**What do you like best about Roster?**

What I like most about Roster is how helpful they are as a company. You aren't treated as a number, but as a client. Roster genuinely wants to see our ambassador program succeed and they offer one-on-one meetings, quick customer service help, and overall guidance. It allows us to manage all our campaigns, actions (short tasks), contacts, analytics, and commissions, all on one platform. I appreciate that setup was easy for our team and that it was all laid out for us.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

A suggestion I have is to let admins/team leads manually add in screenshot proofs of action completions for influencers. There are times when an influencer forgets to use a certain hashtag for a campaign or action and it does not autopull the post to show it's been completed. Sometimes, influencers do not add a screenshot and will just send it to us. It would be convenient to have the option for us to add the screenshot for them, when the post isn't autopulled.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roster lets us manage campaigns, short tasks, contacts, analytics, and commissions on a single platform. It offers shoppable links to control discount code leaks and commissions, helping manage the influencer program efficiently.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

What I like most about Roster is how centralized and intuitive it is. Managing a large and growing ambassador community is much easier when applications, onboarding, contracts, communication, and performance tracking all live in one place. It’s helped our team stay organized, work more efficiently, and scale our program without sacrificing the personal relationships that matter most to us.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

Like any growing platform, there are occasional feature limitations or workflows we’d love to see expanded as our program evolves. That said, the Roster team is receptive to feedback and continues to improve the platform, which gives us confidence in using it long-term.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roster solves the problem of fragmented ambassador management by bringing applications, onboarding, contracts, communication, and performance tracking into one centralized platform. This has eliminated the need for spreadsheets, scattered tools, and manual follow-ups, saving our team time and reducing friction. As a result, we’re able to run a more organized, scalable, and professional ambassador program while still maintaining strong, authentic relationships with our community.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

It’s super easy to use, letting me track sales, create campaigns, and guide our affiliates for sales, launches, or content creation—all in one place. With a large affiliate group, this centralized hub saves me tons of time and keeps everyone aligned. Affiliate marketing drives a big part of our revenue, and Roster makes it seamless. Our sales rep, Caroline, is fantastic—always quick to help and full of great ideas.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

I wish there was an easy way to retroactively credit an affiliate. For example, a customer will call us an place an order over the phone because they need additional assistance. Often times the customer found us because of an affiliate but the affiliate doesn't get credit because the transaction happened over the phone.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roster has been a game-changer for managing Hewn’s affiliate program. It’s super easy to use, letting me track sales, create campaigns, and guide our affiliates for sales, launches, or content creation—all in one place. **What do you like best about Roster?**

I love Roster because it's so easy to set up sales campaigns and manage everything I need to do for my brand. Approving ambassadors and athletes is super straightforward, and I can see the revenue they bring in easily. I appreciate the support service as it's always there when I have a question. Everything needed for creating sales, changing percentages, and managing codes is right there and easy to navigate. I also really enjoy being able to see detailed information like followers, Instagram, email, and address of ambassadors, and just a click is needed to approve them. The initial setup was great, and I felt supported with lots of friendly information, which was really helpful. Overall, Roster has everything I need to grow the brand, and I highly recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

I just have a hard time navigating it with my phone sometimes. It's just me. I have an outdated Android, but when I'm on the laptop, everything navigation works well.

Roster helps me set up sales campaigns and manage ambassadors, making it easy to navigate and approve. I can quickly resolve issues, such as code errors, and track revenue. It facilitates brand growth with everything I need, from campaign creation to ambassador management.

It's great because I'm able to run different campaigns for each contact group like ambassadors, UGC creators, product seeding relationships, and campaign-specific partners. I appreciate Roster for its excellent ability to consolidate payments and manage our ambassador program effectively in a single platform. I like how easy to use Roster is on the brand side, especially seeing all social posts together for one program. I also like that Roster is able to hold all the information ambassadors need. From my understanding, setting it up was super easy.

I really really wish there was a mobile app for ambassadors and that they could be in multiple programs at once.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

I like that Roster helps us turn our customers into ambassadors and gives us plenty of ways to engage them. The Shopify integration is essential and works incredibly well. It also streamlines communication and reporting, and lets us scale our ambassador program across the US and Canada while keeping everything consistent.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

My only real frustration was that getting started felt a little overwhelming because the system isn’t immediately intuitive. However, the support team is excellent, and they always help clarify things quickly.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roster helps solve the challenge of scaling and managing an ambassador program across multiple regions. It centralizes communication, tracking, and reporting so our team can stay organized and consistent. It also solves the problem of ambassador recruitment. By integrating with Shopify, Roster makes it easy to identify purchasers and turn them into brand advocates. The platform gives us several ways to engage them, which has strengthened participation and improved program performance. The result is a more efficient workflow, stronger ambassador relationships, and a program that can grow with our needs.

