**What do you like best about sumHR?**

What I like most about sumHR is how it combines simplicity, automation, and employee self‑service all in one platform, which is perfect for our growing B2B team. The leave and attendance automation is incredibly smooth, saving us hours every week by eliminating spreadsheets and back‑and‑forth emails. The employee self‑service portal makes HR much more efficient, allowing team members to handle payslips, updates, check attendance, and submit expenses independently. The payroll module is straightforward and reliable, pulling in data automatically, which makes payroll quick and accurate. The integration with Google Workspace is also very good, making our operations seamless. Additionally, the initial setup was so easy that it didn't take much effort to get started.

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

First, the reporting and analytics are fairly basic. We can get standard reports for leave, attendance, and headcount, but we can’t customize dashboards, do deeper workforce planning, or visualize trends over time easily. More flexible and visual reporting would help with management decisions. The expense management module is functional but basic. It lacks things like receipt OCR auto-read, multi-level approval rules, and integration with corporate cards. For teams that travel or have client-facing expenses, it could be much more automated.

**What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use sumHR to streamline HR management, eliminating disorganized spreadsheets and cutting manual HR work. It centralizes records securely, automates workflows, and enables employee self-service. These improvements free up our team for strategic tasks and ensure consistency across HR processes.

some less helpful parts of SumHR can be:

Limited customization
You can’t change everything as per company needs.

**What do you like best about sumHR?**

I like sumHR for its simplicity and intuitiveness. It covers all the essential HR needs like employee records, leave management, and onboarding without feeling overwhelming. I appreciate how it helps me eliminate manual HR work and confusion around people data, replacing spreadsheets and email chains by keeping employee records and leave requests in one place. I don't have to chase approvals or double-check balances, and it improves transparency. The transparency and visibility sumHR provides across the team is great, as managers can quickly see who's off and what approvals are pending. I also like that sumHR feels practical and focused. The initial setup of sumHR was straightforward and manageable, including importing employee data and configuring basic settings like leave policies.

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

While sumHR works well overall, some features feel a bit basic and could benefit from more customization. Having more flexible filters or deeper analytics would make it easier to get insights without exporting data. I would also like more advanced reporting, workflow customization, UI/UX refinements, and stronger integrations.

I use sumHR to manage core HR processes, eliminating manual work and confusion around data. It replaces spreadsheets by keeping employee records and leave requests organized, improving transparency and simplifying processes.

**What do you like best about sumHR?**

SumHR is the platform where our attendance are being marked day to day, earlier days we used to clock in and clock out manually few months ago our HR department has linked the Biometrics with Sumhr and everytime we give our fingerprint in the biometrics our attendance are being marked automatically and our company runs our payroll based on these attendance also our bank account is linked with this platform, if there is any events like anniversary or brithday this platform notifies all our employees in the company as a reminder to celeberate those days incase if our HR forgets this platform helps us to remember, we can check the salary slip and can easily download them whenever we needed. When i need work off i can directly apply from this portal and get approved from our manager, the interface of this platform is easy to use and i can easily access this in mobile using desktop version.

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

Our attendace are being marked late in the SumHR platform as our biometric takes time to sync it with SumHR, sometimes it takes time for the page to load when trying to access.

**What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When there is an attendance mismatch we can update it through this platform and get them approved by our HR Admin, incase our employee fails to update attendance our HR Admin can able to manually mark the attendance which is helpful in payroll processing as our salaries are directly linked to attendance.

It provides a centralized database that helps to manage employee information like contact details and other information. It provides a biometric feature to track attendance. It provides a hiring module to make the hiring process easy.

It does not provide in-depth reporting and analytics of payrolls.

It provides a centralized database which makes it easy for the HR team to get employee information from one location with accuracy. It provides the biometric timesheets for attendance which automatically records the attendance. It provides a payroll processing feature that auto mate the calculation of salaries and tax deductions.

The automated notifications on any employees birthdays or work anniversaries

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

The app some how manages to make simple things inaccessible due to its difficult navigation. We used it for about an year and finally replaced it with Keka which is much better.

**What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SumHR mainly helped us with the payslips and also tax declarations among other things.

