**What do you like best about Syspro?**

Syspro is very easy to use. I just began using about 3 weeks ago and with minimal training videos, I can now navigate through many screens. I am exploring ways to improve KPI's and it is user-friendly. We have developed custom apps and report from it and our team has been able to leverage this to improve our processes and workflow

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

At the moment I don't dislike anything from Syspro. We collaborate on the challenges we face in SP with other users and will start helping each other by sharing ideas and collaborating.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Syspro solved the issue of having a Master Schedule that will show all jobs, the remaining time to complete them, and where the job is on the WIP floor for us. We will also use it to improve visual management on the floor.

The easiness and how we can monitor and track everything. With each updates things are getting even better. Reports are precise.

I think we can make it more fast and UI can improve, looks outdated.

We have one centralized system for our all ERP needs. From entering an order to registering a payment. Before we used to have ledger for everything now its all on Syspro and we can access it remotely as well.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

The number of functions, the fact that many processes can be customized to fit the company and the Syspro Help Team has been very helpful. Syspro is easy to use and has built-in Help prompts to explain any error codes.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

Sometimes, there are multiple ways to do 1 task. Moving from one company to another, both used Syspro in different ways, it was difficult to reconcile that I was doing things "incorrectly" at the new place because I knew a different way of accomplishing the same thing.

Inventory, sales orders, invoicing, return product tracking, integration with other modules, processing credits.

I like how easy it is to understand and keep track of Jobs, and Sales orders. I mostly like the job linking with sales orders.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

It seems like there are a lot of add on, if you would like the system to do something, you have to pay extra, or get other systems.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cycle count program, in Syspro 7 we were not able to do Cycle counts, but now we can. The only issue is that we are not able to do reports on the cycle count results, that is something Syspro needs to resolve.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

Syspro is the core background software to everything we do. MRP drives what and when we buy things. Jobs are tracked to completion. Sales are processed and paid through Syspro. It is a great fit for a manufacturer like ourselves.
One big feature that we really like is what Syspro calls "Business Objects". This allows for us to do automation and build custom apps that can automate Syspro processes (like receipts, movements, labor loging). This flexibility has allowed us to scale and sustain tremendous growth over the past 25 years.
We have found it to be a robust and expanding platform that we rely on to run our business.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

UI is lacking at times. I believe some of this is solved by moving to the Web client. We've had some issues with the web UI (printing and authentication), but the good news is it seems like they might be addressing these issues.
There are certain processes that take a lot of time (kit issuing jobs with 800+ materials) that could be optimized.
We recently turned on multibin inventory tracking. While the infrastructure is there to support it, some of the management of it feels half built. So we've had to do alot of customization (or use a 3rd party software) to be able to efficiently use this dunctionality.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

MRP or Material Requirements Planning is huge. Sysoro tells us when and what to buy based on our production schedule and leadtime.
All our job tracking is run through syspro as well as well as AR and AP.

Been a Syspro user since 1999.  I have watched it evolve from a lipstick Windows application to a real quality ERP stystem you can build a company on.  No software is perfect, but to watch one listen and grow and blossom has been great.

I don’t always have the opportunity to use the package to it’s ful potential.

Not only is a solid package, but is extremely extensible without custom coding that breaks during updates.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

SYSPRO is a robust ERP system mainly focused on small to mid-size businesses. The system is modularised so the order management, planning/manufacturing, service and finance can be customised to the client's particular requirements.

SYSPRO has a Point of Sale and demand/forecasting engines which is very easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

As a leading ERP software provider, there are no human resources (HR) modules that would be important for an organisation to function properly.

The smaller businesses may find the usage of the system rather overwhelming.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SYSPRO has been extremely in the Materials Requirements Planning processes at the client's sites. By adequately ordering materials for production, we have been able to produce a pull-system of manufacturing thereby controlling inventory and freeing up sunk costs.

Costs are lower compared to other products, versus the benefits.

There seems to be odd problems that occur while using Syspro.  Those odd problems are difficult to diagnose, but often caused by bad process.  Unforunately, Syspro allows the "bad process" to be used, causing data integrity issues.

A mid-tier ERP system that includes the necessary functionality to operate our growing business, from Order to Cash, component to finished good, and including accounting.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

SYSPRO is very customizable if you can find the documentation.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

I dislike their "API", which they call E.Net. I wouldn't call it a true RESTful API. The only HTTP requests E.Net accepts is a GET request with xml data appended to it. The documentation on it is very limited and hard to find. The system overall is just antiquated. I've built half a dozen integrations with the system and most of my development practice has been just trial and error since finding documentation has been so hard. Since it is a smaller ERP, the solutions for plug and play integrations with it are limited which has led us to just build our integrations in house.

SYSPRO is the brains of our operations. It allows us to keep track of inventory, sales, customers and provides the data for forecasting and reporting.

