**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

The best part about Tackle is how it abstracts the complexity of the AWS ACE integration, allowing our team to manage the entire co-sell lifecycle directly within Salesforce. It has transformed a manual, portal-heavy process into a seamless workflow that has significantly increased our deal velocity and rep adoption.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

The platform can have a bit of a learning curve, particularly when it comes to mastering the more complex reporting features and dashboard customizations. Additionally, because the hyperscalers update their APIs so frequently, there can occasionally be a slight lag in documentation or feature parity across different cloud providers.

Tackle solves the friction of manual data entry and portal hopping by automating the sync between AWS Partner Central and our CRM. It's not just that the platform itself is amazing; the team that are building it are also amazing. I'm not sure I've ever experienced the support we get from Tackle with any other provider. It's just out of this world, good.

Honestly, not a lot. If anything, the main constraints are the cloud marketplaces themselves, not Tackle.

Tackle is helping us get to scale our motions on AWS and GCP marketplaces. It's still early days, and we have still so much to do and learn, but Tackle is there with us every step of the way.

**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

I have been using the Tackle Cloud GTM Platform for about 18 months now as we scale our AWS Marketplace business, and the big thing for me has been how it brings all the functionality you need, together, in a far more user friendly way than using the AWS tools directly.

The ability to manage Private Offers, check the propensity to buy of your prospects, manage your co-sell opportunities and report on everything including your disbursements, all in the same easy to use platform, has been invaluable. The fact that it can all then be integrated and managed through Salesforce, if that's how you wish to manage it, brings another layer of simplicity into play.

This platform, however, is backed up by an incredibly knowledgable and helpful team, who are always willing to go above and beyond to assist in so many different scenarios, and this level of customer support is what makes Tackle stand out even more.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

Some of the reporting isn't as intuitive as it could be, but other than that there isn't a lot to dislike that I have come across yet

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform, and the Tackle team as a whole, is really helping build our AWS Marketplace GTM motion. In the early stages of this build we could not have done this without the the knowledge and help from this team, leveraging the platform in the process

**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

I have spent the past five years working on go-to-market strategies and co-selling initiatives with the major hyperscalers—AWS, Microsoft, and Google. Throughout that time, Tackle has greatly streamlined the process and saved me a considerable amount of time. Having the ability to manage the entire workflow within a single platform, rather than navigating multiple tools, has been invaluable. The added capability to manage most, if not all, of the process directly within Salesforce has been a true game changer in my day-to-day work.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

I believe this is less an issue with Tackle and more a reflection of the varying capabilities offered by the hyperscalers themselves. There is not always complete parity across the different marketplaces. However, it appears that when new features are introduced by the hyperscalers, Tackle makes them available either immediately or shortly thereafter.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The primary challenge Tackle has solved for me is providing a single platform to manage the entire co-sell and go-to-market process with the hyperscalers. I can now oversee every stage in one place—from deal registration and scheduling co-sell interactions to creating private offers and closing out deals.

Tackle makes it incredibly easy to launch, scale, and manage our cloud marketplace presence without requiring heavy engineering resources. The platform streamlines the listing process, simplifies co-selling with cloud providers, and provides excellent insights that help accelerate deals. The onboarding support and customer success team are also fantastic, they’ve been true partners in our cloud GTM journey. I can always count on them to support new feature requests, strategic best practices and overall adoption.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

Overall, the experience has been very positive. If I had to point out one area, it would be that there’s a bit of a learning curve in understanding all of the reporting and dashboards and reconciliation needs. That said, once you get familiar with it, the insights are valuable.

Tackle removes the complexity of selling through cloud marketplaces. Without it, setting up listings, managing transactions, and keeping up with cloud provider requirements would be time consuming and resource heavy. With Tackle, we can get to market quickly, reach new customers, and close deals faster. It has also helped us strengthen relationships with the cloud providers, which drives bigger opportunities and higher visibility.

