**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

ThoughtMetric provided solid data attribution, specifically through its multi-touch, non-deduplicated model. This approach is arguably the most accurate way to count conversions and is highly valuable for a true business analysis. 

The platform effectively mapped customer journeys across multiple touchpoints; including paid, organic, social, and direct traffic -giving us a clear view of how our channels interact. 

Additionally, the dashboard was flexible enough to surface most of the data we required, all at a very competitive price point compared to other tools on the market.

The Shopify integration was seamless, provided the necessary permissions were in place, and the support from their team was consistently high. While the platform lacked built-in AI features, this wasn’t a drawback for us; as performance marketers, we’re experienced enough with business data to extract our own insights without needing an AI layer.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

We didn’t have any major issues with ThoughtMetric, but we ultimately decided to move in a different direction because the tool couldn't segregate our specific conversion types (e.g., samples vs. slipcovers). 

If there was one thing we found frustrating, it was that subscriptions don't run their course once you cancel; access is revoked immediately, even if you’ve already paid for the remainder of the month.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtMetric solves the problem of fragmented tracking by providing multi-touch, non-deduplicated attribution. This benefitted us by offering an accurate map of the customer journey across paid, organic, and social channels. 

By seeing the true contribution of each touchpoint, we were able to make more aggressive decisions with budget scaling on our paid platforms while leveraging our organic channels more effectively to drive growth.

**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

It provides the same if not better attribution tracking as Hyros which we paid SIGNIFICANTLY more for. In addition we had several issues integrating Hyros and getting customer service with them would leave us up in the air for days and given unclear answers. I love that ThoughtMetric has an amazing live chat option with knowledgable staff. It is very easy to use and to set up, after struggling with google analytics for months this gave me the insights I needed immediately. I was also able to quickly get a custom rule implemented same day with the chat option.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

I would like if there were an option to add multiple sites but I understand the pricing model and why that doesn't work.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were being misled by Hyros that was charging us $$$$ to lie about our ad attribution. ThoughtMetric was able to verify that Hyros was just running up the bill and trying to charge more for clarification, that alone was worth the change. It has been amazing in showing the touch points and paths of our customers. We can better apply our money to ads that work and increase our ROAS. We are in a niche business so having correct attribution is everything.

**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

ThoughtMetric has provided valuable insight into our marketing activity, something which we were relatively blind to previously. It has allowed us to make informed decisions to refine our campaigns and get a better return for our spend. The team have been extremely helpful throughout, particularly in setting up the tracking pixel for us on our customer web platform. The dashboard is very easy to navigate.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

It can take a few weeks to start seeing the value in the investment of ThoughtMetric, but this is to be expected. I would also love to be able to create custom reports to filter our traffic further to really understand our customers' behaviour more.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were relying on in-platform data from Google and Meta to inform our decisions, which were massively overinflated. ThoughtMetric has allowed us to strip out the campaigns that weren't providing a return and focus our spend on the ones that are.

Very simple to use, and their CX team has been very attentive and helpful.

I do wish the analytics could go down further to the keyword or ad level. However, I haven't found any platform that could do so.

Great click attribution tracking and showing me how Google is actually performing. Needed this to help drive revenue for my clients, and not just fake stats that the Google dashboard typically gives you.

Cross channel views are very good.

Support on technical integration has been excellent.

Hard to keep revenue numbers up to date when amends to orders are made - in our case this is frequent. 

Support has been excellent and solutions are workable however system is not set-up by default to be able to track orders made through our complicated business model.

Mostly attribution as we have all the traditional problems with working out where are orders are coming from when using multi channel marketing strategies.

Super easy to set up and use. Also makes it easy to track customer journey. The team is also quite supportive and for the price of the software, makes it the no-brainer solution for smaller businesses that still need to watch their budget.

I think there could be better reporting for e-commerce such as doing more advanced breakdowns such as location breakdowns for multi-country campaigns, but that's about it.

I like to intuitive nature of the Tool itself, and the ease of use. The customer service and onboarding experience was above and beyond. If you are looking for a great attribution tool that is effective and intuitive, look no further. Cost is VERY reasonable as well!

Customer service is some of the best I've had. The reporting capabilities are also clean and easy to use. The multiple attribution models are helpful too. Pretty easy to implement as well.

It's heavily focused on ecom, and could use some more attention to lead collection. Right now, it only collects customers but not leads. Some competitors of theirs are collecting both and displaying both with customer journeys.

