It offers security, your links or QR codes are safe there, and you can edit them if necessary, while your printed pages, for example, always remain up to date. But for a program like this, these are minor issues. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I had to create a catalog with many products and the option to include QR codes in the print, which I was then able to modify to adapt them to changes on the website they linked to. ### 2. Visually, I don't like sharing long links. It's fairly simple to use, at the expense of functionality. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** 1) Overpriced - I was with Rebrandly for almost two years. For my small business, I found the $29USD/month to be fairly expensive for what they offered. Converting it to my own currency, it was almost $50/month. Recently they sent out an email increasing the pricing by almost 35%, up to $39. Again including currency conversion, this would have made it over $70 for me, for a service I thought was already overpriced. They also only gave a couple days' notice of the price increase via email. 2) No improvements over the time I was with them. Their iOS app copy and paste function - i.e. copying a rebranded link to paste somewhere did not work over the two years of using the app. Considering creating rebranded links is the service they offer, you would think that their app would let you copy the rebranded link to use elsewhere? 3) For some reason, they only show link clicks in UTC time. I don't understand why they wouldn't let users choose their own timezone? I'm unsure if this could have been changed when generating a report, but if you want to glance over the results, you have no choice. In summary, I'm glad they emailed me about the price increase, as it forced me to look elsewhere - even though I had to scramble to shift all my links over before the new billing cycle. The service I changed to was short.io - which offers everything and MORE on the FREE tier. But every exciting new app tends to grow a free, even more if it becomes a necessity. Rebrandly still keeps a free suscription with lots of features still available for the newbie or expert users. Instant QR code generation, url short custom name and instant copy of the generated short URL only gets topped by basic stats of user interaction with every one you generate. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** The paid suscription versions are a little steep, event though for industry experts and as an addon for your customers it's well worth the investment. Other than this I can't seem to find anything to dislike. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** We needed to shorten long file names primarily of files and documents hosted online that are shared among users all across the web. The custom branding of each URL gives it a different feel and gets more comfortable for everyday usage by anyone that comes across your URL's. Now, the chance to see how many clicks a file (link) gets (even for basic free accounts) helps everyone out to see if your links are being at all clicked or if you need to change your strategies. ### 11. The best is probably that I now know that I don't want to use Rebrandly for my business in the future. That's certainly the best I can say about that brand. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** They're closing down Clickmeter because of a merge with Rebrandly but only 50% of what's needed for a merge to Rebrandly is provided. No tracking link titles, no campaigns, no tags can be transfered. It's terrible when you have a few hundred links and you can't identify them anymore! What a shitty plan that was! Adding another team member requires the enterprise plan. hahaha Ridiculous! And, the links are obviously easier to remember for me, so when I send an email, I can just type the address of my scheduler or the contract, instead of having to login to some other service and copy and paste to an e-mail. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** Not much to dislike really. I mean, sometimes I forget what the link I made was... and it would be a nice minor feature to be able to create multiple links to the same destination, like ../contract, ../contractmain, ../contract1 all go to the same address, in case I forget which one I used. The URLs are unwieldy and random and don't offer any connection to our brand, or the fundraiser name. I love that Rebrand.ly enables me to customize my link, so it makes both our brand and the specific fundraiser recognizable, and of course, makes it manageable. **What do you dislike about Rebrandly?** This isn't so much something I dislike about Rebrand.ly, as it is a limitation I expect to confront when using a free version of something. Ultimately, I would like the flexibility of eliminating the "Rebrand.ly" from the link, but it's a very small price to pay for the advantage of a shortened link with my own custom branding attached. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are a very small childhood cancer foundation that really has no budget. Because of that, I work hard to make us appear professional while seeking to offset our costs anywhere I can. Utilizing free services that generate links often results in the generation of random links that are stripped of any of our own branding. This presents two problems. 1. It looks terribly unprofessional to send a link to someone that is a mile long and 2. When a link has none of our own identity, it makes people uneasy about whether they can trust it or not. They lock in you and resell them. My credit card and information was voluntarily switched over to another user - still amazed. I managed to get all my data removed but the domains are still in my name. Really, it looks good on the surface but that's about it. **What problems is Rebrandly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Redirected links - it works but the problem is that Rebrandly doesn't own the domains - you do - and they lock in and charge you not only the subscription but the renewal fee at a higher price for the domains. **Official Response from David De Guz:** > Dear Rebrandly customer, we are sorry to find out that you are not satisfied with our support team.