I am a 3 time Tackle customer and have recommended them to numerous peers.  Their solution helps each of our teams more easily manage our Cloud marketplace requirements.  APIs to reduce technical debt, a single view for finance, as well as ease of creating and tracking private offers -  for both Ops and Sales.  The training they offer on marketplaces and how to educate your sellers to include marketplace in their talk track is also invaluable for organizations just getting started. The value proposition of Tackle applies to companies of any size.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

Tackle is constantly updating their platform to stay in sync with new features from each of the marketplaces.  This constant iteration can sometimes cause documentation to be out of date.  It isn't often a problem and usually is quickly resolved by a call with support.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tackle eliminates the tech debt associated with marketplace listings which is a significant help as a start-up needing to keep our engineers focused on our core product.  It also helps finance more easily track orders and payments across multiple marketplaces.

**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

As a cybersecurity company, our sales process can be complex. Tackle has been instrumental in simplifying our cloud go-to-market strategy. The platform's integration with Salesforce is seamless and has been a game-changer for our sales team. We can manage our prospects propensity to buy (Tackle Prospect) in Marketplace and co-sell opportunities all within the familiar Salesforce environment. Setup was easy in the Tackle Platform where all the mappings took place and I can manage all my marketplace listings, users, settings and integrations. This has significantly reduced the learning curve and increased adoption across the team.

The co-sell automation is another standout feature. It has streamlined how we share and track opportunities with our cloud partners, saving us a tremendous amount of manual effort on a 1 person team. The "Likelihood to Procure" scores in Tackle Prospect have also been incredibly valuable, allowing us to focus our efforts on the leads that are most likely to convert through the marketplace.

Finally, the customer support from Tackle has been top-notch. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and have been a true partner in our success.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

While the platform is generally very intuitive, the initial setup and configuration of the Salesforce integration required a bit of a learning curve since we were new to Salesforce and had to setup our Salesforce instance first. It's a powerful integration, and once we had our side figured out the Tackle piece was plug-and-play, but it's something to be aware of if you need to setup your salesforce first. In all this was a challenge on our side and not on theirs. The only thing better would be if SFDC helped us get aligned for Cloud GTM from the onset with Tackle in mind.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tackle is solving several key problems for us:

Sales Process Friction: Before Tackle, managing marketplace and co-sell opportunities was a manual and time-consuming process that lived outside of our CRM. Then we used the ACE native integration from AWS which required us to hire a consultancy to set everything up and that took time and a learning curve, not to mention it was a terrible mess to undo so that SFDC could function with any changes we had to make to it. Everytime we changed fields something broke.  Now, it's all integrated into our new and clean Salesforce, which has created a much more efficient workflow for our sales team.

Lack of Insight into Cloud Buyers: We didn't have a clear way to identify which of our prospects were most likely to purchase our solutions through the cloud marketplaces. Tackle Prospect has given us that visibility, allowing us to be much more strategic in our sales outreach.

Co-sell Complexity: The process of sharing and tracking co-sell opportunities with our cloud partners was cumbersome and prone to error. Tackle has automated this process, which has not only saved us time but has also strengthened our relationships with our partners.

Overall, Tackle has helped us accelerate our cloud sales, improve our sales efficiency, and strengthen our partner relationships. It's a critical part of our cloud GTM strategy, and I would highly recommend it to any B2B SaaS company that is serious about selling through the cloud as easy as possible.

**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

What I appreciate most about the Tackle Cloud GTM Platform is how it simplifies and unifies the complexity of selling across cloud marketplaces. It’s not just a tool—it’s a strategic enabler for our business.

One of the biggest game-changers has been the intuitive UI that works seamlessly across multiple hyperscalers. My teams no longer have to wrestle with the backend systems of AWS or Azure. Instead of learning multiple platforms to build listings, share offers, or track payments and contract statuses, they can operate within one unified experience. That alone saves us time, training overhead, and frustration—and it lets us scale faster across marketplaces without increasing operational complexity.

We use this platform every day for co-sell, offer management, and reporting, which speaks to how central it is to our cloud GTM operations.

On top of that, Tackle’s insights and data are incredibly valuable. Knowing which customers prefer which cloud marketplace is a huge advantage for our sales and GTM teams. Instead of casting a wide net, we can focus our efforts on high-propensity-to-buy customers and guide them through purchasing via their preferred marketplace, whether that’s AWS or Azure. That level of targeting has helped us increase close rates and better align with how our customers want to buy.

