot for that specific competitor.

You can "set it and forget it".  Sometimes is has false alerts but I believe that is because of the website I am monitoring not being up 24/7.

I wish I could get more than one daily update on the free plan.

**What do you like best about Visualping?**

Visualping saw a nerve-cracking problem in the real world, quantified it, and presented a suitable solution for marketers. You should check it out; it doesn't matter if you're a product marketer, content marketer, or working in any role across the marketing function in any industry. Here are my two cents on it.

I'm working in the higher EDU space for a U.S.-based business. Yes, it's crowded and comes with its own set of problems. Everyone's doing their best, and everyone has the best resources at hand. So, how do I make sure I'm one step ahead?  

By getting continuous intel into my competitors in real-time. I want to stay informed about every fresh article, new product or service offering, or even minor alterations to my competitor's messaging as soon as they are available.

This happened recently, I received an email from Visualping telling me about a new category called, "Student Life" that popped up in my competitor's navbar. 

I instantly checked the SEO implications for it and understood that it was worth chasing this new keyword. I researched similar keywords and found a couple of topics with loads of potential to bring traffic.

I shared this update with the business team managing the EDU vertical. They too were interested in chasing this tail. Voila, we had a new blog vertical with a strong magnetic pull for college students eager to read tips to make their lives better.

Moreover, I have set up monitoring for our own website. There are many internal teams working on the EDU business. So, sometimes, it's difficult to stay updated on everyone's agenda. It's chaotic working with seven different teams. Visualping was really helpful in keeping track of changes on the website for everyone.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

I wouldn't exactly say downside, but yes, the product needs some improvements.

Recently, I received an email from Visualping telling me about the changes that were mere UI transitions of the "Suggested Blogs" section on the website.

**What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked extensively with startups in the past, but working in corporate is new to me. Several teams are involved, and they don't have the bandwidth to broadcast every small detail or update to all concerned teams. At least, that's the culture of my organization as of now.

This is where Visualping came in. I wasn't searching for a tool such as this, but it felt timely when I found it. I was able to communicate every small update from the gigantic website back to my team.

It's very reliable and also makes it easy to figure out immediately what changed, with both the visual & text-based diffs. It's also super easy to set up - all you need to do is just plug in a URL and how often it should check. I use it for a bunch of websites that I don't expect to change that often, but when they do change I really want to know.

Nothing, really! It really gets the job done for what I need.

It solves the problem of having to check a potential competitor's website really often, when in reality they'll only do updates every few months. So instead, of having to check, I just get an email when I need to look.

This tool is exactly what I'm looking for. I need a service that can check websites of interest and report to me when a specific element on that page changes. All I have to do is spend some time setting it up once and it does the rest for me.

**What do you dislike about Visualping?**

It's a little bit difficult to set up and use. It's difficult to select the exact element on the page I want it to check for. It also doesn't work as well as I was hoping. Even though I selected a specific element on a page, it still notifies me when anything else on that page changes instead of just that specific element. If this could be fixed, this tool would be perfect.

I needed a service that could automatically check websites of interest and notify me when a specific element on the page changes.
