**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I really value how Serrala simplifies complex payments and cash management processes. The automation feature is a big win, reducing the team's manual efforts and minimizing errors. I also appreciate the centralized visibility it provides, which includes EBAM, allowing cash positions, bank accounts, and transactions to be seen all in one place. Additionally, Serrala's seamless integration with our SAP system is very beneficial, as it allows for smoother data flows and less manual work. It's the combination of automation, visibility, ease of use, and integration with SAP that truly makes Serrala stand out for us.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

We have found that EBAM does not work always as expected. It can be quite slow at times, which impacts efficiency when we are trying to manage account related processes. Another challenge is adoption. Not everyone across the company consistently updates information in EBAM. Additionally, some features like generating letters do not always work as intended. For example, we are not able to use the feature to generate letters to close bank accounts, because the system is very slow. Also, when we try to see all our account details or make changes, it is extremely slow, so it makes us take a lot of time in simple tasks.

Serrala streamlines and automates our payment and cash management processes, reducing manual work, errors, and delays. It offers centralized visibility, integrates well with our SAP system, and improves our control and insights for effective decision-making.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I use Serrala for AP automation, and it helps me quickly review and approve invoices while providing complete visibility into approvals with an audit trail. The platform is easy to use, with a great and easy-to-understand UI, making my experience seamless. The team is wonderful to work with, and any issues that arise are addressed quickly by them. Serrala also integrates smoothly with our accounting system, SAP. The initial setup went very smoothly, guided by the implementation team every step of the way.

I like Serrala's open-minded approach and their focus on solutions. They offer different solutions and are constantly looking for room to improve.

Just individual links - We needed general links for customers in our use case. Not so easy initial setup, but it was more on the outside.

I use Serrala so that customers in arrears can pay their open amount. I appreciate its open-mindedness and focus on solutions, constantly looking for improvement.

I like the full integration of Serrala into SAP, it makes everything much easier. The applications run very stably, without major outages, and that is definitely a big plus. Additionally, the initial setup of Serrala with the help of the Serrala consultants was very straightforward.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I find Serrala user-friendly, allowing me to take control of my actions without always needing the help of IT. I also appreciate the promise of more user functionality and the potential to automate more processes. We had good support to implement it, which made the initial setup easier.

I feel there needs to be a better understanding of FS2 collections. Also, more integration with SAP or other Serrala products would be beneficial.

Serrala automates bank statement postings and will tackle payment fraud once FS2 Payments is live. It's user-friendly, letting me control actions without constant IT help.

I like the user experience of Serrala, especially the simplicity of processing invoices. The hands-on flow is also very pleasant. Additionally, it offers good visibility for audit purposes.

We have some challenges in implementing the Peppol legislation, where we need to process XML files. These are still in a next phase and need some optimizations.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I like that Serrala is an end-to-end solution. It can process credits (SBI) and we were able to automate the credit process, as well as the reading of account statements up to the posting of payments. Additionally, we had good support from Serrala during the implementation.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

The posting of customer deductions (cost charges) is still not working. The charges are too complex, and currently, we are posting manually due to the complexity.

I use Serrala to automate the credit process and the processing of account statements up to the posting of payments.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

The products, in our case Autobank, are very well adapted to the use cases, and Serrala provides good support and knowledge exchange among the users. Additionally, they take feedback and continuously optimize the products. Very good update structure. In 2024, we expanded our product landscape with the module solution Collections from Serrala.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

Often, one doesn't really know exactly what the products are capable of, as only the basic things are set up according to customer requirements during implementation. However, this problem is known and is being addressed by Customer Success.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Serrala has managed to increase our automation rate in the bank from 84% to almost 93%. Additionally, it increases the flexibility to adjust accounting rules without having to rely on SAP programmers. Another advantage is that our manual Excel reporting has been replaced. The manual distribution of bookings has also been replaced by work inventories. Reporting is simplified and the added value across multiple products increases.

The intuitive ease of use is wonderful. I can train anyone on how to use Payference in just a few minutes. Whenever there has been a question, I hear back from them the same day, often within the same hour. Payference has integrated very well with our accounting system (SAGE) and made the paper trail far simpler.

The default setting of 24 months' history for A/R aging.

It is set up to send out email with the relevant invoice at predetermined moments so that the receiver can immediately see a copy of the original invoice and move on to processing it for payment. This saves us the time of 1) creating the email and 2) searching for the right invoice to send out with the emailed collection notice. All of this has been a huge time saver for us and has speeded up our collection cycle.

I have been involved with the Payference team for a while. They have been fantastic to work with and very accomodating to our requests for additional features. Payference is very easy to add into NetSuite and needs very simple configuration tasks.  My primary goal was to get more insights into cash transactions and this has been met.  In addition we use Payference for near term cash forecasts.  It gives me the information I need to see outstanding receivables and upcoming payables.  As a small team we had limited time for collection activity and the automation tools from Payference have been a great help to the AR group.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

Payference is still new and growing which sometimes causes frustration.  It is also a huge benefit to be able to help them visualize future features or upgrades to the current software.

The primary benefit to us is bringing automation to the team enabling us to keep the group small and allowing cash resoures to be deployed elsewhere.

The team at Payference has done an incredible job of "hand holding" during the implementation.  They simply wouldn't rest until the software was working exactly as promised.  Further, they were extremely interested in feedback and incredibly, quickly implemented small changes to increase the usability of the software.  That said, Payference does what you expect...helps automate collections and provides a very detailed picture of AR.  Very pleased.

Nothing significant to date.  System is working as expected.

The most helpful piece of Payference for myself as the AR Analyst is the automatic dunning, reminding customers promptly and professionally that payments are coming due and also reminding them of any past due invoices. As a company, keeping this process intuitive allows focus on other necessary AR tasks to increase cash.  The connection to our ERP system was quick and easy. When onboarding with Payference, their team allowed us to ask all our questions, and as more inquiries came up, their team remained quick to respond and step into action.

The downside of Payference is that the templates created as a sample for email reminders were lackluster and could use better rhetoric and style. The templates are something that can be created and manipulated. However, having solid templates to begin with, is always helpful.

A problem that Payference is solving is the automation of dunning emails, payment reminders, and past-due collection efforts. Also, the visibility to management of our AR and the current statuses of open invoices.

**What do you like best about Serrala?**

I like the flexibility of rule creation, the post processing screen, which is easy to handle and provides all the details we need for cash allocation. Our automatic cash posting rate is getting higher and higher.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

We had some challenges at IT audit this year as we modified some rules in the live system and they missed the control over the changes. Also, we have issues with remittances over and over again.

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Autobank which helps our Cash Application team to clear incoming payments quicker. We could add many invoice types so now the invoice is recognised even if the identifier is in the document number, billing document or reference fields. We set some rules for on account postings as well which ease our daily job.

Serrala is imbedded within SAP, which helps in the learning curve for the end users learning a new tool. Users can update the system without waiting for IT or a 3rd party to do it for us.

**What do you dislike about Serrala?**

The only downfall I have found so far is an English manual is lacking

**What problems is Serrala solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Automating our cash application increased our hit rate for manual application, in some markets, by 60% within three months.  Additionally, standardize our collections by automatically updating collector's call lists based on specific strategies.  Lastly, implementing a credit approval workflow.
