"competitive intelligence for marketers"

What do you like best?

We choose the vendors we want to follow and always receive timely alerts about competitor's news. The UI is easy simple on most pages. The vendor is very responsive and great to work with. The insights provided are extremely valuable for marketing competitive intelligence.

What do you dislike?

The insights received are mainly marketing mentions and changes to the vendor's sights - we would love deeper insights about the products. You can create battlecards, but the way to implement them is not very clear (I am sure this is user error and I have not had the time to consult with the vendor). I would like better instructions within the tool.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Easy way to stay on top of competitive news and messaging. In a market where most vendors say the same thing, this has helped us differentiate ourselves.

"Useful info, well organized portal, helpful analyst"

What do you like best?

Friendly analyst that highlights insightful information. The portal is well organized (by category of info) so its easy to find relevant info (product marketing, customer, PR, partners, etc.). The email sent weekly provides links so you can click to go to the info referenced. The cost per competitor makes it easy to try out the service. We have been users for more than 1 year and we see a lot of value from the information. We have been able to "train" what Crayon surfaces by rating what's useful and what's not.

What do you dislike?

The information Crayon reports on is publicly based info (ie. website changes) so be aware that what it provides will not be all the competitive info you may need.

"Great competitive insights solution with amazing analyst support!"

What do you like best?

The assigned analysts are very helpful in getting you on-boarded and continue to be a great support. Each week you receive analysts picks which are often quite insightful. The feed is very flexible and lets you set multiple filters. Also, you can get your feed emailed to you and your colleagues at a desired cadence.

What do you dislike?

More editing options for the reports. Let the user choose their own branding.
