The alert is sent via email or text message but also via any team notification service like MS Teams, Slack and also API or by entering a row in a spreadsheet. Visualping AI recognizes when a change is important or trivial and flags this in the email. This allows you to filter and focus only on the most relevant changes. Our AI also summarizes what changed since the last time it checked the page so you can save time. Our email notifications include a screenshot of the page with a highlighted area showing the change. Our dashboard provides more analysis tools. Ping the site save the screenshot, ping regularly compare the screenshots and visualize the difference. Thats it. **What do you dislike about Visualping?** The selection part needs some improvements but not that big a problem. **What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?** With the help of Visualping, i don't have to check back every x minute a site. Simple way to track a website - i like to track product pages for updates (eg new release or opening beta tests) and e commerce sites for sales **What do you dislike about Visualping?** Depending on how the site was built, visual ping has trouble differentiating changes. For example some wordpress sites update their verification questions at the bottom like what is 2+2 and visual ping notifies me **What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?** Track websites that don't offer subscriptions or RSS or any other way of getting notified of changes. Eg new product release, my size becoming available, something i want going on sale, opening beta testing, accepting applications ### 4. I had our devs build a custom monitor to test this one and it didn't pickup on web changes. Thier support was not helpful. For example, when changes are made to fee schedules, when a new press release is added to a website, or when forms are updated. It's nice to be notified when updates occur instead of having to remember to periodically check websites. **What do you dislike about Visualping?** It will sometimes trigger false alerts of changes. For example, if a website has scrolling pictures, it may trigger a "major change" on a page if a different picture is appearing at the time the screen scrape is taken. Not a big deal, but it does clutter up the inbox a bit. **What problems is Visualping solving and how is that benefiting you?** Some examples: I assist financial advisers with registering their firms and their representatives with various state regulatory agencies. States may change their fees periodically, and it's not on any particular schedule. Rather than having to go to the website each time I do a registration to check the fees, I use VisualPing to notify me if any changes have been made. Investment advisers also need to capture and archive their website content when changes are made. I use Visual Ping to notify me when an update has been made so I can perform a website capture.
