"High-paying remote research opportunity"
What do you like best about Respondent?

What truly sets Respondent apart is the pay. The studies aren't your typical 10-minute consumer surveys; they are usually in-depth user interviews, focus groups, or product testing sessions conducted by major brands and research firms. The incentives reflect this value, with the average project paying around $75 to $100. For studies focused on specific professional or technical backgrounds, the effective hourly rate often reaches $100 or more—making your time incredibly worthwhile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

While the pay is high, studies are competitive. You might need to apply to several screeners before you find one that perfectly matches the researcher's specific criteria. Persistence is key, and landing just one 60-minute interview for $100 makes all the screening time worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Participant Recruitment with Quality Results"
What do you like best about Respondent?

I use Respondent to recruit high-quality research participants, and I find it especially useful for reaching hard-to-find professionals and niche audiences quickly. I can quickly find highly qualified individuals who match my research criteria, which saves me an enormous amount of time. I appreciate the quality of participants—people are motivated, professional, and ready to engage meaningfully in interviews or surveys. The platform’s user experience is smooth, from posting a study to managing scheduling and payments, making the whole research process much less stressful. I can clearly see who’s applying, review their profiles in detail, and choose participants that best fit my study. I like the flexible scheduling tools, which make coordinating interviews across different time zones much easier. Additionally, the support and resources Respondent provides—like tips for crafting studies or guidance on participant engagement—help make the process smoother, especially for complex or niche research. The study creation interface is intuitive, with helpful prompts and examples that make it easy to avoid common mistakes, and I find the tips for crafting effective screener questions and determining appropriate incentives very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Respondent?

The cost of participating incentives and platform fees can be high, making it less accessible for small budgets. Finding enough qualified participants for highly niche audiences can take longer. Respondent's international reach is limited for some studies, making global research challenging in certain regions or industries. The navigation of the platform could be more intuitive, particularly for tracking multiple studies at once. The participant messaging system could be improved to allow for more intuitive bulk updates and reminders. Filtering and sorting participants could be more flexible, such as filtering by multiple criteria at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
