Effortless Onboarding with Textla
Getting started with Textla’s marketing texting platform was refreshingly fast and straightforward—even with the added complexity of porting my existing text number. The support team, especially Kellen, maintained excellent communication throughout the process, coordinating seamlessly with my carrier and keeping all parties aligned via a shared ticket numbers. Their proactive updates ensured everything moved quickly and smoothly.
Remarkably, my number was fully ported into Textla in under three days, and I was ready to start messaging for my organization right away. Jeremy and Colum also played key roles in accelerating the onboarding. During my brief online meeting with Colum, he confirmed the support team was already mobilized for the porting task. Despite that added coordination, the meeting wrapped in just fifteen minutes—with the account fully set up and no hiccups.

I wasted time before getting started with Textla. If I’d known how effortless the setup would be, I would’ve joined their platform much sooner

**What do you like best about Textla?**

Textla has been a fantastic addition to our SigEp Balanced Man Program and alumni communications toolkit. It was incredibly easy to set up, and their customer service team was top-notch throughout the process. I did quite a bit of research before choosing them, and I have to say, not only is the service great, but the value is unbeatable. We had a wonderful trial period and quickly saw how effective it is for staying connected with our members. Personalized texting costs twice as much—great tool, but that pricing feels too steep.

Its very easy to use the app. The features are sufficient and the option to add photos  is great for increasing engagement.

You have to pay more for longer messages. The 160 character limit is very tight to get everything in, especially if you want to put a link to your store in the messages. It eats up half the character limit.

That kind of help is rare. not only it was super fast but also it feels like they actually care and want you to succeed. The platform itself is super intuitive, but the people behind it are what really impressed me.

One downside is that a credit is used not only when sending messages, but also when receiving replies, even though the numbers are toll-free. It would be better if incoming messages didn’t count against your credits

Textla offers a smooth and efficient onboarding experience. The introductory call was short yet comprehensive, covering all aspects of the platform while answering all my questions. The platform itself is incredibly user-friendly—even for someone who isn't highly tech-savvy, I feel confident using all functionalities after just one session. Pricing is another major advantage—Textla is significantly more affordable compared to competitors, making it a fantastic option for small to medium-sized businesses. Additionally, the customer support team, especially Jeremy, was extremely helpful and professional throughout the process. The platform includes all the features we were looking for, making it a complete solution for our needs.

**What do you dislike about Textla?**

The only minor drawback I've noticed so far is the inability to attach a hyperlink to a word—I have to manually type out the full URL. While there are workarounds, adding this feature in the future would be a great enhancement for usability.

Textla has made quick communication with our customers so easy. We are able to segment our lists and send with ease! Anytime we need assistance, their customer support is there to help out! The set up was also very simple. We use the program approximately once per month for quick updates.

I do wish Textla and our current CRM were integrated with each other to not have to upload contacts in order to communicate.

Easy UI and responsive support team is what I like the best! Jake and Jeremy are awesome!

**What do you dislike about Textla?**

So for some reason we've had people who opt-out or unsubscribe still recieve messages until we manually remove them ourselves. I'm not sure why, maybe they got changed to lead instead of unsubscribed, so I take the extra step to remove invalid/opted out numbers manually before each blast. I also don't like that I can't upload multiple .csv files at once to add new contacts. When I download Elementor contacts it downloads sometimes several .csv files as a zip. Not a huge deal but it would be nice to go through the contact upload process only one time instead of repeating.

**What problems is Textla solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm a digital products & operations manager, I don't have the time or skillset to engineer an app in Twilio for marketing, nor could I train people on how to send out messages through twilio. Twilio was too complicated and confusing to me. Textla makes it so easy to send out and respond to sms blasts because of how straightforward the UI is. It was the only platform out there that had all these features I like. I also like that its JUST one subscription pricing tier and messages are billed through twilio. Other platforms had surprise fees and weird pricing tiers.

Textla is extremely easy to get up and running and its low cost is perfect for non-profit organizations like ours!

**What do you dislike about Textla?**

Well very easy to easy, some of the limitations on how you can upload CSV files regarding tags and groups add time to prep your data, but for the cost we can't complain.

We used to use email to reach our customers/supporters, but the effectiveness of email marketing has waned, and we think that Textla will help fill the gap between email and personal phone calls.

I chose Textla for its simplicity, ease of use, and its clear, transparent affordable pricing. We're a smaller business so Textla fits our needs perfectly, and does everything we need it to do. My favorite part was just how easy it was to learn how to use it and how easy it is to schedule texts, etc.

Nothing so far! At present it meets all our needs. Perhaps the only thing left to be desire is the ability to text international phone numbers.

I spent a fortune with another carrier to get "approved" for texting ... and that other place didn't help at all. Textla helped me get through the process quickly with zero pain. Interface is intuitive, not clunky like other platforms. And it integrates super easy with Zapier. I got Kajabi integrated w/ Textla in 30 minutes and am now automating reminders, plus we've seen a significant increase in engagement through text messaging.

I don't know that there's anything I dislike. It would be great if they offerred more integration options (an API for example).

I really liked the setup experience. It only took me a few minutes to go from signup to securing a phone number, to creating a campaign. I got 100 free credits as part of the experience to test out the system. The UI/UX is also pretty easy and fast.

As a software geek and GTM professional, I was very impressed with their PLG approach. It was nicely executed. I also really dig the design of the website, product, and brand. It's super fun and approachable.

I have not found anything I dislike yet. I'll report back.

Email has poor response rates and spam filters are rough these days. We're trying SMS texting for post-sales follow-ups and community marketing communication. We hope to experience better response rates and more engaged prospects and community members. As we develop our field marketing strategies which include in-person events, SMS seems to be the best way to keep community members updated while having a more real-time community channel.
