What I like best about Scribbl:
It saves time and lets me focus on the conversation: This is the biggest advantage. I don't have to worry about taking notes during the meeting. I can fully participate in the discussion, knowing that the entire conversation is being accurately transcribed.
Automatic summaries and action items: The AI-powered feature that generates key takeaways and a to-do list after the meeting is fantastic. It allows me to grasp the main conclusions in seconds without having to read the entire transcript.
High transcription accuracy: I was pleasantly surprised by how precisely Scribbl transcribes conversations, even with multiple speakers. It makes it much easier to go back to specific parts of the discussion.
Ease of use and seamless integration with Google Meet: The extension works smoothly in the background. It only takes one click to start recording and transcribing. The saved notes are automatically available in Google Docs, which makes sharing and editing them effortless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Minor inaccuracies with technical jargon: While the overall accuracy is high, the tool sometimes struggles to correctly transcribe technical or industry-specific terms. This requires manual correction of the transcript afterward.
Issues with speaker identification: Sometimes, especially during a rapid exchange, Scribbl gets confused and assigns a statement to the wrong person. This can cause minor confusion when reviewing the notes.
The need for manual proofreading: Although the tool is a huge help, the transcript is rarely 100% perfect. You almost always have to spend a moment reviewing the text and making small corrections, which is an extra step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