And I can’t say enough about the Tackle Coaches and Support team. The Coaches provide proactive guidance and best practices that help us avoid issues before they even arise. When problems do pop up, the Support team is incredibly responsive—we often get answers in minutes, not days. That kind of partnership and expertise has been essential to our success.

Tackle makes cloud marketplaces work for us—not the other way around.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

One area where I see real opportunity for improvement is support for non-SaaS offerings like Professional Services across all cloud marketplaces. These services are a critical part of how we deliver value—whether through onboarding, implementation, or long-term consulting—and they represent meaningful revenue that we want to transact through the marketplaces.

Today, because Tackle doesn’t fully support Professional Services, I’m forced to use multiple systems to manage what should be a unified process. I have to go outside of Tackle to create listings, build and send offers, and access disbursement or payment reports. This creates unnecessary friction and breaks the otherwise seamless workflow Tackle enables for our SaaS products.

Given how easy and well-designed everything Tackle does is, I’m confident that if they turned on support for non-SaaS offerings, implementation and ongoing use would be just as straightforward. Bringing Professional Services into the core Tackle experience would significantly enhance their value proposition. It would allow my team to operate entirely within the Tackle UI for all cloud marketplace activity—SaaS and non-SaaS—eliminating context-switching and manual work. That level of integration would make Tackle a true end-to-end platform for how we go to market through cloud marketplaces.

Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solves the complexity and fragmentation of selling software through multiple cloud marketplaces. Before Tackle, managing listings, offers, contracts, and payments across AWS, Azure, and other hyperscalers meant juggling different portals and processes, which was time-consuming, error-prone, and hard to scale.

Tackle unifies all these activities into a single, intuitive platform that my teams use every day for co-sell, offer management, and reporting. This drastically reduces operational overhead, eliminates manual errors, and accelerates our ability to launch and optimize marketplace listings.

Beyond just unification, Tackle also fills the gaps that cloud marketplaces haven’t addressed yet. For example, the platform provides better communication and visibility into customer interactions—we can see when a customer has opened, viewed, or accepted an offer, which significantly improves the buying experience and lets us respond faster. This kind of insight isn’t typically available directly from the marketplaces themselves.

Moreover, Tackle brings consistent features and capabilities across all marketplaces, so we don’t have to deal with the inconsistencies and limitations of each provider’s portal. This harmonization helps our teams operate more efficiently and deliver a consistent experience to customers regardless of their preferred marketplace.

Finally, Tackle’s data-driven insights help us identify which customers prefer which marketplaces, enabling us to focus our efforts on high-propensity buyers and tailor our GTM strategies accordingly. **What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

We use the Tackle platform everyday to simplify all areas of our cloud GTM actions.  With a small global team we have been able to scale our co-sell and marketplace initiatives far beyond our in house capabilities.  The speed and ease of integrating the platform allowed us to see a very quick return on investment.  Once in place implementing the processes across our teams were easier and faster than we have seen with our own processes.  

Ease of Use: The platform provides an intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies the entire process of listing and managing products on cloud marketplaces. From creating private offers to tracking transactions, the dashboard makes complex tasks feel manageable.

Speed to Market: Tackle's streamlined workflow and deep integration with cloud providers allow us to get our products listed and transact quickly. What would have taken months to figure out on our own was accomplished in a matter of weeks with their guidance.

Expert Support: The team at Tackle.io is a major asset. They are knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in our success. Their expertise in cloud marketplace strategies and best practices has been invaluable.

I would like to see more detailed reporting but I am aware that Tackle is already working on this.

Tackle has streamlined our co-sell and marketplace offer creation processes significantly.  We have taken processes that would take 20 minutes down to under 5 minutes, saving significant administrative time.  This has allowed us to focus on gaining value from our co-sell partnership with AWS versus clicking buttons and updating the ACE platform.

It’s easy to use, fast to implement and does exactly what we hoped in integrating our sales platform into it. But the real standout is the Tackle team—their knowledge, support, and advice are second to none. They don’t just provide a tool, they act as a true partner in helping us succeed on the marketplaces.

Over the past several 5+ I’ve used Tackle to streamline our cloud go-to-market strategies and to enable co-selling with the Hyperscalers. They simplify marketplace listings and private offers, and we use them extensively.  I've also found them to be extremely responsive, and  I often recommend Tackle to colleagues.