**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

It's clear and concise, and, most importantly, it's accurate. In 90 days we have reduced our clients' ad spend by 85% and reduced their CAC by 69% while increasing sales by 2%. We couldn't have done that without Thought Metric. There is so much noise coming from Meta and Google as the clammer to win in the advertising wars, that it's impossible to know what is what. Thoughtmetric cuts through noise and provides clear, actionable signals to your advertising efforts. I don't believe we should start businesses just to fund Meta and Google's ad bills.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

This product is the Shopify for Attribution. In the early days, people couldn't imagine selling online was so easy. It takes a fundamental shift to realize there is a better way. Many people don't ever make that jump, but those who do; reap the rewards. Give the product time and really learn what the numbers are telling you.

Thoughtmetric shows you an accurate customer journey so you can make Marketing decisions and validate your strategy. Essentially make fewer mistakes and alerts you to problems that you might have missed.

**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

The ThoughtMetric dashboard is very easy to understand. I like that I get an accurate read on ROAS and attribution, as we ll as being able to understand our customer better. The functionality shows you all of the touchpoints in the customer journey, as well as how many times a customer is touched before making a purchase. The customer support is very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

Sometimes the advertising systems connected to ThoughtMetric make updates to their system that doesn't automatically get passed through to ThoughtMetric.  But the support team is responsive and helpful and will always work to get things fixed.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me understand the true ROAS of my campaigns, so I can budget our campaigns appropriately, as well as our customer LTV by acquisition platform, and the number of touchpoints a consumer needs before making a purchase.  There are all sorts of interesting little tidbits you can find out about your customer.

ThoughtMetric has made it super easy for us to see where customers are coming from, which means we can increase efforts in some channels while reducing effort in channels that aren't giving us the same return on investment.

There's a bit of a learning curve, but fortunately the customer service has been exceptional in helping me understand installing the code to track on our sales platforms.

ThoughtMetric is helping us track how many purchases are coming through from ads versus organically. That helps us decide how much money to continue to put into some campaigns, while suspending others.

We had the hardest time identifying the true ROAS on all marketing channels.

Real Time Accurate Data 
Ease of integration: Great communication and was live within a few days .
Team support was spot on and jumped on any call we needed,  live google meets.  
We love the multitouch attribution -  our meta data is now accurate

Would like more featues and they are coming and feedback is taken into account.

We love everything about ThoughMetric. Its a simple to set-up tool, which delivers valuable insights into our e-commerce data including campaign efficiancy and overall shopify metrics. Integration is quick and even for non tech marketers a breeze. We use it daily to keep an eye on campagins and data.The support is outstanding with the quickest responsetime i ever experienced and the team is always very supportive no matter what. i'd highliy recommend to check ThoughtMetric out!

Datastreams are a bit delayed, so its no realtime analytics tool

**What do you like best about ThoughtMetric?**

I primarily use TM to monitor our overall metrics. Becuase we use Shopify Draft orders, it's difficult for any analytics software to accurately track the customers journey, therefore attribution isn't accurate. That being said, being able to introduce a small change in a marketing channel, and seeing the overall MER change is very important for us.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

It would be beneficial for us to have graphs stack on each other so that we can see the direct effect on each metric as cost increases, etc.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking MER is a must these days. Using awareness campaigns on Meta and Google very rarely see attribution, but are a very effective part of the funnel. Being able to track MER as you increase an awareness campaign is extremely helpful.

Thought Metric has taken much of the guess work out of the data we were seeing when we previously only had on-platform metrics. One of the most useful things is that you can flex your view from high level all the way down to order level data. It proved the most value for money platform for our needs.

As a small but rapidly growing business, it is critical to have visibility into reliable and relevant data around our ad spend. After an extensive evaluation of the attribution space, ThoughtMetric was the only solution that delivered on all three critical categories: functionality, support, and price. Michael and his team have been incredibly supportive in both the presales and post sales phases of our relationship. It is clear that they truly care about their clients and their success. Highly recommended!

Great, forward thinking small team from Boston that helped us set up our account in just 2 hours. We are re-allocating advertising budget since, and seen a profitability increase on our ad spend of +20%. Highly recommend ThoughtMetric.

Would be nice to have more insights in assisted conversions in the customer journey. For instance, show which ads or ad sets are the most important in assisting conversions, even if they result in less direct conversions

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reported numbers in advertising tools like Meta and Google just didn't add up to the actual revenue numbers of our business. With ThoughtMetric, we can now address the overspend in these third party accounts and see our ad profitability growing per day.