Roster has been a great step in the right direction for all ambassador programs alike! They're willing to work with the team directly to understand needs, wants, and what's feasible for them on the roadmap.

They have a long roadmap. When we signed it seemed like the youtube integration was just around the corner. After 1 year, and with social media heavily relying on Youtube, there is still not much of an update. To our brand, this is absolutley crucial.

I like how easy Roster makes it to manage brand media content as an athlete/influencer. The brand is able to provide specific guidelines, then see when I have completed those requirements.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

It is very limiting and sometimes feels more "advertise-y" than I like my promotions of a product to be. It would be cool to be able to share non-specific brand promotions (where I promote a brand in a more natural manner) with the brand via Roster as well.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

Roster has been an incredible tool for my Community Management and Ambassador Program Management career. I have used it across multiple jobs, and I've found it incredibly useful every time. For myself, most of its value comes in my brand's ability to interact with ambassadors on a personal level on a large scale. I've been with companies that have had hundreds of ambassadors onboarded onto Roster, but I still can make a personal connection with each one through their platform. 

On top of that, being able to organize campaigns using content from our ambassadors makes my job as a content creator/curator so much easier! It's all easy to find and digest large amounts of content quickly. 

My use of Roster has significantly increased the day-to-day and overall execution of my job. I've been incredibly pleased with the account managers and C-Suite employees I've interacted with, and would recommend them to anyone looking to take their brand's ambassador program to the next level.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

While there are not many downsides to using Roster, I have found that it can occasionally miss content that should be automatically pulled in. It can also be a hurdle for some creators to use another platform to receive campaign requests when most other brands work through DMs or email. But those brands need to be using Roster, so I don't put much weight to it.

Roster helps to keep our content and list of ambassadors in an easy-to-find and well-organized place. Additionally, Roster has created a platform that helps us seamlessly request and manage ambassador content.

The Roster team has excellent customer service & is super easy to work with. They'll even help you build out your programs! I love how there are so many tools within the platform that help to capture UGC, while also staying automated.

The learning curve was a little hard for me to navigate on my own. I struggled with the milestone tiers in building out the program & getting it started, but once I hopped on a call with someone from their team, it was a breeze!

Our goal is to showcase brand love, while also rewarding those folks who share it! As a retailer-forward business, it's great to have photographic proof that consumers are loving our product.

Love the content syncing to the platform and ease of bulk payouts. Custom programs and campaigns make it easy to ensure we are meeting our community's needs. Our favorite platform we've used so far.

Outreach must still be done internally. If you are ready to do your own outreach, this is the favorite platform we've found so far. User and administrator friendly.

Saving us from having to look up individual accounts to verify compliance. Providing automated systems for payouts as well as customizable program groups and campaigns.

I like that I can find a tree that shows who manages who, and you can tell the team structure. Additionally it gives you contact info and ways to recognize service years.

I would like to be able to search by job title beyond just name. This would be very helpful with networking within my company. I also think there could be a search by department feature.

I work at a very large organization and finding people within the company can be a bit cumbersome. Rostr helps us to streamline that process and doesn't require every member to have LinkedIn.

We're able to streamline communication, management, and reporting. Roster allows us to scale our program across multiple regions easily, with different team members managing different regions, while still having consistency across our ambassador program. The team at Roster is eager to hear feedback, and help create solutions whenever we want to do something the system doesn't currently have built in.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

The only part of Roster we don't like, is some inconsistencies with tracking social content. Ambassadors have to make sure to use specific hashtags in order to track their progress.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

We've used Grin, Lead Dyno, Post Affiliate Pro, and many other affiliate/influencer tracking softwares and Roster is by far the best for all our needs! We have multiple "programs" we like to group users in to like dropshippers, affiliates, influencers, customer referrals, etc. We are able to make those separate programs inside of Roster to manage their specific terms, rewards, and commissions! Nothing we've explored has ever been able to do that.   

The tracking works very well with our Woocommerce websites we use. Being able to create coupon codes in our Woocommerce store and connect those to Roster also helps a ton!   

