"Real-Time Error Tracking with Actionable Insights"
What do you like best about Sentry?

Real-time error tracking with clear, actionable insights. It makes it easy to identify, prioritize, and debug issues quickly, especially with features like stack traces, release tracking, and integrations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentry?

The UI can feel cluttered at times, and it takes effort to tune alerts and filters to avoid noise. Also, pricing scales quickly as usage grows, which can be a concern. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Error Visibility, but Setup Complexity, Alert Noise, and Pricing Hold It Back"
What do you like best about Sentry?

One of the things I like most about Sentry is the detailed, real-time visibility it provides into application errors, which makes debugging faster and more efficient. It captures rich context—like stack traces, user actions (breadcrumbs), and environment details—so it’s easier to understand not just what went wrong, but why it happened.

I also appreciate the intuitive interface and the strong filtering options. Together, they help me quickly identify and prioritize the most important issues, so I can stay focused on what’s critical without feeling overwhelmed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sentry?

One drawback of Sentry is that the initial setup and configuration can feel fairly complex, especially for beginners or smaller teams that don’t have dedicated DevOps support. It can take a while to get alerts, integrations, and filters tuned correctly so you can avoid unnecessary noise.

Another issue is that error notifications can sometimes become overwhelming, particularly in larger applications where a high volume of events is generated. Without careful tuning, it’s easy to end up with too many alerts, which can dilute their overall effectiveness.

Also, while the platform is powerful, some advanced features—like performance monitoring and session replay—are locked behind higher pricing tiers, which may not be a great fit for smaller teams or startups.

Finally, even though the UI is feature-rich, it can occasionally feel cluttered. That can make it harder to navigate quickly or find specific insights without a bit of a learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
