**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

What I appreciate most about Talkroute is how straightforward it is to use. Setting up extensions and greetings was quick and didn’t take much effort. The mobile app has been reliable for me, and notifications come through promptly. It’s also easy to track missed calls and follow up without delay. I especially like that everyone can use their own phones while still showing up under a single business number.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

The desktop app occasionally takes a little while to load.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talkroute gives us a centralized phone system without having to invest in expensive equipment. It’s helped us respond more quickly and present a more organized, professional experience to customers. Overall, it has made our communication much easier to manage and keep on track.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

I really appreciate how straightforward the voicemail system is. Having my messages transcribed and delivered to my email allows me to easily forward them to the appropriate staff member, eliminating the need to listen and manually write everything down. This feature saves me a significant amount of time each day.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

The selection of hold music is somewhat limited. It would be great if we could upload our own custom audio files, such as company announcements.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

with our old system, messages often went missing or remained unattended for hours whenever someone was out of the office. It created a lot of confusion. Now, every message and call is logged and tracked, allowing me to make sure that nothing slips through the cracks. As a result, our clients receive follow-ups much more quickly.

We used grasshopper before. The call quality in Talkroute is much better than hat we used before. The setup structure is very easy. Now I set up a call menu in just ten minutes. Everything feels straightforward and not confusing. In Talkroute there is no chunkiness which we felt in grasshopper.

I would appreciate having additional options for call tracking and reporting.

Previously, we struggled with dropped calls and slow responses from support. Since switching to talkroute, our calls have become reliable, and customers are always able to reach me. This has made a positive difference for our business.

The monthly cost fits my budget and I like that I can use my existing phone instead of buying new equipment and it's straightforward and doesn't have a bunch of features I'll never use. Just simple call forwarding and voicemail

Calling is unlimited for US/Canada, so my costs are staying low and my personal number is not shared with everyone, which is a nice thing. Sms messaging with email notifications is great for quick responses

Sometimes the screen sharing can lag but usable most of the time

We were denied use of the product without valid cause. Our disabled team member is looking for a pc-based phone solution.

Rude, incomptent, and illegally charged our card immediately despite clearly stating it would not be charged until after a 7 day trial.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

As an online e-commerce business, it's extremely important for us to be able to answer and respond to customer inquiries regardless of where our team members are located at a given moment.  There are times we are in the office, at the warehouse, or on the road attending a tradeshow. Before we had to allow these sales leads to go to voicemail or have someone take a message for a call back resulting in loss of business. With Talkroute we now have the freedom to be able to answer customer calls wherever we are and close more sales.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

Nothing so far. If I was being super picky, I would like a way to change the routing schedules from the mobile apps. Currently this is only available on web and desktop.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Talkroute is making it possible for us to close more sales on the spot by not first sending callers to voicemail or to our answering service. We have seen a real increase in our revenue from this alone.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

When the service works it runs great. however, their system drops calls daily and is inconsistent creating a negative impact on our own clients. For a phone service that promotes consistent reliable service, we have not had that experience since we started. We currently have a trouble ticket that has been unresolved since March and their development team is unable to provide an estimate as to when it will be completed. 

When working with their customer service they ask for more and more data to be sent to them, with no positive results resulting from our legwork. We were informed that "No other clients have these issues, such as dropped calls or disconnections from their network. You (our company) are an isolated issue and Talkroute does not want to risk jeopardizing their large accounts stability to try to solve our issues."

If you are a small business owner I would highly suggest finding another company that shows they care about their clients no matter how small or large they are.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

Drops multiple calls daily from various user profiles and devices that include: Various Apple Devices, Windows/PC, their web app, their desktop app, and their cell phone app. 

When addressed the IT department asks for redundant information from the client on a regular basis. Such as what devices are we using, our IP addresses and call logs.  When pressed they say that all these items they are unable to track from their end even though their system connects to and monitors all those systems.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since March they have been trying to find out why their services disconnect midcall and then reconnect moments later. This would make sense if we were all using the same internet provider or network, however, our team is spread between three centers and two home addresses. So a mass drop in services cannot be explained by "poor internet services" as they claim.

Our tech company has been using Talkroute for over 4 years. We rarely have an issue, but if we do, their chat support is outstanding! At any given time, I've been met with an immediate response and have always left with a resolution. 

I could not be happier.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

No major cons to report. There have been times when a call may drop for no apparent reason, but there are variety reasons at play not related to Talkroute i.e. reception.

They've made it easy to sign up, establish a business line and get going. The ease of access to upgrade plans as needed is excellent. Our business has saved money by going with Talkroute

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

We have been using Talkroute at our real estate office for the past 2 years and it has been excellent! We use Talkroute for a bunch of daily operations but the most valuable features have definitely been the ability to route incoming calls to our team member's  cell phones and the ability to register multiple phone numbers for our various marketing campaigns. Their support team is always extremely helpful and willing to assist us with any questions.

