**What do you like best about SetMe?**

I really like that SetMe just works seamlessly. I've got a few unattended computers that I can log into anytime, which never worked with TeamViewer. The setup is easy—I just have the end users run the program and give me the ID number, and we never encounter any issues, unlike with some ISPs that blocked TeamViewer. Plus, I find the capability to connect to multiple machines simultaneously and easily switch between clients' multiple monitors incredibly useful. File sharing is straightforward and functions exactly as I need, and overall, everything else seems to work fine.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

Nothing really except I'd like a way of doing a custom version of the remote, which I used to do before. So we can put our company name on the actual file so they know which file to run on the desktop when they need remote access.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SetMe allows me to connect to multiple machines at once, switch between monitors easily, and share files effortlessly. It handles remote access smoothly, unlike TeamViewer, and doesn't encounter issues with ISPs like TalkTalk.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

I like the ease of use and cost to value ratio. I use this program anywhere from a couple times a day to over 30 times a day to access users' computers. There is rarely any lag, feature set feels almost complete and was easy to implement into our environment. End users have taken well to this change, most noting an improvement in our ability to complete task without having to troubleshoot why we couldn't connect.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

User interface feels dated. Much nicer UI wouldn't take much effort and improve the sentiment of users and potential customers.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SetMe enables my team and me to connect to end user computers quickly, reliably, and efficiently, allowing us to troubleshoot issues, install software, and handle a wide range of other tasks. Among the remote software tools I have used, SetMe stands out as one of the most dependable. The value we receive for the cost is precisely why we continue to choose SetMe.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

ease of use for clients you just tell em set.me on the URL bar on top of you navigator hit download give me the code when you have it most people get it. client application is great I recently installed just one to a friend this is separated from our unnatended acces. the software always connects well the framerate and delay is very good even on low speed internet.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

crashes on AMD drivers when a client is rebooting so I would hope setme would contact AMD and try and work on this issue, we'd also like support for Linux and maybe a more secure unnatended acces to servers so we can install it on secure servers.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can have the setme expert console installed on my gaming PC at home and actually work from home whitout our VPN whitout the risk of comprimising work with my home PC because god knows I do a lot of stuff that could potentially be not safe at home for exploring IT more and it can keep my life private while giving me the privilege of working with my own PC with my 49 inc odyssey G9 wich is so great I'm going to geek out a bit but I can see 3 24 inch monitors in my 49 inch one it's great for accessing client's and user's pc's through the company.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

Vendor seems very open to quick to add improvements. It works. It's fast. Good features. LOVE the PASTE clipboard for advanced logon passwords, etc. Able to easily search my entries. Always room for improvement, but best that i know of for my clients. Affordable for me. I use it all day long, every day. Almost always i am remoting to multiple computers to run updates, support, etc. Works seemingly flawlessly. I like the RED outline on the client screen showing something is going on.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

Clients are not auto-updated and they are constantly updating due to wonderful updates but it always slows me down trying to remote FAST! I don't want to wait on client updates: there are enough RED lights in town. 

Would like a final message to stay on client screen after a disconnect: such as issue resolved, Have a fantastic day! And, maybe a final prompt as well to let the user know their computer was actually remoted to and at what time.

Would like a pre-message to pop-up on clients that says something like: we are about to remote: please save and close any confidential information and click OK to allow remote connection to complete....

Would like a PIN code to start the console so I can lock it when walking away from my computer. Like Telegram's security pin code option.

Would like some upfront jargon saying the connection is encrypted, etc.

SetMe is an easy way to connect with users for support, and it also allows unattended sessions with reboot capabilities. This gives techs the ability to update and support machines without needing someone standing in front of the remote host just to reboot it.

I think the former fixme.it and set.me can be confusing for new users when explained over the phone. Having an alias that’s easier to say and understand in a phone conversation could be helpful.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

SetMe makes it simple for me to have someone connect to the site. The short URL is convenient, and the site loads quickly. I also appreciate that I can connect to both Windows and Mac computers. Setting it up on different machines is straightforward, and accessing my clients remotely through unassisted access is very easy.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

Setting up on MACs tends to be a bit more involved, which is common given how the operating system is secured. Every now and then, I encounter a client who lacks patience and ends up launching multiple sessions. This is due to the delay between installing the client and receiving the security warning.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main advantage of using SetMe is the time it saves. It enables me to resolve issues at my customer sites more efficiently and without delay.

The ease of use, the pricing, and the amount of work and support they constantly put into this software! It's extremely easy to implement, the customer support goes above and beyond, and we utilize it daily. Itigration is seemless, you install an agent and it's good to go. The features are what you'd expect and desire.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

Nothing, honestly. It just works the way any teck expects it to. Our team loves it and we have no intention on ever switching.

The ability to manage all 12 of my locations from anywhere I may be. The ability to remote in, restart and get back in has been a game changer, but the biggest thing is the price.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

I love SetMe for its amazing remote capabilities, specifically the ability to quickly connect and fix issues with remote computers. It's super easy to use, and I really like the ability to share and record solutions while working with end users. I can connect to a computer, record my session, and save it for the remote user, which is great for teaching and helping users recover solutions on their own. The ease of connecting to Mac products also influenced my switch to SetMe. The initial setup was super easy, just a quick email to support, and they handled the full migration of my accounts.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

I miss the magnifier feature and the ability to share my screen that was available in Fix.Me. Sometimes I am working with a support person and would like to share my screen. The magnifier allowed me to zoom in on only a portion of a screen without having to zoom the entire screen and having to scroll.

