Saturation replaced multiple tools I was juggling using - budgeting software, accounting software, emails, texts threads, and expense tracking spreadsheets. This pulled everything into one place that actually makes sense. Getting set up wasn't a project in itself either; I was building real budgets in it within the first day, not spending weeks migrating data or learning a system built for a different industry. As someone running a commercial production company, the biggest win for me is having my budget and actuals in the same system. I'm not exporting CSVs, messing around with complicated formulas, and cross-referencing numbers between tools. When getting started on a new budget, I can build from my own custom templates I've created myself, or use AICP or other industry-standard budget templates Saturation provides. The whole experience seems to be built around how prod co owners and producers real world workflows (not on generic accounting software), and that difference is noted every day.
