## sumHR Pricing FAQs

Generated using AI

Is sumHR free, or does it offer a free trial?

sumHR does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does sumHR cost in 2026?

According to G2 data, sumHR pricing in 2026 starts at ₹49.00 and can reach ₹119.00 depending on the selected plan. Pricing may vary based on billing terms or usage, so users should review the Jupiter's official pricing page for the most current details.

Who is sumHR pricing best suited for?

sumHR's pricing is best suited for small businesses and growing mid-market teams in India, particularly in IT, chemicals, retail, HR services, and telecommunications. G2 reviewers from companies with fewer than 1,000 employees consistently praise sumHR for simplifying attendance, leave management, payroll, and employee self-service without steep learning curves. The STARTUP plan fits lean teams needing basic HR digitization at minimal cost. The BASIC plan suits small businesses adding performance reviews and biometric attendance. The ADVANCED plan targets mid-market teams requiring OKRs, helpdesks, and policy workflows. Enterprises above 1,000 employees appear in G2 reviews but are better served by more customizable platforms given sumHR's acknowledged reporting and payroll limitations.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of sumHR?

sumHR offers no permanently free tier, but all three paid plans are listed as free when paired with a Jupiter Salary Account. The entry-level STARTUP plan at ₹49 per month covers core HR: employee database, attendance, leaves, onboarding, and automated payroll, plus Jupiter-linked perks like health insurance and on-demand salary. sumHR's BASIC plan at ₹69 per month adds expense claims, 360-degree performance reviews, biometric attendance integration, asset management, and org charts. sumHR's ADVANCED plan at ₹119 per month unlocks OKRs, KRAs, HR helpdesks, policy sign-off, digital signatures, and more powerful review options, with several features still marked as coming soon. A free trial is also available.

Is sumHR considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers rate sumHR at 3.5 to 5.0 across segments, with most small business and mid-market users citing reasonable, cost-effective pricing as a clear advantage. At ₹49 to ₹119 per month per employee, sumHR's pricing delivers solid value for core HR functions: attendance, leave management, payroll basics, and employee self-service. However, G2 reviews consistently flag weak reporting and analytics, a simplistic payroll module lacking allowances and bonus configurations, and basic expense management as gaps relative to expectations. One reviewer switched to Keka after a year, citing navigation issues. For teams needing only foundational HR automation, sumHR's pricing of sumHR tiers represents fair value; complex payroll or analytics needs reduce that value proposition.

"Streamlined HR Management for Small Teams"

3.5/5

What do you like best about sumHR?

I love sumHR's extremely user-friendly and straightforward design that fits perfectly for small-sized teams like ours. It has a clean and uncluttered layout, with core HR functions easily accessible. The leave submission, review, and record archiving processes are streamlined logically, making personnel affairs smooth and efficient without unnecessary steps. It works reliably on both computers and mobile devices, which allows me to handle tasks even when I’m not in the office. I appreciate the reasonable and cost-effective pricing plan, which suits our needs without adding unnecessary expense. The data sorting and automatic statistical functions are highly practical, letting me generate attendance summaries and reports with just a click, saving significant time on data arrangement. The interface is neat and intuitive without complicated menus, which helps both managers and employees get used to operations quickly, saving us time on training. I also value its flexible attendance management feature that adapts well to our schedule, automatically sorts out attendance records, and reduces the hassle of monthly statistics. The centralized employee file management is another highlight, as it allows us to store staff contracts and documents neatly, making information retrieval fast and straightforward. Additionally, the lightweight performance is reliable, without taking much system space, providing a stable experience. Overall, sumHR is a practical, easy-to-operate HR tool that perfectly meets our daily internal management demands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about sumHR?

There are quite a few practical aspects of sumHR that could be better. The native payroll module is overly simplistic and lacks practical adjustable settings. It's only capable of calculating basic working hours and deductions based on attendance records. We need features for configuring job allowances, travel subsidies, performance bonuses, overtime pay, and welfare benefits. Plus, we can't set exclusive salary rules for different departments and roles. Every month, we end up exporting attendance data manually to complete payroll tasks in Excel, which is repetitive and inefficient. Also, the data analysis and custom report functions are lacking. The platform only offers fixed basic statistical tables without multi-condition screening, classified data sorting, or visual chart presentations. Generating targeted reports like monthly personnel flow, team attendance analysis, staff stability statistics, and HR work summaries is not straightforward. We have to rearrange and reorganize exported raw data ourselves, which hampers efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is sumHR solving and how is that benefiting you?

We mainly use sumHR to streamline all kinds of daily human resource workflows covering staff attendance tracking, employee file management and internal approval procedures. It effectively replaces the traditional way of managing work through messy paper documents and scattered spreadsheets, which greatly cuts down unnecessary manual work and largely reduces human errors caused by repeated data entry and manual statistics. All employee personal information, job records and work related files are stored in one unified platform, making internal staff onboarding and resignation procedures much simpler and more orderly. Meanwhile the online leave application and approval system speeds up the whole reviewing process and makes daily personnel affairs run more smoothly. It also sorts out basic attendance data in an organized manner to lay a solid foundation for our later salary settlement work. With the help of this system, we can finish routine HR work more efficiently, save plenty of working time and help our team establish more standardized and Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
