## About TraceCloud
TraceCloud is a cloud-based requirements management and end-to-end traceability platform built for engineering, quality, and compliance teams working on complex, regulated products. Since 2009, TraceCloud has helped over 2,000 teams across medical devices, aerospace and defense, railways, pharmaceuticals, automotive, energy, construction, and banking capture, trace, and approve requirements in a single connected system, replacing the scattered spreadsheets, Word documents, and disconnected tools that cause missed requirements, failed audits, and late-stage defects. At its core, TraceCloud gives teams a structured requirements database with full version control, role-based permissions, and folder-level access management. Engineers can import existing Excel and Word files, map columns to custom requirement attributes, and begin working in days, not the months typically needed to deploy legacy platforms like IBM DOORS, Jama Connect, or Polarion ALM. A configurable project model lets organizations define their own requirement types, attribute sets, folder hierarchies, and approval workflows, so the tool mirrors how teams already work rather than forcing process change. End-to-end traceability is where TraceCloud delivers its strongest value. Teams can link customer needs, system requirements, software and hardware specifications, design artifacts, test cases, and risk controls — then view those connections through interactive trace trees and trace matrices. The system automatically flags dangling, orphan, and suspect requirements, giving quality managers instant visibility into coverage gaps before they become compliance issues. A complete audit trail captures every change, approval, and baseline, making audits for ISO 13485, IEC 62304, 21 CFR Part 11, DO-178C, EN 50128, and ISO 26262 dramatically less painful. TraceCloud also includes two-way integrations with Excel, Microsoft Word, and Jira — letting software teams keep engineering stories synchronized with upstream hardware, system, and regulatory requirements. Custom reports export directly to Word templates, baselines lock stable snapshots at project milestones, and dashboards surface progress by user, folder, release, or project. New AI-powered features help teams summarize long requirement documents, detect gaps, conflicts, and ambiguous language, suggest upstream and downstream trace links automatically, and rewrite vague requirements into clear, testable statements. Every TraceCloud subscription includes a dedicated Technical Account Manager and unlimited technical support, with transparent published pricing that costs roughly 45% less than Jama or DOORS. Start a free 60-day trial or book a personalized demo to see how TraceCloud brings clarity, traceability, and audit-readiness to your requirements management process — from day one.

## TraceCloud Reviews
  ### 1. Good project management system

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** JeriBeth S. | Freelance Web Developer, Information Technology and Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about TraceCloud?**

It offers a centralized place to share information and collaborate across teams and with clients. Tracking progress on projects is more manageable than document sharing and status meetings. Stakeholders and managers can see a snapshot or detailed view of a project and better understand all the moving parts and whether a project will be completed by the deadline, including tracking milestones. It is easier to compile and document requirements and track if those requirements were met. Permissions can be managed for each project or workflow. TraceCloud works well with Agile.

**What do you dislike about TraceCloud?**

Setup and integration can be a bit cumbersome for large-scale projects with many moving pieces. Once set up, it works fine. For those who are not tech-savvy, the process may seem daunting to plan and track everything in TraceCloud vs spreadsheet tracking. Buy-in for all team members to use the product consistently over other processes already in place.

**Recommendations to others considering TraceCloud:**

Set up the system as soon as possible and not in the middle of a large-scale project. Get buy-in from all users and have leadership backing to ensure everyone uses the product consistently and accurately.

**What problems is TraceCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were working on a large-scale project with many sub-projects and needed a way to track work and communicate progress across a large enterprise organization. We needed a consistent method for defining the scope of the work, requirements, deadlines, and milestones.

  ### 2. TraceCloud for better connections and transparency

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aravind T. | Associate Technical Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 23, 2021

**What do you like best about TraceCloud?**

It helps to bring together all the pieces of software development lifecycle and connect with visibility and risks been highlighted.Change structure helps in flexibility of right to view components

**What do you dislike about TraceCloud?**

Nothing as of now , will need to discover on the go and more usage of this tool. All the UI for reports showing old school excell style maybe they would improve later or it seems great too.

**Recommendations to others considering TraceCloud:**

I hope it must be similar to any other ticketing tools like ADO or Jira , apart from these the transparency it provides can be explored on the go and so more features of TraceCloud could be make used for better production and utilisation of a product.

**What problems is TraceCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using it as a single platform for collaboration as a team for development from requirement gathering till production deployment as a whole to track progress and monitor

  ### 3. Excellent Requirements Management Process tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jayanth T. | Software Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about TraceCloud?**

TraceCloud is one of the best tools for requirements management. The approach is exceptionally systematic to deal with the team projects widely. Compared to others, traceability is a crucial take from this tool.

**What do you dislike about TraceCloud?**

I have used this product with our team, and we did not find anything dislikable. More tutorials or short bytes will help better understand the complex tools available.

**Recommendations to others considering TraceCloud:**

TraceCloud is suitable for almost all projects.

**What problems is TraceCloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have been using this product for implementing the system engineering practices in our project, which were much difficult to attain without TraceCloud. It has been of great help by increasing productivity and decreasing the workload hence serving us well.