Over the past few years, we haven't had any noticeable issues with our service. We would love to see them add fax capability and according to their support team, they are planning to add it.

Talkroute has completely solved our call routing for our onsite team and those that are working remotely in the field. It really has been a game-changer!

We needed a way to provide telemental health services to our patients. The combination of Talkroute's phone and video conferencing features has made this possible for us to achieve!

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

Nothing so far! If I could recommend one improvement, it would be to make it easier to transition from a call to a video conference but this rarely is an issue.

Giving us a method of communicating and staying in touch with patients that are unable or would prefer not to come to our offices for appointments that don't require their physical presence.

It is an internet based platform, it is easy to use and I can set up extensions and voicemail boxes remotely

Currently having serious issues with texting- as in, not able to send texts. This is one of the primary ways I remind patients of their appointments

Currently talkroute has not solved the problem, and is relying on its local contractor to rectify the situation

It's simple to use, the pricing is reasonable, and support is always helpful when I have a question.

Sometimes there are minor bugs with the desktop application, but they release updates to fix this often which is nice.

Talkroute provides a functional phone system for business, I've used other big names and they don't work correctly. I have not had a single problem with Talkroute service since I started using them over a year ago.

Talkroute has been a game changer when it comes to getting inbound calls to our sales team. The ability to utilize our existing smartphones with this service has been incredibly valuable.

So far there is really nothing to complain about. We are very happy with our service.

The customer service is excellent. They have been patient over many sessions in order to customize the service to suit our needs.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

So far, I cannot think of any, except that perhaps you are dependent on the quality of your own phone to support the service.

**Recommendations to others considering Talkroute:**

Check them out. You can have multiple people in different locations using their own cellphones as a host to run a business, you can have menus that come on for calls directing them to the correct service, you can port your older phone number for a smooth transition.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It took us a while to understand the nuances of the incredible flexibility in their system, and sometimes we waited 2 days for a tech service session, but we are very pleased with the service, and our system is now functioning in the way that suits our needs.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

TalkRoute's customer service was very responsive for me, yet low-key just the way I like it! To be honest, I didn't need much from support. The platform out of the box did most everything I needed. The one complex "architecting" of my phone system that I wanted to do was supported well, and Talkroute provided me with an alternative solution to help me meet my expectation (and they reconfigured everything for me), with a promise to develop my requested feature too! Plus, their willingness to "remedy the situation" was freely given, which made me feel appreciated as a customer.

Key points:

1. Super-affordable
2. All-inclusive (fair-usage) pricing
3. Easy to use interface
4. Brilliant customer and billing support

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

Nothing to dislike really... I do have a wish list of features, but as a starting platform, I have everything I need today to operate my businesses smoothly and efficiently. The things that I would like to have included:

1. Multiple call menus that can individually be assigned to each phone number attached to an account, or
2. A way to log in and switch between multiple accounts
3. An automated text to speech conversion tool with natural sounding voice (and an optional music overlay) to expedite the creation of menus and recordings - that would be so cool and handy to have!

I haven't yet configured voicemail to e-mail transcripts, but I'm looking forward to having the feature channeling opportunities towards me! Also, I think the phone numbers are "textable", so I'm keen to find out what that is and how I can make it work for me as well!

Plus, my phone numbers are really, REALLY cool! :)

I'm just at the pre-launch stage with my brands, but our phone lines do not worry me. We have the professional edge to help us connect with our customers, and offer a full service effortlessly from anywhere.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

The user interface is seamless and the price points are great for the entry level needs. They give you all the premium features that the competition is selling. The call stacking is another area that I love. It is something that is not available in the industry for such a price. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of the team to create such a tool.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

I have not been able to receive calls directly on the app. The call is always routed through the phone numbers that I have included. When will the app be able to receive calls too?

**Recommendations to others considering Talkroute:**

Get in now as the price may go up as demand increases

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Routing calls to the office when we are open, to other numbers when we are closed and to cell phone or google number when the terrestrial lines are down due to outages. The problems we are solving include being able to route our calls irrespective of the time of the day or the number that they have called. We are also sending text messages with the same number that the clients are calling us with which makes it seem like mobile device to them, with all the convenience.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

My staff and I are in constant contact with our clients and it has always been a struggle to keep personal numbers private. Our solution prior to using talkroute was to carry two phones which was very inconvenient. Now I can simply launch the talkroute app and speak with my clients via text or voice with our office number. This has eliminated the need for my second phone and I can run everything from my personal iPhone. 

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

There currently isn’t support for faxing and it would be nice to move our fax line to talkroute so we can completely cut the cord with our phone company. I have been told faxing is coming later this year. 

