**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

at the moment nothing.  $50,000 of my money had not been deposited into my account since April 24th.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

My tenants paid rent through RentRedi, and MORE THAN 16 DAYS LATER, OVER $50,000 STILL HAS NOT BEEN DEPOSITED INTO MY ACCOUNT.

After spending HOURS on hold, I finally reached a supposed supervisor who ASSURED me the funds would be released within ONE BUSINESS DAY. That deadline came and went — STILL NO DEPOSIT. Just more excuses blaming their payment processor, Stripe.

As landlords, we hired RENTREDI — NOT STRIPE. At a certain point, passing blame stops being acceptable. Holding this amount of RENT MONEY for OVER TWO WEEKS with little communication and no real resolution is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE and raises SERIOUS concerns about their business practices and oversight.

Again at the moment you have created more problems

While payment processing timelines can occasionally be impacted by verification or processor-related reviews, we know what matters most is getting clear communication and a path to resolution.

Please know that your deposit experience was not a delay in processing, but a communication error between the payment processor and your bank. As soon as we were aware of the issue, we worked with Stripe to resolve the issue, and the funds have been successfully deposited.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I no longer have to chase tenants for rent or text them reminders if they are late, all of that is done automatically through RentRedi

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

Like any platform, it takes a bit of time to learn how to do specialized things like negotiating a charge or changing the ending date of a lease.  However, the help system is excellent, and there is always chat support if I can't find something in the help documents library.  Also, there is a lag time until payments actually hit my bank accounts, so I need to plan for that when paying expenses.

**What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't have to deal with tenants who don't include late fees when they pay late, and I don't have to deal with their excuses about why they should not have to pay late fees.  I have each account set so they must pay all amounts owed including late fees at the same time.  And the software sends them daily "nag me" emails and alerts when their rent is late until they pay. I also don't have to be diligent about checking all mail every day to know when late payments are made. The payments are automatically funneled directly into my bank accounts, and tenants can get a receipt for their rent payment through the portal, which means I don't have to deal with those requests either or make trips to the bank to deposit checks.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I use RentRedi to help manage rental properties on behalf of the landlord. It primarily helps streamline my payment collection system. I appreciate how we have been able to transition from tenants paying with cash or physical checks to online payments, which helps with liability and time management. I value the feature where tenants can open a Chime card, allowing those who prefer paying with cash to deposit into the card and link it to RentRedi for online transactions. The initial setup was fairly easy for me.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

There hasn't been any issues that are major. But I think maybe just the way that the portal or the dashboard is set up could be a little bit more user friendly.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I really appreciate RentRedi for its easy access via the mobile app, allowing me to manage everything on the go at any time. The convenience is a big plus since all aspects related to my rental agreement are organized neatly in one place, making them easily accessible without the need to search for anything. Additionally, even when I encountered an issue with the app, the customer service was very easy to contact, and they were quite warm and responsive while guiding me through accessing my account on the web.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

The credit card fee is very high, but - to be fair- credit cards aren't typically an option, so there's the trade off. I used the feature once to earn a few extra credit card rewards, but the incredibly high fee simply made it unviable. The fee seems excessive and likely more prohibitive than reflective of actual costs.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I use RentRedi to pay rent and handle maintenance tickets. I love the super easy payment methods and the straightforward, sensible process for filling out maintenance forms. It's not complicated at all, and I can pay rent without going through any hassle. I really appreciate the option to pay online with either a card or a bank account and the transparency about the fees associated with card payments versus no fees for bank account transactions. The setup was super easy, quick, and straightforward.

Wish I could archive old repair tickets instead of keeping them in the list but it doesn't hurt having them there at the same time.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I use RentRedi for maintenance, applications, prequalifications, and all communications with our tenants. I also use it for accounting purposes and to keep track of our properties. I appreciate the convenience of having everything in one app, whether on my phone or desk. I really appreciate being able to call customer service during the weekdays and get help. I like it when they screen share, and they're able to promptly help you through a process if there's a problem. My tenants seem to appreciate the credit boost option. The initial setup was seamless.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

Occasionally (not a lot) I have issues with the settings.  For example, I will set up the payment order settings, and at times, it will revert back to other settings. I want it to be the payment order of oldest charges first, but sometimes it doesn't always do that. I've called RentRedi a few times about that, and they do seem to get it taken care of. But then glitches occasionally re-occur after it's been taken care of.