Overall, the experience has been very positive.  I would like to see MACC scores in their interface, and I understand that may be in progress.

The Tackle team takes customer feedback and uses it to improve the platform, helping users work more effectively. I really like that I can create private offers straight from Salesforce. This not only makes the process more efficient but also ensures a smoother, more logical end-to-end journey for the user, all while minimizing mistakes.

As co-selling with AWS, GCP, and Azure continues to grow, so does Tackle's support for it. The auto-create and close feature will be a huge benefit for any customer, helping them maintain a clean pipeline with the hyperscalers. Overall, the platform is intuitive, and Tackle makes sure its customers are enabled for success.

I used Tackle for the last four years, in several roles, across two companies. They were one of the first Cloud GTM platforms to come market and as such are deeply entrenched with the various cloud providers, their operations/processes/procedures, and are have a wealth of knowledge. I find the platform to be easy to use and their customer support is great.

As with any software product, there are little issues with UX/UI, but I have found the Tackle team to be receptive to feedback and often see previous suggestions incorporated into new software versions.

The most helpful aspect of of the platform is the ease of use and implementation within our Salesforce system. We have fully integrated it into our sales process and it has helped our sellers easily transfer information to our cloud providers.

Although we adapt to change, one of the downsides of using the product are the update changes that Tackle has done over the year. One change in particular affected a specific data source that we found valuable in our sales reporting.

The platform solved the goal of integrating our private offer creation process with the integration within our sales tools and our cloud marketplace providers. This is a tremendous benefit because we no longer need to different systems and our operations team has added this resource to their purchase creation process.

The Tackle downstream app is clean and relatively intuitive to use. The integration is pretty powerful, but definitely needs to be configured properly by your Salesforce integration team which is not trivial. If you are selling on multiple cloud marketplaces (e.g. both AWS and Azure) then picking Tackle is the no-brainer.

Tackle is pretty expensive, and if you are only selling on one cloud marketplace you might be better off with one of the competitors.

We use the Co-Sell integration for pushing opportunities into ACE, and updating them as they progress. We use the Data integration to prioritize our GTM efforts. We use Offers directly in their webapp (not via integration to Salesforce).

Without any need for spreadsheets, we're able to create a co-sell on Opportunties via the Oportunity list in Salesforce, hundreds of deals at a time. And that co-sell record shares the deal with AWS. AWS are amazed how on top of our co-sell deals we are. And best of all Tackle is the same platform we use to list on Amazon marketplace. We like the Propesity scores that indicate the propensity to buy via AWS which guides us to focus on the highest likelihood deals. It's easy to use and easy to implement. Tackle support are incredible, very responsive.

Nothing really, it's the AWS ACE platform and it's immarturity that cause minor headaches. But the intermediary Tackle connector protects us from much of ACE's idiosyncrasies.

The Tackle platform makes it easy for us to transact with multiple cloud providers via one platform.  And once an offer is made to a partner (via CPPO) or to a customer (via PO), we receive updates on each step taken.  It makes it seamless for every member of our team to know where we are in the transaction process.  The Customer Support is also incredibly responsive and helpful.  Finally, integrating and implementing Tackle was a breeze and saved our engineering staff tons of time and cycles.

The Tackle Team is great about staying on top of the new features that get added by the hyperscalers and quickly enables their platform to offer that feature to its users.

The Tackle team is helpful getting listings up and getting the motion in place for small ISVs looking to transact on a cloud marketplace. Lots of resources and guides to help get started with building these partnerships. The onboarding teams are SUPER helpful and very responsive.

No longer having CSMs makes it a bit of a challenge to get answers. Everything goes through the support channel which can be a bottle neck when trying to close deals or get orders out the door in a timely manner.