The support team at Roster is extremely responsive and I love that they are a US based company. We've had many things they've helped with.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

I only have 2 suggestions for what I would improve to make this perfect. 

1. Create something to make the Woocommerce coupons inside of Roster instead of having to make it in Woocommerce.

2. Create something or integrate with another software to allow us to search for social influencers and see their profiles.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Like I said above, this solves every issue we had with managing multiple types of programs in the same software! And managing unique contracts and storing data.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

The ability to recruit, connect with, and invite Ambassadors/Influencers/Talent Partners to specific campaigns, actions, Milestones has been a GAME changer. Our team in North America has grown immensely, and would never be possible to manage without the Roster tool. Having 1 tool to manage, host, and promote On is not only helpful for the Program Managers internally, but feedback shows the ambassadors are KEEN to ADD the Homepage as an APP to their phone for easy access and quick double checks of codes, campaigns, material!

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

Technical glitches, reporting restrictions. It would be really cool to have more templates or created Campaigns, Milestone Series, Listed Actions in the Roster Portal as a guide to create and expand with other global teammates/programs.

**Recommendations to others considering Roster:**

It's a tool that will streamline management if you haven't yet for a customer advocacy/ambassador or influencer program!

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication +++ Streamlined and up-to-date reporting, UGC content, sales attribution. It's become a HUB for everyday and every resource involved with the NA Ambassador program. One of the first tabs opened every day.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

I like that you can organize creators into different groups. You can set commissions based on cash or points. I also like the reward incentive for creators, especially for Micro creators that you don't necessarily want to pay a cash value to because of low performance. However, you still want to reward them in some way.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

I wish creators were able to make their own product link from our website, so they could share whatever product they want. It would be nice if the system didn't allow folks to upload a piece of content more than once, some influencers are in multiple campaigns, and the auto-capture will sometimes upload a piece of content they've already submitted elsewhere. When I look at a user profile, I'd like to click on the content and see what exact campaign it was used for.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organization of influencers. Before Roster this was very hard to keep track of internally.  Also, the creators submit their work in the app, which helps keep track of who completes a campaign.

The whole experience has been great and much more effective than other services that we have used and tried in the past. It is easier to find good, real influencers that actually help us to move product. We love using the campaigns and so do our influencers, as we can setup lots of different rewards and ways to movitate them to post about us and brand. Everything has been awesome and the growth that we have seen has been great to see as well.

Not too many things that we haven't liked, at least to this point. Every time we have a question or need help, we can easily find the answers and get things worked out. No problems at all from our end.

The biggest problem we had was finding the right influencers and finding ways to properly motivate them. We love that we can combine our affiliate program with our influencer program, it sort of hits the best of both worlds for us.

I like Roster because we can have multiple programs going at once.  It was essential to us to be able to nurture our ambassador program as well as our brand partners and practitioners, as all three programs have different needs.  If you have multiple groups going at once, this will be an excellent resource for you!

The only negative was that we had a hard time connecting the discount codes to Recharge and Klayvio for email purposes.  If you don't use either of those programs then it shouldn't be a problem!

There are two key aspects to Roster that made us choose it over other platforms. First, they make it easy to receive applications and to choose ambassadors that we would like to promote our product. Second, it is very fun how they gamify the program to get people to do more activities to increase reach and awareness while incentivized to earn points.

Roster is not going to replace your loyalty program though they have a lot of features that perform like a loyalty program. They could just role that into the product and make it an all-in-one.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

Love how easy it is to make campaigns. Roster creating specific coupon codes via Shopify is excellent. Actions are also a new feature that is memorable and easy to employ. We increased one of our TikTok videos from 1,000 to 8,000 views thanks to people commenting and liking it via a Roster action.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

Roster can be quite a bit buggy at times. For example, tracking people's followers on various platforms isn't accurate sometimes. Another example is when Roster lets out new releases, they don't do a quality check, so they accidentally remove features they've already released. This feature removal happened with our milestones, they just randomly disappeared, and we had to reach out to a Roster rep to get this back. Another time, Roster stopped tracking milestone points, and we had to reach out about that because multiple ambassadors were wondering why they weren't getting rewarded points.

Separately, Roster also doesn't allow for YouTube campaigns. We have quite a few YouTubers that are ambassadors for us that want to promote more on that platform.

