I'll try to keep this short, but there's just a lot of good I can say about Rategenie. The first is that it's a Tokeet add-on, so only Tokeet users are able to use it - I consider this a positive because I honestly don't want any of my competition to have this power. It also means that there's virtually no setup process whatsoever - you log in and all your properties/listings are already there waiting for you. From there, you just make a pricing strategy that takes just a few minutes.

The most impressive part to me is that Rategenie doesn't just calculate your rates and leave you to do all the work - it actually updates all of your listings with the new rates, and continues to monitor your properties' local activity and competition to adjust the rates fittingly EVERY DAY. Things change quickly, and I believe Rategenie is the only way to stay on top of it if you're interested in capitalizing at every turn and always staying ahead of the competition. What do you dislike about Rategenie?

To be honest, I was a little confused about what Rategenie was for in the beginning because I've never heard of "dynamic rates management". I guess it's something that's gonna catch on though, this just seems to be the first app of its kind. I was a little annoyed that the mobile app took an extra month to come out, but I've got it now and it's just fine! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rategenie solving and how is that benefiting you?

There is absolutely, no humanly possible way to calculate and update your rates as effectively as Rategenie does - this is the perfect scenario for automation to prove its worth. After one month, my revenue increases have been more than the app advertised (~40%), and my occupancy is through the roof. This app is essentially taking a massive, complex task that every VR owner encounters and handling it in a few clicks. It's saving me a lot of time and it's doing a better job than I ever have. What do you like best about Rategenie?

The app is connected to my Tokeet account so everything synchronized immediately, I didn't have to set anything up. It updates constantly too because it has to detect changes in your booking schedule to react. I only use the genie strategy, but it's really all you need. I've had it managing my rates for a few weeks and my bookings are definitely up, way more than I expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rategenie?

It's easy to get set up with the default strategy, but you probably want to do some reading if you are going to start creating your own one. They put all the info you need in help bubbles but I didn't start understanding until I read the help docs. I guess it doesn't matter since I use all the automatic settings anyway. Definitely saves a lot of time. I was only changing my rates for major holidays before, and even that would take me much longer than this app took to set my whole schedule.
