The best part about Tackle is how it abstracts the complexity of the AWS ACE integration, allowing our team to manage the entire co-sell lifecycle directly within Salesforce. What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?

I have been using the Tackle Cloud GTM Platform for about 18 months now as we scale our AWS Marketplace business, and the big thing for me has been how it brings all the functionality you need, together, in a far more user friendly way than using the AWS tools directly.

The ability to manage Private Offers, check the propensity to buy of your prospects, manage your co-sell opportunities and report on everything including your disbursements, all in the same easy to use platform, has been invaluable. The fact that it can all then be integrated and managed through Salesforce, if that's how you wish to manage it, brings another layer of simplicity into play.

This platform, however, is backed up by an incredibly knowledgable and helpful team, who are always willing to go above and beyond to assist in so many different scenarios, and this level of customer support is what makes Tackle stand out even more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?

I have spent the past five years working on go-to-market strategies and co-selling initiatives with the major hyperscalers—AWS, Microsoft, and Google. Throughout that time, Tackle has greatly streamlined the process and saved me a considerable amount of time. Having the ability to manage the entire workflow within a single platform, rather than navigating multiple tools, has been invaluable. I believe this is less an issue with Tackle and more a reflection of the varying capabilities offered by the hyperscalers themselves. There is not always complete parity across the different marketplaces. APIs to reduce technical debt, a single view for finance, as well as ease of creating and tracking private offers - for both Ops and Sales. The training they offer on marketplaces and how to educate your sellers to include marketplace in their talk track is also invaluable for organizations just getting started. What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?

As a cybersecurity company, our sales process can be complex. Tackle has been instrumental in simplifying our cloud go-to-market strategy. The platform's integration with Salesforce is seamless and has been a game-changer for our sales team. We can manage our prospects propensity to buy (Tackle Prospect) in Marketplace and co-sell opportunities all within the familiar Salesforce environment. Setup was easy in the Tackle Platform where all the mappings took place and I can manage all my marketplace listings, users, settings and integrations. This has significantly reduced the learning curve and increased adoption across the team.

The co-sell automation is another standout feature. It has streamlined how we share and track opportunities with our cloud partners, saving us a tremendous amount of manual effort on a 1 person team. The "Likelihood to Procure" scores in Tackle Prospect have also been incredibly valuable, allowing us to focus our efforts on the leads that are most likely to convert through the marketplace.

While the platform is generally very intuitive, the initial setup and configuration of the Salesforce integration required a bit of a learning curve since we were new to Salesforce and had to setup our Salesforce instance first. It's a powerful integration, and once we had our side figured out the Tackle piece was plug-and-play, but it's something to be aware of if you need to setup your salesforce first. In all this was a challenge on our side and not on theirs. The only thing better would be if SFDC helped us get aligned for Cloud GTM from the onset with Tackle in mind. What do you like best about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?

What I appreciate most about the Tackle Cloud GTM Platform is how it simplifies and unifies the complexity of selling across cloud marketplaces. It’s not just a tool—it’s a strategic enabler for our business.

One of the biggest game-changers has been the intuitive UI that works seamlessly across multiple hyperscalers. My teams no longer have to wrestle with the backend systems of AWS or Azure. Instead of learning multiple platforms to build listings, share offers, or track payments and contract statuses, they can operate within one unified experience. That alone saves us time, training overhead, and frustration—and it lets us scale faster across marketplaces without increasing operational complexity.

We use this platform every day for co-sell, offer management, and reporting, which speaks to how central it is to our cloud GTM operations.

On top of that, Tackle’s insights and data are incredibly valuable. Knowing which customers prefer which cloud marketplace is a huge advantage for our sales and GTM teams. Instead of casting a wide net, we can focus our efforts on high-propensity-to-buy customers and guide them through purchasing via their preferred marketplace, whether that’s AWS or Azure. That level of targeting has helped us increase close rates and better align with how our customers want to buy.

And I can’t say enough about the Tackle Coaches and Support team. The Coaches provide proactive guidance and best practices that help us avoid issues before they even arise. When problems do pop up, the Support team is incredibly responsive—we often get answers in minutes, not days. That kind of partnership and expertise has been essential to our success.

What do you dislike about Tackle Cloud GTM Platform?

One area where I see real opportunity for improvement is support for non-SaaS offerings like Professional Services across all cloud marketplaces. These services are a critical part of how we deliver value—whether through onboarding, implementation, or long-term consulting—and they represent meaningful revenue that we want to transact through the marketplaces.

Today, because Tackle doesn’t fully support Professional Services, I’m forced to use multiple systems to manage what should be a unified process. I have to go outside of Tackle to create listings, build and send offers, and access disbursement or payment reports. This creates unnecessary friction and breaks the otherwise seamless workflow Tackle enables for our SaaS products.

Given how easy and well-designed everything Tackle does is, I’m confident that if they turned on support for non-SaaS offerings, implementation and ongoing use would be just as straightforward. Bringing Professional Services into the core Tackle experience would significantly enhance their value proposition. It would allow my team to operate entirely within the Tackle UI for all cloud marketplace activity—SaaS and non-SaaS—eliminating context-switching and manual work.