I use RentRedi for managing our rental properties especially in regards automatic reminders for tenant. I also use RR for maintenance requests from tenants, the entire application process to screen potential tenants, and automatically applying lates fees when rent is not initiated on time. It provides convenience by having everything in one app, accessible on my phone or desktop.

I really like RentRedi's user friendliness. The interface is very intuitive and makes setting everything up, from leases to payments and merchant processing, really comprehensive and intuitive. Another aspect I appreciate is the back end support. When I've had a customer support claim, I can quickly get on a chat with someone who provides fabulous support and answers my questions promptly.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

There was a little bit of a hiccup when I was in the middle of a transition between leases. I needed to collect payment for a lease that had expired, and there weren't really capabilities within the software to do that. If the development team could look into a way to handle leasing transitions, like collecting payments from expired leases or old tenants, that would be ideal.

I use RentRedi for lease management and payment processing. It helps me manage leases electronically and process rent payments easily without extra setup, passing fees to tenants so my cost is low.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I like that RentRedi allows me to charge my tenants and automatically notifies them when rent is due, which is helpful. It gives them updates on when their rent is due and allows them to pay in different ways, like with a credit card or through their bank, which is really nice. I appreciate that my tenants can send maintenance requests through it and I can report their payment history through a credit reporting company. The setup was pretty easy and didn't take more than ten minutes.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

Sometimes, I think my tenants have issues with the apps. It doesn't delete charges very well. I've had to go and delete the same charge, like, three times.

I use RentRedi to manage my rental property. It allows me to charge rent, sends reminders and notifications, offers different payment options, lets tenants send maintenance requests, and reports payment history through a credit reporting company.

I love how easy RentRedi is to use and set up, as it takes no time at all. I really appreciate that it helps with listing properties to get more traction online, which aids with SEO for promoting listings. I find it useful for storing communication records and current leases, which are easy for both my tenants and me to access. The mobile and desktop applications are convenient, allowing me and my tenants to use it on different devices and access it on the go. I also like that everything is kept in one place, making management simpler. I would 100% recommend it.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

The cost of promoting and accounting, as well as the maintenance plans, are just a little bit out of my budget. In the beginning, they did ask for management agreements, which I did not like or have readily available.

**What do you like best about RentRedi?**

I really like RentRedi because I see my deposits clearly and they keep track of my deposits every month. It's very helpful to know when tenants make their deposits and a few days later, the amount reflects in my account. I don't have to deal with stories about checks being in the mail. I also appreciate that I can store my lease there and recently found out that I can get my lease signed through RentRedi instead of needing to use DocuSign. The setup was fairly easy too.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

When I do have a question at night, I can text it. The issue is that you're getting AI answers. And you're not reaching a human being. But I usually call if I have a problem during the day. Actually speak to somebody. And they answer directly.

I use RentRedi to collect rent on my properties. It's helpful as I know when tenants deposit funds, and a few days later it's in my account. No more 'check's in the mail' excuses. It also tracks deposits, allows lease storage, and facilitates signing.

I like that RentRedi manages all aspects of collecting rent for me. It allows me to autocollect payment from my renters and sends reminders when the rent is due. I don't need to take the time to send out reminders, or have checks mailed to me and then deposited. With RentRedi, the money comes into my RentRedi account and then is automatically deposited a few days later into my bank account. Initial setup was easy, except for waiting for them to approve the property listing.

There's nothing that I disklike about RentRedi.

RentRedi allows me to autocollect payment and sends rent due reminders. I don't need to send reminders manually or handle checks. The money goes into my RentRedi account and is auto-deposited into my bank, simplifying rent collection.

I like RentRedi because it provides the receipts automatically to the tenants. It also keeps track of my bookkeeping to a certain degree and it's easy to use.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

RentRedi keeps wanting to advertise my property, but that's not what I need because I already have tenants. So I was hoping that it would stop asking me that. Additionally, during the initial setup, I had to deal with a few bugs and had to call IT for support, although they did help me out, and it's running smoothly now.

I use RentRedi to automate my property management tasks, streamlining bookkeeping and providing receipts automatically to tenants. It's easy to use and helps with rent tracking, solving my challenges with receipts and bookkeeping.