Roster doesn't have an app for users to use anymore, either. There once was a Wooly app, but it's no longer available on the app store.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Roster is solving word-of-mouth advertising via influencers. Multiple studies talk about how Millennials use influencers to tell them what brands and products are suitable for them to purchase. Additionally, most people check out a brand online and on social media before purchasing, so having a good reputation from third parties is incredibly important.

The false promise is the best part. The hope that this product would work was my favorite time using it.


**What do you dislike about Roster?**

The product didn't integrate with my website. I paid an extra $500 for an "integration fee" with the promise that the tool would be integrated without me having to worry about anything. Despite paying that fee and monthly subscription fees has not prompted the service desk with any action to ensure that the tool is actually working. Customer service and functioning products are not a priority for this team. I've worked in the IT industry for years and have never seen such disappointing priorities. Any software developer knows that the value you bring your customers is paramount.

It's been a horrible experience since I signed on the dotted line. From there, they're very hard to get in touch with. I send an email to my customer rep explaining that the tool is not working, despite many requests-11 days later I receive a message saying we should have a meeting to see what's wrong. These guys lack the ability to empathize. If someone is paying you thousands of dollars for a broken tool, is it unreasonable to at least provide them with the bare minimum service to get it fixed?

Wooly doesn't really support subscription purchases yet but we have been told they are working on that. For now, this is a manual process for us but we are excited for the update when subscription products are supported.

Wooly is a great platform to build and manage your ambassador channel. It brings a lot of features from different tools into one place. Its also very nice that integrates directly with Shopify.

For the price you get a lot of features to grow, organize and streamline your ambassador program. I like the idea of the campaigns to engage and help your ambassadors participate at their own pace. I also like seeing everything organized on the wooly site, the ambassadors, campaigns, etc.  The team was also super helpful, especially at the beginning setting everything up and getting used to starting and answering questions.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

It took a minute to get used to the site and starting everything,  lots of details, but now it's easy. It would also be a great addition to have an option where ambassadors can earn cash or credit from their shareable discount codes. So they could log into an app and see how much money they've earned or store credit from their friends and family. Not a complaint, just a suggestion for the future.

Set up a call and have someone walk you through the platform and all the features, so you can see if it is something that will work for your company.

I've loved working with the Wooly platform because it's SIMPLE. The tools are easy to use, campaign are setup so you can easily duplicate them and my experience with their customer support team has been phenomenal.

I would appreciate more automation when it comes to campaigns. The onboarding process for new ambassadors is a bit disconnected. For example, it would be convenient if newly accepted ambassadors were automatically invited to a welcome campaign, versus having to set that up and manually invite them. Expect some leg work, but great results.

Before using Wooly, we already had a very loyal following and several tagged posts everyday. The problem was, we didn't have an effective way to track and gather these posts OR direct their photography. This tool has allowed us to not only track their posts, but also reward them for spreading awareness around the campaigns, launches, holidays etc that we would like. **What do you like best about Roster?**

Woolly is a fantastic platform to facilitate leveraging a strong fan-base of loyal users.  There are very helpful tools to create campaigns, monitor posts, and email your ambassadors.  If you want to create an ambassador program based on your users, this is an excellent tool to use.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

Setting up your account and campaigns is time consuming, tedious, not always intuitive, and not as automated as it should be.  For instance, newly accepted ambassadors should be automatically invited to join the "Welcome Campaign" - but that is not yet a feature.  There is also not a robust onboarding guide for new brands to leverage and follow best practices.  As such, it is a time consuming tool to use.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have loyal users but no easy way to help them spread their love for our products.  The Wooly tool gives us a method for tracking and rewarding that word-of-mouth love that they are spreading.  We have seen a number of our users join our ambassador program and begin posting on social media about how they love our products.

**What do you like best about Roster?**

Intuitive, great customer service, simple.

**What do you dislike about Roster?**

Not as robust as the Brandambassador platform. It lacks some brand to ambassador reward options that other platforms like this have.

**What problems is Roster solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had an issue with our ambassador management, and Wooly solves that issue. We can easily track whether an ambassador or influencer has engaged with our program without having a team of people tracking them.

The best think is how the easy is to use it. They sent me an email with the support and help contacts as well, with all details in. I didn’t need any support since it’s very clear and easy

Nothing! The platform is really clear and easy to use

First the access from the brand ambassadors. About benefits as brand you don’t need to spend a lot of time with the campaigns since Wooly makes easy way for you.
