I've tried a couple of transcription services, and Scribie is the best of the bunch for me. I used to use it for a montly meeting, and I now use it to transcribe a weekly graduate-level class. For example, there was a problem where an mp4 (video) file I uploaded ended up at Scribie as mp3 (I think there was an upload bandwidth issue on my end). Scribie flagged the difficulty identifying speakers. I succesfully re-uploaded the video and Scribie scrubbed the file again at no extra charge, correcting speaker names. Turnaround is often less than the promised 24 hours.

I tried to automated transcription with a transcript filled with technical jargon. Not surprisingly, the automated transcription was not accurate at all. I wrote to Scribie requesting support in getting a manual transcription instead - it turned out beautifully.
