I've tried a couple of transcription services, and Scribie is the best of the bunch for me. I used to use it for a montly meeting, and I now use it to transcribe a weekly graduate-level class.
The transcribers are accurate and very knowledgeable. They handle esoteric terms with ease, to such an extent that I suspect they check things online (which is certainly going above & beyond). I'm also impressed that they use slides that are included in the video to get the spellings of unusual terms.
The transcribers do an excellent job with poor audio quality (e.g., whole-room audio recorded using an Owl device), catching dialog that I missed as a meeting attendee.
The tech and customer support is excellent. I get immediate support to chat queries on the website. The email support is very good indeed. For example, there was a problem where an mp4 (video) file I uploaded ended up at Scribie as mp3 (I think there was an upload bandwidth issue on my end). Scribie flagged the difficulty identifying speakers. I succesfully re-uploaded the video and Scribie scrubbed the file again at no extra charge, correcting speaker names.
Turnaround is often less than the promised 24 hours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My only quibble is that the editor difficult to use. It's keyboard-command driven, and I have to keep a paper cheatsheet to hand. However, I live with it since the Scribie editor, for all its problems, has more functionality than any of the other services I've tried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
