"Powerful SMS Features and CRM Without the High Price Tag"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

**Great functionality without the price tag of other platforms**

I switched to Textla after previously using a similar SMS platform that became too expensive for what I needed. So far, Textla has been a great fit.

I primarily use it for team communication and meeting reminders. My favorite features are the ability to schedule texts ahead of time, short-code opt-ins, and the CRM. The CRM isn't unnecessarily complicated—it gives me exactly what I need to organize and communicate with my contacts effectively.

I did have a slight delay getting started because additional information was needed to complete my phone number registration. It affected my original launch timeline a little, but their support team was phenomenal throughout the process and helped get everything worked out.

For me, the biggest benefit is having a professional, centralized way to communicate important updates with my team without relying on a WhatsApp or group-chat style channel. I'm only about a week in, but based on my experience so far, I would absolutely recommend it to business owners and team leaders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

Phone number verification can be a process but Support communicated well to resolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Textla: Affordable, Intuitive SMS Marketing with Essential Tools"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

Textla stands out as an exceptionally approachable SMS marketing and bulk texting platform. Based on overall user feedback and feature design, the platform's key strengths include:

* **Transparent, Low-Cost Pricing:** Textla is widely praised for its budget-friendly pricing structure. With low base plans, standard pay-per-message rates (with carrier fees included), and non-expiring credits, it’s particularly attractive for small businesses, non-profits, and teams managing focused lists.

* **Intuitive, Minimalist UI:** The interface is clean and streamlined. Uploading contacts via CSV, segmenting lists, and drafting a campaign takes just a few minutes without feeling overwhelmed by steep learning curves or complicated setup steps.

* **Essential Messaging Tools:** It focuses heavily on doing core SMS functions well—such as 2-way messaging in a shared inbox, scheduled campaigns, keyword opt-ins, automatic replies, and basic delivery tracking.

* **Responsive Support:** Users frequently point out the quality of customer support, noting direct interactions with the team during onboarding and quick chat assistance. Textla intentionally keeps its automated features lightweight and utilitarian rather than offering an all-in-one suite. The platform's automated capabilities center on core functionalities:Basic Auto-Replies & Keywords: Setting up text-to-join keywords (e.g., texting "DEALS" to a number) is seamless. The system immediately sends an automated response, tags the contact, and adds them to a specific audience group. Scheduled Broadcasts: You can easily queue messages for a specific date and time, which is helpful for drip-style announcements, time-sensitive promos, or timezone-based delivery. Automated List Hygiene: A practical feature is its built-in self-cleaning database. When a bulk send hits an invalid, disconnected, or landline number, the platform automatically flags and removes it so you don't pay for undeliverable texts on future sends. System Triggers & API Integrations: While native, complex workflows are limited, basic transactional automation (like order updates or event confirmations) can be triggered externally by connecting Textla’s API to other platforms Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

While Textla is popular for its simplicity and transparent pricing, users and reviewers commonly point out a few key drawbacks:

No Native Mobile App: One of the most frequent complaints is the lack of a dedicated iOS or Android app. Teams who need to manage their inbox or send updates on the go have to use a mobile web browser, which isn't as seamless as a native app experience.

Feature Gating on Lower Tiers: Scheduled and recurring campaigns are locked behind the higher-tier Professional plan. If you are on the basic Starter plan, you are generally limited to manual blasts.

Limited Automation Workflows: Textla focuses on simple bulk sends and basic auto-responders. It lacks complex visual drip campaigns, multi-step automation sequences, or branch-logic workflows found in platforms like Klaviyo or SimpleTexting.

Basic Integrations & API: It offers fewer native integrations with popular CRMs or e-commerce platforms compared to larger competitors, making it harder to trigger texts based on complex customer behaviors automatically.

Higher Cost at Scale: While the low base subscription makes it cheap for small senders, the flat per-message fees mean that once you cross roughly 20,000–25,000 texts per month, high-volume alternative platforms often become more cost-effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Textla Makes SMS Campaigns Simple and Effective"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

I’ve had a really good experience using Textla. We manage a pretty large contact database, and being able to organize our contacts and send out SMS campaigns without making the process complicated has been extremely helpful. It’s easy to learn, gets the job done, and has become something we regularly use in our marketing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

I don't really have a dislike. I am completely satisfied with the service. Affordability is key though. I am limited as a small company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Efficient Messaging Platform with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

I really appreciate Textla for its simplicity and reliability. It's easy to use, and messages are delivered quickly. The platform makes communicating with leads efficient and hassle-free. Textla saves me a lot of time by making it easy to send and manage messages all in one place. Its reliable nature means I can count on messages being delivered promptly, and the simple interface lets me focus on communicating with customers instead of figuring out the platform. The initial setup was smooth and straightforward, with an intuitive interface that required minimal training for my team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

One improvement I'd like to see is more detailed reporting and analytics, such as message delivery insights and response tracking. It would also be helpful if the platform had more advanced contact management and automation features to make large-scale messaging even more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Affordable SMS Service with Seamless Setup"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

I love how simple Textla is to use, making it incredibly easy to get started. It's one of the cheapest SMS services out there, which is great for staying within budget. Plus, Textla solves the problem of ensuring people see our events and meeting updates by allowing us to reach out via text messages instead of emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

The only thing I think that could be improved is being more clear before you actually buy the service what the prices are. Right now, you have to read between the lines to figure out what the price is. It's $25 a month monthly or $19 a month yearly, and then it's $0.01 per text sent after you join the monthly fee. "Efficient Promotion with Textla, Needs Subscriber Control"
5/5
What do you like best about Textla?

I especially like Textla's keyword function for getting new subscribers. It makes it easy for people to sign up for texts, especially by linking the keyword to a QR Code. The initial setup was incredibly easy. I find sending texts with Textla ensures my followers see what I am promoting, unlike social media. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Textla?

I wish there was a way to shut off incoming texts from existing subscribers who don't understand that sending a 'thumbs up' emoji eats up my credits. Maybe having a toggle to turn off incoming messages from existing subscribers? That way, new subscribers can still message with the keyword to sign up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