It's one view & easy to use with great usage frequency.
it was also easy to integrate.
Here I like the user interface & downloading pay slip features. 
Also, on everyone's birthday the auto mail generation is also awesome

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

It was difficult to implement & sometimes the customer support service is also not up to the mark 7 doesn't provide the easy solution

It solves the tracking of each & every employee, from attendance, applying for leaves, and downloading payroll.
Its one-stop station & very efficient tool

Resignation and relieving tab is self-explanatory, making the process seamless for both employees and employers.
The leave policy works well

Salary disbursal can be improved by sending from this tool itself.

Precise timing of logins
Supports both fingerprint punch and laptop login.
Gives updates of HR departments in a curated channel.

They should expand more on disbursing payrolls.

Solving problems with attendance and leaves. 
Also, the user comes to know the exact data pf how many leave days are left and how many days they have taken Off.

i like the best is the attendance module and another one is with location also very attractive thing in this is to manage more things like work flow,company hirachy , task assignment and many mores which is  make this applicaton nearly all in one

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

some of things  and pages in mobile ui is not working properly like once i have to update my attendance is is not opening the input panel in this as i drop it also there is updations is going on which cause application process slow some times which is irritating

we are a remote teams in our company so management of remote employees and whole team is a challenging tasks for then some one of my collague find this application  and now we shifted our attendance module on this application now we not have to take challenge to identify the attendance of employees 
another thing i didnt like in this application is if we forgot to logout it will mark absent on that day which is not good

**What do you like best about sumHR?**

The detailed tabs are used. Also, they use and let us enter our tax details which is not very clear on other similar HR tools tabs. The resignation and relieving tab is self-explanatory.

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

Nothing that I dislike. But whenever I click on google sumHR, always a different page opens. So, that isn't very clear. Please sort this out. This is creating a lot of confusion.

Use it. Best tool

**What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The tax forms also Forms get generated there. The leave policy works well, and the email notification we get immediately we do some activity on the tool. Well, keep it up.

It is customized in such a way that it concentrates on every detail. Much of it is self-explanatory. Easy to access the employee's attendance even if it is remote. Also, the support provided by the team is speedy.

It is easy to comprehend, so nothing much to dislike. Although, it  can be made easier considering we as an organisation use payroll mainly.

The issues are mainly related to payroll updates or changes in amounts of employees with ESIC. It has an option for extra deductions and any extra payments which have been a benefit for us.

Payroll management I liked the most. It makes the process very easy and accurate.

Customer service is a bit slow and some times link gets slow.

**What do you like best about sumHR?**

It's one of the best platforms for managing employees, their attendance logs and their shift timings. With various customization options it can be used to blend the people management requirements of any firm. All employees have access to their respective sum-hr account and they can look at their logs, apply for leaves and notify their team members through the notification option that is available for them. 

**What do you dislike about sumHR?**

It takes a little time to log in sometimes. Revoking few leaves becomes too difficult. And leaves crediting becomes confusing sometimes. 

**Recommendations to others considering sumHR:**

Please make the look a little better. It could be made to look more interesting in terms of look and feel of the web page. And few tabs and user guide could be made more clear. If the tables be made more clear, it would enhance the user feel about Sum Hr

**What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking a long list of employees is easy with employee IDs that can be fed in the information logs. Once we apply leave, we can also revoke it. The leave has to be approved by the concerned manager. tracking employee details becomes easy. All the information can be tracked using the ID. One special feature is that it also shows upcoming birthdays, marriage anniversaries and work anniversaries. Payroll management gets easy too. we can track our work hours and leaves easily.

We can set IP restrictions so that people can only check in once they're in the office, that is if they're not working from home.

the UI is a bit complex, I am still not aware of all the features it has or how to use other functionalities properly

Simple tool for employees to log attendance, and properly manage work from home.

attendance and leave management. It has become easier for us to manage payroll because attendance has become transparent and simple. It has also become easier to implement rules.

The responsiveness of SumHR team to every question we have is excellent. They get on a call or web conference and help us as much as needed. The product itself is quite slick and performant.

No complaints. Will want to see more coverage for policy management and letters management.