That it's usable for woocommerce. If you're using shopify it's probably not as good as Triplewhale. Customer service is insanely fast so that's a huge plus.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

We're missing the features to see net profit, pushing back data with a custom conversion to the ad platform itself, so you can actually scale winning campagnes.

Love the simple dashboard and usability. Also love the fact that you can clearly see the journey of someone when you click on an order, this makes the tool transparant and trustworthy. Also love the quick customer support of Michael and his team.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

Dashboard could be made more easy by not having to switch between metrics 'sales, spend, etc.' but just combining it together in a clear overview.

Ive been using ThoughtMetric for quite some time now and I observed that the setup process is quite hectic. Its not easy to get started. The insights it provides are not accurate.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

The customer support needs to be exceptional there and ready to assist. Far I have come across many drawbacks and the poor dedication of the support team makes it a less useful tool.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ThoughtMetric makes it difficult to monitor campaigns across platforms. This is advantageous for businesses it also presents limitations for those who prefer monitoring methods or platforms. Moreover relying on ThoughtMetrics server tagging, for attribution does not always align accurately.

The customer support I received from ThoughtMetric from the time I signed up through now has been fantastic. In an age where businesses don't typically care about their customers, this makes them stand out among other attribution providers. The analytics are very clear and to the point, and I can easily create my own sources to track within their admin.

**What do you dislike about ThoughtMetric?**

There isn't much I dislike about ThoughtMetric. I'd like to be able to know and easily detect the exact incoming link URLs for each attributed sale, which would help me tell which specific piece of content (blog, sales landing page, etc.) is driving the sale. Right now that isn't that apparent.

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before joining ThoughtMetric, knowing where a sale was coming from was a complete guess. ThoughtMetric's unique approach of survey + link tracking provides a very in-depth way for me to tell exactly where the sale is coming from, or at least where my customer thinks they found me from. Sometimes the perception of where a customer is coming from is more valuable than the actual attribution metric. I can now focus more of my content creation efforts towards the attributions that are converting the highest.

Working in digital marketing, we have always found it nearly impossible to track the full csutomer journey  for our online retail business. 
I am so glad we found Thought Metric!
We are now able to track where our customers come from, what ads work best, what social media platforms they interact with the most and  have been able to allocate spend and accurate determine ROAS. 
I can recommend any company struggling to track their customer journey to use Thought Metric!
The platform is very easy to use and the team reply very quickly to any questions you have regarding the platform.

The platform's design simplifies tracking the performance of your e-commerce shop across multiple channels. It provides you with clear and actionable insights that you can use to optimize your return on advertising spend (ROAS).

While ThoughtMetric provides some high-level demographic data, I feel that a deeper level of granularity would help us make more informed decisions about our marketing strategy (including a breakdown of our audience by city, gender, and age group).

**What problems is ThoughtMetric solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Understand which of our channels brings more revenue and profits. Blinding trusting what META/Google says about their conversions isn't a good approach, especially with the latest privacy-oriented blocks to their tracking. Thoughtmetric's server-tagging removes that limitation and adds all the other channels in a straightforward manner (email, sms, organic, direct, etc... and you add all the ones you want with UTM's) .

We use ThoughtMetric for our weekly KPI's, and I find it is an excellent tool for "one version of the truth," which is often a challenge with e-commerce businesses. The post-purchase survey also guides our marketing efforts. Overall the tool is easy to use and provides valuable insights. The support team answers questions quickly and offers additional insight when asked for it. I've used a million analytics tools, and I highly recommend ThoughtMetric!

It collects all the conversion data and attributes it to the right traffic source channel. I can also view the data on new vs returning customers. I plan to collect these data to value my business and sell it later. ThoughtMetric seems really useful for that purpose.

It doesn't import past WooCommerce, Google Analytics, Google Ads data unfortunately.

I've been using it for 2 months and haven't found any downsides yet! The customer support is over-the-top - I hope they can keep it at that level long-term!!

Our sales cycle is typically weeks or months long, and it shows me (on a per-order basis) the lifecycle of the customer. Tells me where to double down on Ad Spend!

The tool is easy to implement and use, and it provides accurate tracking results. The support is readily available, responsive, and flexible. We've found that its tracking results are more accurate compared to competitors. This is because its tracking method is less susceptible to being blocked by tracking tool blockers.

It would be great to have a sandbox or testing environment where you can test your implementation and see results immediately. However, the support is allways available to help with implementation.
