What I value most about StatSocial is the level of granularity it offers when building and analysing audiences. The ability to select from a wide range of attributes and behaviours makes it very flexible and powerful for nuanced audience work.
The audience build functionality is particularly strong. It allows for detailed, tailored audience definitions that go beyond surface-level demographics, which is especially useful for strategic planning and deeper insight work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At times, the platform can feel a little opaque in terms of how certain metrics are calculated. I do not always feel fully confident in how the index scores and audience percentage figures are derived, which can make it harder to explain or fully trust these outputs in client-facing work.
I also often see the same brands and influencers appearing repeatedly across different audience reports. My sense is that this may be driven by accounts with large historical followings that are less relevant or influential today, although this is just an assumption.