SetMe allows me to quickly connect to remote computers, record sessions, and share them with users for future reference, making remote support efficient and educational.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

SetMe has been excellent for providing remote support. I appreciate being able to place remote monitors in separate windows, which makes it much easier to locate items as they appear, without having to scroll around. The feature that allows me to copy and paste text, applications, and files from my local machine to the remote one is extremely useful. Additionally, having the option for both unattended and on-demand access adds a lot of flexibility. The dashboard for unattended clients allows you to put them in goups making them easier to find. You can also give the friendly names as well as see the actual computer name. I have also used the dashboard to find the OS of a computer and the external ip address of their internet connection. These are just a handful of the many features available and I am sure there are some I haven't even discovered yet. I have used other remote support utilities in my 30+ year career in IT and I can SetMe has been one of the best if not the best I have come across. Almost forgot you can remote into multiple machines simultaneously which is a huge help when doing installs or troubleshooting client server applications.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

It's not exactly a complaint—if anything, it's probably a positive—but I do notice that there are a lot of updates whenever I launch the app. I understand these updates are likely improvements, and so far, none have caused any problems. However, they always seem to occur when I'm in a hurry and have several clients needing remote assistance at once. One feature I wish the app offered is the ability to set a timeout or automatically disconnect a remote session if it remains idle for too long, as this may become a requirement for some of my clients in the near future.

Set me has been a real time-saver, allowing me to assist my customers remotely while also making it easy to keep track of remote support sessions for billing purposes and monitoring how my time is used.

Good format and workflow.  Especially if you connect with multiple machines at once.  Tech support is available, responsive and pretty good.  Its refreshing in this era of non-support or using poor implementation of AI to infuriate you.

I use the product EVERY day.  Its fabulous for my clients and me.

Its cost structure.  I use to buy two licenses so my colleague could share sessions with me.

I can work on client computers anytime!  And its available to work with a client to show me their problems.  Sometimes "my computer doesn't work" is not enough to go on...

Setme allows me to be states away and take care of my clients. Easy to use I've only needed to call for support once! I use this thousands of times a week to care for my clients every wishes. Newer features from upgrading from fixme are welcome and help also help state of remote computer. Accounts were switched without any hassle

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

Screen adjustment options with multiple screens. I would like a button when multiple screens are discovered

Quick access to clients workstations and to run updates and passwords. They are my biggest requests!

Easy to use. Supports both PC's and Mac's. Simple for the person you are supporting to implement. Allows you to setup for unattended usage. Makes it so you can work remotely on another computer as though you are sitting with that computer. I am able to support anyone not just existing customers. It is everything you need. I use it all the time.

I have no issues with this application at all.

When someone I haven't setup to support previously, I can tell them a website to go to and provide me a code and instantly connect in and support them. Set.Me makes supporting customers easy.

Unattended access is great.  being able to lock the keyboard and mouse is great too.  Also hiding the screen while i am working is a good feature too.

updates, and it keeping my sessions tied up is my computer shuts down.

I can just remote into client computers and have them showme the issues that they are having.  It benifits me by allowing me to just sit at my desk.

We’ve made major reductions to update time so they complete much more quickly now and don't interrupt your work. **What do you like best about SetMe?**

I have been using SetMe for about 6 months.  I have found it to be very effective for me to keep my customer's machines up and running.  Transfering files is easy.  I like it.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

When the host has multiple screens  3 or 4 it not quite a smooth moving from one screen to another.  Maybe I just need to practice.  I move to the edge and wait then it moves.

On the multi-monitor point: totally fair feedback. SetMe has several multi-screen modes in the remote desktop toolbar, and the experience can feel much smoother depending on the mode you choose. We suggest trying: all screens in one view, single screen in one window, or each screen in its own window — whichever best matches how you work. You can also reach out to support so we can suggest the best setup for your workflow.

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

What I like the most about SetMe is the ease of use for both myself and clients. All I need from my clients is to provide me with a simple 6 digit number and I can hop on in seconds. Just being that simple alone is worth it's weight in gold.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

They are constantly adding new features to SetMe, so I can't grumble much on that side of things. The only thing that really comes to mind is the performance side. Once you get over the 1000 unattended links on the system, sometimes it can take a moment to search for the PC  you are looking for and when a client is frustrated, every second helps. But this the only real thing that comes to mind when using SetMe.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We love SetMe because it it solves 2 issues which are:

1. An affordable remote solution that works with our team size of 5 - 10 engineers using it at the same time.

Regarding the 1,000+ unattended devices— totally fair feedback and there are several things in place that we recommend. To speed things up, try using list filters/sort/group, add your most-used devices to Favorites, and rely on Recent for machines you’ve connected to lately. Hopefully this helps get you the most out of using SetMe!

**What do you like best about SetMe?**

I like having unlimited remote connections and the ability to connect to many remote devices at once, instead of having to connect to one at a time.  Remote password saving on the endpoint is great too.  I have emailed support a number of times with ideas or small problems and not only have they been very fast at responding, they have also implemented some of my suggestions into their product.  Having the ability to download a pre-configured .msi means I can deploy via group policy on a domain network and all it takes is a reboot on the end users' part.  I use SetMe daily and it works on both my PC and Mac.

**What do you dislike about SetMe?**

I would LOVE a dark mode, and I think that is on their roadmap.  Also I do not think there is a remote cursor release currently like there was on the old FixMe product, so I have to move my mouse off the remote screen to not fight with the remote user for mouse control.  I believe that is also on the roadmap for future improvements.  

I might like to see the ability to resume a session on another device.  I have it on my main office computer and when I need to sign in on another computer, like my laptop, I have to first close my session and remote connections on my office PC.  I would love it if it were possible to just "resume" my session on another device, including my remote connections.

**What problems is SetMe solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was pretty much the ONLY affordable remote management tool I could find as a single member IT consultant.

Some clients get confused understanding the URL name, typing a .me domain, or by autocomplete suggestions in their browser.  Please increase your focus on SEO and add an additional domain name like setme.com