When we were running our own Cloud Marketplace strategy we ran into issues working across departments because we did things differently from Azure to AWS. With Tackle.io, regardless of hypercaler, we transact in a similar manner with the same set of triggers that go to the appropriate teams, creating a smooth operational experience. We are in the final stages of launching the Tackle.io Co-Sell Application into production and this will save people from various departments hours a week previously spent sharing deals, adding contacts, updating pipleine, etc. Our next step will be to integrate Tackle.io Prospect to show PtoB data at the account level across our organization. This will help our sellers more confidently plan regional prospects by hyperscaler and drive procurement through the Marketplace.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

Although they provide support as we connect, test and launch different pieces of the Cloud GTM platform, it would be nice if they could put hands on keyboard for some of it without an additional cost to us.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tackle.io provided us a platform that allows us to do Marketplace/Co-Sell business with both Microsoft and AWS in the same pane of glass. We went from Marketplace novice to pro in just a mater of weeks and we are confident in our ability to handle the anticipated volume of MPPO's (Marketplace Private Offers) as we scale. The abilitiy to share/update deals directly from Salesforce and have the subseqent data show up in ACE/Salesforce is a huge time saver for everyone across alliances. No one in Alliances enjoys the manual admin work but it's important for our partnership and now with Tackle it will no longer be a burden. Also, the Analytics for both hyperscalers in one place makes life a lot easier at the end of each quarter.

The Tackle platform takes the complexity of working with multiple CSP marketplaces and simplifies that into a single platform with a single view of a very challenging process. The reporting functions are getting better and are becoming more valuable to our team.

Tackle is subject to the same pain points as any marketplace partner, things change so much and at times the platform does not have all the features/functionality changes made by the cloud providers on day-one. This is not necessairly a Tackle issue but one where more coordination may be needed between Tackle and the cloud providers to make sure they are aware of roadmap/feature changes.

In the past, the pricing model was a challenge but recent changes have more aligned with how the CSP marketplaces operate and are more acceptable to a software vendor.

Tackle delivers an impactful, easy to use  implementation plan which helps everyday users become familiar with the platform quickly. Tackle's console is easy to integrate  and provides intuitive MP deal lifecycle management in an audit friendly format that is easy to "plug in" across ops, sales, finance and alliance teams for immediate use.

You are never set adrift to figure things out for yourself.

I've been actively using the Tackle platform for over a year now (across two cloud marketplaces) and have yet to find a single thing to dislike.  And it continues to evolve in positive ways that I didn't know I needed until I had them.

Really good product, there's nothing I can think of, but maybe the processes could be simplified a bit, but other than that, great tool from all aspects.

If you want to save time and effort, I suggest you go and let Tackle help you. You will be grateful later.

We were trying to create some capabilities in the cloud marketplaces, mostly saas and iaas types. It was really beneficial to learn and understand the differences between all those marketplaces, how to interface with them, etc.

**What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

First, Tackle helped us get on the AWS Marketplace fast. I mean really fast. They took an overly complex process and made it easy for us and that was very valuable to us. What's going to have a bigger impact however is making sense of all the AWS Marketplace data. In true AWS fashion, the data is there, but getting at the information is painful and making sense of it even harder. If you are an AWS SaaS company, you might be tempted to build all of this yourself, and you could if you really wanted to, but resist that urge. This is heavy lifting that takes your focus away from your customers and delivering value, just let Tackle be your marketplace co-pilot and focus your time on what's important, your customers.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

Tackle is a small company, growing crazy fast, which means there are some rough edges and functionality that still needs to be built out, but they have always been very responsive. As long as they keep the features and improvements coming we will be a customer for the long haul.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We made the decision to drive all of our sales in the AWS ecosystem through the AWS marketplace, it would have been a much scarier decision and frankly maybe one we wouldn't have even decided to make if we didn't have Tackle along for the ride to ensure things were managed successfully. Thanks to Tackle we got on the marketplace in under a month and feel confident using the AWS marketplace going forward.

The massive expertise that Tackle.io has was extremely helpful and provided the best of breed practices to help stand up our solution in the Cloud Marketplaces.  This insight helped to prevent any potential roadblocks and sped up our listing.

**What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?**

I am confident in saying we are past the "honeymoon" phase and yet, we are still benefiting from our partnership with Tackle.io.  As with any partnership, over-communication is a key aspect, which Tackle.io does well but can always be improved.

**What problems is Tackle Cloud GTM Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We added another route to market by listing in the Cloud Marketplaces and the benefit we realized from Tackle.io was the expertise they have in standing up solutions.