I dislike that it is difficult to find information regarding how to use modules without a learnit license. Should be made available to more people free of charge to be able to teach end users how to leverage the program and recommend it to everyone.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

I like that SYSPRO is built on a SQL Database. I use SYSPRO on a daily basis in both the role of end-user and administrator. The software is customizable and has all of the basic features that we require as an equipment manufacturer.  Their tech support is very knowledgable and the documentation is thorough. Although complex, implementation was performed in a matter of months and the transition was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

Many steps can be required to perform a single function and it's not always user-friendly. Although the software does have many of the basic features that we require as an equipment manufacturer, it is lacking in areas such as warehouse management, shipping, and inventory cycle counting. Add-on applications are required to perform these functions fully.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SYSPRO solved many problems that we encountered with our previous software. The most obvious is the level of customization allowed us to do work internally that would previously have been done by a consultant.

I'm primarily a database user and I appreciate the design and naming of the database schema when compared to other ERPs that I've worked with. It's easy to work with and intuitive. The data dictionary functions within syspro is also very helpful.

Minor issue with crashes that happens occasionally.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

Syspro is an easy to use platform that handles all our needs without the need for  additional software. Integrating into everyday operations is simplified and pulling data to Excel for real time monitoring is smooth. We use Syspro everyday for all aspects of our business. The customer support I have received is second to none. I had an issue this past year and was able to use the Syspro forum to get the solution we needed. The rep worked with me and followed up to make sure we had the solution we needed.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

The learning curve can be steep but the benefits are worth the time and effort to learn.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a report that tracked materials transfered from one department to another on a quarterly basis. Syspro support was able to work with us to develope a module/report that was able to do this. It is much more detailed than it sounds but in the end it makes life a breeze for something that used to be detailed in spreadsheets, now it is a click of a button.

**What do you like best about Syspro?**

I love how customizable Syspro is. There are many ways to customize without needing an expert application developer.  When I can't easily find something in the documentation on how to do something, I love having the option to ask the forum about it. I always get a response from people eager to help. I also like how easy it is to use. For example, you can use CTRL+F anywhere to find what you're looking for. I have had no bad experiences with customer support yet. They are always very nice, and even if I give them a hard time when I'm frustrated about something, they handle it with grace.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

The documentation isn't updated frequently enough, and I've found some documentation has been inadequate. I like to find the answer myself without having to bother anyone, and it is hard to do that when I can't find it in the documentation. Sometimes, I resort to asking the forum about an issue after I've looked for the documentation.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a Quality department, and Syspro helps us customize the system with esignatures and security features to abide by the department's rules and regulations. When our employees ask if something can be done in Syspro to help make their  jobs easier, it is highly likely that Syspro has a solution for them.

The most beneficial attribute of syspro is how versatile it is! There are a number of different features and lots of possibilities for usage. For my position in particular (Calibration Technician), it is a life line to my everyday responsibilities. It is very easy to use and navigate!

Syspro is our comapny's ERP system and as such, I'm using it every day. The modules we use are not the only features available and the ability to add features as our needs change has been very beneficial. Syspro is easy to use  - it is very intuitive and the customer support is fantastic.

The only downside I personally have discovered is in the printing setup for cheques. There could be more options.

SYSPRO  improves production with inventory control and production scheduling. It provides easy to use AP/AR modules for accurate accounting and sales analysis tools to help determine future company needs.

I like the fact that I have open access to the database.  I also like the ability to customize the screens by writing scripts within fields and panes.

I would like more triggers available.  Also, some simple features such as selecting deleting multiple lines at once in order entry is missing.  Also, certain modules such as the RMA Module should capture more data and allow more visibilty.

It is hard to find applications, and the definitions of fields and operations are often unclear.

Keyboard shortcuts are inconsistent, both internally and with MS Windows.

It is hard to get good consulation on how to use Syspro, especially from the engineering side of the program.

There is apparently no way to attach documents to different objects (BoM, operations, stock codes, lots, etc.).

It is very intuitive to use.  Our plants have several 3rd party software add-ons that have been seamlessly integrated.  We have just been through upgrades to Syspro8 and the transition was easy and went off without any issues.  The service we receive from Syspro Support has been amazing.
We currently have 8 plants utilizing Syspro daily.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

I don't have any issues using Syspro.  Syspro8 has really stepped up the functionality including SQL queries from within the software which will be such a useful tool at our locations.

It's solving the ease of information flow throughout the system, cutting down on personnel processing tasks manually.

Once you understand the fundamental processes and how they work together, it's easy to use. The new layout is also helpful and reduces the time to seek the relevant tab on the menu bar.

**What do you dislike about Syspro?**

The inability to work with multiple customer accounts at once. You are often busy with a large order and have to save and close to open a new transaction. It also happens that an item was held on an open sales order that was never canceled, and you have to exit everything to cancel it, reopen it, and continue where you left off. While the walk-in customer takes time to put everything together or asks for single prices on items, you could still be working on the larger order in the background while they are busy with their decision-making.

**What problems is Syspro solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The sales and marketing function is extremely useful in managing customer accounts by giving insights into sales per product. Combining this with data from NETSTOCK allows for much better inventory control.