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The most obvious benefit has been the elimination of all of our staff’s secondary phones. Not only is have two phones not ideal but the costs that come with providing a second phone to every team member is quite high. We will save hundreds of dollars per year.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

First and foremost, as a NPO, you are always very budget conscious and pricing can really dictate whether or not your organization will be able to utilize a particular product or service, regardless of how great it is or not.

We knew we wanted to avoid purely VoIP based services due to poor call quality concerns but I also knew that the VoIP alternatives out there are usually much more expensive. I was pleasantly surprised to discover talkroute and their extremely reasonable pricing. Not only was the base pricing very fair but they gave our NPO an additional 20% off of our monthly plan.

The features and service is great but the fact that they seem to understand the financial needs of most small NPOs is my primary reason for going with talkroute and recommending them to all of my colleagues.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

I would really like to see call recording added to this service. I have been told that it is coming this year and it would be extremely beneficial so that we can go back and review how our staff is interacting with our callers. 

We host a prayer call-in number with talkroute and being able to review those calls would be very helpful to ensure we are providing the best care possible.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All of the features are great but the biggest benefit we have seen is the ability to allow our staff to be able to take and return calls from their cell phones. I honestly don’t know how we would go back to taking calls at our desks and hope we never have to!

This solution is quick and simply to use. We selected a number and had the entire account setup in less than an hour. The mobile app is great. I really love being being able to make outgoing calls and send text messages from our business number. There are tons of great features available that I’m admittedly not using right now because I’m still very small but it’s nice know they are there for when my company grows. 

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

I run more than one business and it would be nice if you could easily jump between several accounts on the mobile app. I brought this concern up to their support and they were very understanding and also said it is something that they are working on. So I’m looking forward to that update. 

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My goal was pretty simple; to get a business number and be able to make and receive business calls and texts from my iPhone. Talkroute does exactly that and it is has been great not having to worry about missing calls when I’m away from my office.

If you are managing property listings, this service is an absolute life saver. We now have a single phone number and provide extension codes for each of our properties. When a prospective buyer sees a property they like, the just call our number and enter the code and immediately get property details and can even stay on the line to speak with one of our buyer specialists that is assigned to that property. I can’t say enough about how awesome this solution has been for our small office. Oh and the pricing is extremely reasonable. I was expecting hidden fees and taxes but I’m happy to report we have seen none of those.

So far it has worked perfectly. I would like to see call recording added as they don’t offer it right now.

Our leads from our signage for our listings have nearly doubled by implementing this extremely simple solution. I just wish we would have done something like this sooner.

Talkroute's first use was to increase call deflection, as phone call inquiries are the most expensive to handle. Setting up a menu structure which could play recorded scripts answering common questions, helpful to reduce # of basic inquiries.

At least here in Canada, I've had difficulty in getting the text message features to work properly.

We still need phone numbers in this day and age, so it enables us to provide this channel but not have to staff a full time resource to answer a phone.

Our newfound freedom. For years my team and I have been prisoners at our desks stuck answering calls on old school desk phones. Now that we made the switch to Talkroute we run everything from our smartphones and far more efficiently. Now I can follow up with my clients while on the go. Priceless.

I know faxing is old news but we still use it when dealing with some of our partners. It would be great to see inbound and outbound faxing added in the future.

We had an incredibly antiquated phone system in our office that was from the previous century... Talkroute has improved our communications in just about every way possible.

This service has tons of great features but the ability to create a menu system that gives callers options that play information messages has been incredibly valuable to our business. We were getting numerous calls on a daily basis asking us what time we were open until, how they could reserve a personal trainer, etc... By creating options for each of these categories that plays a custom greeting with the appropriate information, we were able to eliminate calls and spend more time answering the calls that mattered.

Nothing. It's pretty much perfect for our needs.

It's been a huge benefit being able to focus on the calls that we need to be taking and allowing the phone system to handle the calls that don't require a live person.

**What do you like best about Talkroute?**

Let’s be honest. Most of these virtual phone services are pretty similar but Talkroute was the only one we found that offered HIPAA compliance and a Business Associate Agreement (BAA). This was absolutely essential for us to deploy this type of solution in our office. Their custom support was also amazing about getting us everything we needed the same day. Pricing was also excellent.

**What do you dislike about Talkroute?**

This is not really the fault of Talkroute but it’s unfortunate that the email notifications for voicemail messages are not HIPAA compliant so they are disabled on our account because we could see this being a very beneficial feature.

**What problems is Talkroute solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are now able to send calls to our doctor’s cell phones when they are on call based on a set schedule. This simple change has already been such a blessing to our team.

We were able to get the perfect toll free number for our sales team up and running instantly. Call quality is excellent and the mobile app is easy to use.

So far we really haven’t ran into any major issues with Talkroute. My only recommendation would be a way to change the scheduled forwarding from the mobile app.

Our sales team is out in the field and would constantly miss sales calls that would come into the office. Now the calls are routed to their cell phones and they can easily call back clients from the mobile app and show the business number.
