"A useful tool for building and understanding complex audiences"
What do you like best about StatSocial?

What I value most about StatSocial is the level of granularity it offers when building and analysing audiences. The ability to select from a wide range of attributes and behaviours makes it very flexible and powerful for nuanced audience work.

The audience build functionality is particularly strong. It allows for detailed, tailored audience definitions that go beyond surface-level demographics, which is especially useful for strategic planning and deeper insight work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about StatSocial?

At times, the platform can feel a little opaque in terms of how certain metrics are calculated. I do not always feel fully confident in how the index scores and audience percentage figures are derived, which can make it harder to explain or fully trust these outputs in client-facing work.

I also often see the same brands and influencers appearing repeatedly across different audience reports. My sense is that this may be driven by accounts with large historical followings that are less relevant or influential today, although this is just an assumption. "StatSocial -Great Platform-Great Customer Service"
What do you like best about StatSocial?

I like the great customer service. The team is always available to answer questions and jump in to trouble shoot when I'm stuck. I feel like they are real partners in this business, not just a vendor. I also like the ability to reach multiple platforms within the social network and build custom audiences that can easily go to multiple platforms. We have had a very easy integration from using the StatSocial platform to build the audiences and sending them to Meta and TTD. I like the update to increase audience scale before sending to platforms as well. While I have not used the function, I like that they also have created an export to GPT to help analyze data. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

I do not like that they updated their demo targeting so we cannot target by ethnicity. This is a big demo for our clients. There are ways to work around it, overall I really like StatSocial, I just wish they would bring back demo targeting by ethnicity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about StatSocial?

I like that our reps are so hands-on with us. They guide us really well and give us great insights. The platform is decently easy to work with. I trust it to give me accurate data. The reps are very conversational and interested in strategizing what works best with our business. It's great to brainstorm with them. They have a lot of insight that sometimes we don't have. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

What do you like best about StatSocial?

The level of depth and richness of data that you can get is unmatched. It's very customizable, allows you to drill into highly complex or niche audiences, the customer support and reps are always very quick and responsive, and generally it's easy to use. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

The UX of the tool, its navigation, can sometimes be less intuitive. There are also some elements of the taxonomy that could make the tool more efficient and functional for an end-user. For one, the taxonomy could be more frequently updated to account for recency. Existing affinities within the taxonomy could be cleaned/audited more periodically to ensure the categorization, naming, general details of the taxonomy are up to date. It would also be a gamechanger to get more visibility into the makeup of interests & affinities (what specific accounts contribute to certain interests, etc). What do you like best about StatSocial?

I love how StatSocial is easy to use and still provides in-depth, impactful insights. The AI export feature is really helpful, allowing me to download raw data and use it with my favorite AI platforms for even more insights. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

While StatSocial's insights dashboard report is nice online, I'd like to see a report export function that nicely formats information into PowerPoint, which could save users countless hours. While I'd rather keep my subscription fees where they are, perhaps adding a built-in AI feature in the platform would add long-term value. What do you like best about StatSocial?

I love the insights and everything we are able to gather from StatSocial. The insights help us identify and understand more about our personas and gain great insights into people for brands and certain influencers. I really appreciate the Expansion feature, which allows us to expand to the amount we want, making audience scaling effective, especially when running things in a DSP. The ability to play around with different segments and send our segments to The Trade Desk is also very beneficial. I like the detailed insights from StatSocial. The clusters always help in understanding audience attributes and comparing them with another group. The brand data is great, and I love how we can drill into specific brands across a plethora of categories and delve into the podcast and influencer data. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

The index data is a bit hard to interpret, especially when used with other audience platforms like MRI Simmons. The exports can be challenging to navigate, and I wish there were more options for customizing the export format. What do you like best about StatSocial?

It has a very user friendly interface and offers the ability for users to harness their creativity and build audiences in a truly custom way. The ability to pull in users across a broad variety of social platforms to maximise reach while being able to resolve and deduplicate those users effectively is another great feature. The Insights Reports contain a rich variety of data, the Excel export function is very useful and the dashboards are easy to navigate and pull insights from. What do you dislike about StatSocial?

The Taxonomy could be broader - especially in terms of brands and influencers beyond the US market, so I hope this continues to develop over time so that "reach" for certain interest areas and brand categories can be more meaningful in markets outside of the US, UK etc. Offering a wider variety of custom baselines to benchmark audiences against in Insights Reports would be great too because currently there is only a limited set of market baseline audiences available in dashboards to compare your audiences to in an Insights Report. The keying in of a list of handles when building social parameters into audiences could be better too. Often a significant % of handles fail to populate properly and have to be manually re-keyed which can be time consuming and inefficient for a user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about StatSocial?

I love the accuracy of StatSocial's brand insights and talent demographics. StatSocial is valuable to me, specifically the brand insights and talent demographics, by allowing me to understand which brands my influencers index the highest against so I can help get these influencers brand deals.
