So quick & friendly whenever you need help! **What do you dislike about Tettra?** I dislike the speed of the program at times. Sometimes if I am running more than just this application, like a different internet browser, it will slow down my entire computer. **Recommendations to others considering Tettra:** Make the speed of the program faster to avoid freezes! **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have realized how much easier it is to make things electronic, instead of pen and paper like I used to do. ### 2. We are way more organized and systematic now. **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use a few different platforms for storing information and files: github, google docs, sugar sync, etc. Having Tettra provides a central location for figuring out what is where without spending time searching around for it. Even those platforms themselves tend to get disorganized easily, so having a central page for each type of information is great. ### 3. When people have questions about things like our vacation policy, benefits, or even where the printers and scanners are in the building and how to set them up with your laptop, it's really nice to have one centralized location to point people to. Plus, I love the organizational structure of the tool and how easy it is to navigate around! The search bar is my favorite for when I'm not sure where something lives. **What do you dislike about Tettra?** I haven't run into anything I dislike about Tettra yet! Keep up the great work. **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Tettra at my company for internal documentation for teams and for the business at large. It's made it really easy to keep all of our information in a place that lives on, so that if someone leaves the company or if someone has a question and you don't know the answer, you can always point them to Tettra. ### 5. I got to use it extensively at my previous company to create documentation for my team, and it was a breeze for anyone to create and share something. Whenever anyone had a question, they knew exactly where to look first, Tettra. **What do you dislike about Tettra?** I can't say I had a bad experience, but I will say that for smaller teams Tettra might not be a great fit. My experience was a company of 50-100 which was a perfect size. But, for a small business, they might be able to get by without Tettra. **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** The main problem we solved was creating a knowledge base for our team so that people knew where to turn when they had a question. Previously, this was scattered through google docs, emails, slack messages, etc. Tettra helped us get organized as a team and have a destination for new hires to go when they have any questions. ### 6. There is no option to create a folder within a folder, which can help others navigate the resources in the library. **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefits of Tettra is that it helps people document their knowledge for the entire company. ### 8. Especially good for CS teams as we can document workarounds/resolutions to common problems **What do you dislike about Tettra?** Tettra "Daily Digest" being turned on by default - nobody wants that much email from a knowledge sharing service. Sure, having metrics of what's used most is cool but there are better ways to communicate that data **Recommendations to others considering Tettra:** Check out other programs like it as well and make sure this one works best for your needs **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helps with onboarding, is a quick reference for basic questions. You get back what you put in to this system so you have to actively add to it to make it worthwhile ### 9. We use Tettra to replace Google Docs for any policy/procedure documentation. It's easy to add media in addition to narrative, increasing the usability and value of the product. Great for on-boarding and knowledge-sharing within and across departments. **What problems is Tettra solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a fully remote team that communicates primarily through Slack. But you can also search any word or content page no matter in which folder or category they are in. It is also connected to Slack so it is such a rich resource when communicating and offering solutions within company staff and also sharing with clients. **What do you dislike about Tettra?** I do not like that some transfer of information is manual. **Recommendations to others considering Tettra:** Definitely great to use with Slack and connecting pages created as comments when messaging is awesome. Makes life and communication easier once you have all the details within Tettra.
