What do you like best about Syspro?

What do you like best about Syspro?

I like the the ability to customize to your business needs. The ability to tailor screens or even produce new views is amazing. There is almost nothing syspro cannot do without a little elbow grease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syspro?

User interface can sometimes be an issue for some. I believe less is more in most cases. Some times there is too much involved in screens that tend to get people confused.

Having to open multiple screens to complete 1 process, and the lack of standard reporting. If you need reports there needs to be an onsite report building employee, or syspro has to do it for you.

Customer support needs to be more stable. I have noticed that the timing of ticket resolution tends to be a bit long. In previous years we would get solutions to our issues pretty quickly, but recently it takes days to weeks for a response from the support team.

I'm not sure if its out internal infrastructure or SYSPRO, but there are often times where out system is extremely slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Syspro?

The ability to effectively manage our receiving, manufacturing, order and accounting processes. For the most part, it's easy for users to learn the system and perform duties. I also like that third-party systems such as Cadacus are available so we can capitalize on handheld scanners for inventory tasks, etc. Having all of our business lines, and departments in the same system is extremely beneficial. User management is pretty straightforward, being able to copy profiles to a new user is very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syspro?

The complexity of implementing changes. It's often difficult to add new features into the system. Cost is substantial but is also typical for any large ERP systems. I would like to see a good mobile-based client option as well. We have not upgraded to v8 as it's cumbersome, but will need to within the next year so we can utilize the new features such as integrated authentication with AD. The client install is also a very large package, it would be nice if it was smaller for an easier install - then depending on features needed, download supplemental packages for users. What do you like best about Syspro?

Its user interface is something really impressive, the fact that it is a multiplatform system has allowed me to consult the information from any device, something really practical when I need to consult some information and I am not in the office, its statistics panel shows me the information in a quite complete, simple and summarized way which falls like a glove when it is necessary to make a decision, the fact that it allows me to export the data in a large number of formats turns out to be something quite practical that facilitates the handling of information enormously, its ease of use and configuration throughout the use of the application is something quite impressive. What do you dislike about Syspro?

After updating to the latest version I can only access it through VPN, it is not something to write home about, but it is still quite annoying to have to be opening the VPN all the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Web Based systems need improvement, and the UI/UX has long been promised to be improved, but development is painfully slow on these features. We rely on multiple other analytics tools that tap into Syspro data for analysis and visualization, as the modules in Syspro are difficult to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Most modules look the same and are customized the same. This makes it easy for users to navigate a variety of modules. This also helps administrators customize the software because each module gets customized the same way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Syspro?

There are almost too many ways to customize the software. This software has been designed to handle workflow and business practices of many types of companies in many industries. As a result it can be easily customized to fit your needs. Unfortunately because it can be used in so many different ways, there are a lot of visible fields and settings that aren't relevant to every industry. It can take a lot of time to go through and clean up every window the users see so that they don't get lost. This is the same with the security settings. While parts of the security settings are grouped, it can take a lot of time to select which programs operators can access among other controls you have over operators.