I’ve been using RentRedi to manage my rental properties, but unfortunately, I recently experienced a serious issue where $3,200 was stolen due to unauthorized access to my account. Someone gained access, changed the banking information, and redirected a tenant’s rent payment. Despite promptly reporting the incident, I was told there was no breach of RentRedi’s or Stripe’s systems and that the activity happened through valid login credentials.

As a landlord who relies on this platform to manage sensitive financial transactions, I find this deeply concerning. Security measures should not just stop at deflecting responsibility—there should be proactive safeguards to alert users to suspicious changes, especially when bank account information is updated.

I’ve worked hard to establish trust with my tenants, and this breach has not only caused financial harm but has also compromised that trust. I hope RentRedi takes stronger action moving forward to protect its users. At the very least, landlords deserve better protection and transparency.

It used to be a way for me to collect payments until I lost $3200 through their platform.

RentRedi has multiple security measures in place. On top of being compliant with the strictest industry standards, RentRedi encrypts all sensitive data
We offer Multi Factor Authentication, and its implementation predates this fraud incident. It is enabled by the customer. When sensitive payment account information is changed, we require the customer to verify this change.

Additionally, RentRedi has not experienced any data breaches. The unauthorized change made to your account was initiated by someone who had access to your email as a 6-digit verification code was used to confirm the change. Though we do all we can to protect your account, we cannot protect your email address and other external accounts. The bad actor was able to delete the safeguards that were sent to the email address on file because the breach was external.

Support was horrible.  They are not well trained, they do NOT call you back.  I personally left 3 messages and never got the first phone call back.  It has been over a month.  They only want to refer you to self help articles, which for a paid for service, you would rather not spend all day reading a bunch of self help articles that are lack luster.   

I also did not like that they FORCED you to sign up for their merchant account services.  They get paid for this so that is why they FORCE you to do it.  It is a bad business model when you are paying for services already.

I wanted to share my experience with the RentRedi platform, as I've encountered several issues that have impacted my satisfaction. Firstly, the platform lacks many essential features that would enhance usability.However, the most concerning aspect has been the unprofessionalism in their customer service. I have been trying to resolve an issue regarding a deposit from one of my rentals for the past three weeks. Despite providing them with a statement to show that I have not received the rent, they continue to hold the deposit due to their slow account verification process.In light of these challenges, I have found a more suitable platform that not only offers a greater range of features but also eliminates ACH fees. This new platform includes a built-in AI that generates compliant leases for each state and audits existing leases, which will significantly streamline my operations.

They refused me access because I already had a stripe account registered prior to using their platform. So there's nothing I like about the app.

Terrible customer service and incompetent people working ontheir team. Their platform signs you up for a STRIPE account and they claim to have an “underwriting” department. However, if you have an existing STRIPE account they’ll cut you off and refuse to communicate instead of simply offering customer service and connecting your existing stripe account. This is incompetence at its finest. How do you run a tech startup and cannot figure out how to connect a STRIPE account to your users accounts and why would doing such be a “high risk?” They make absolutely no sense and have ZERO problem solving skills. It’s like a bunch of toddlers are running this app. If someone would just get on the phone to communicate like a regular functioning adult, things could be resolved. SAVE YOURSELF TIME AND SIGN UP FOR INNAGO INSTEAD OF RENT REDI.

Everything is really easy to set up and use. Filling vacancies really intimidated me, but marketing properties and screening tenants with RentRedi is actually easy and effective.

As a software engineer by trade, there are aspects of the UI / feature flexibility that I notice still need to mature. That being said, I've been using the product long enough to see continuous improvements, and I don't struggle to manage my properties, and support is very helpful.

**What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Listing my properties on RentRedi gets them on a lot of sites that drive plenty of high quality leads. The tenant screening feature and very thorough credit/ rental/ criminal checks helps me zero in on tenants that don't give me problems. Tenant onboarding tasks like signing leases and collecting fees/ deposits/ rent is a breeze. Tenants love the automated reminders and maintenance request portal. I feel like I am offering my tenants a high end experience, and I don't need a support staff to do it.

Its easy to use.  
Customer service is awesome.  They are quick to answer and to make sure they fully answered or shown the user how to do it.
It's great to have the maintenance view that allows the renter to view also and to request service.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

The Accounting portion requires a login and opens up in another view.  Would be nice to stay in the same RentRedi program to access the accounting.
The document upload should automatically state that there is a maximum document size.
The Dashboard shoud allow the user to resize the different widget views (like Rent) and also minimize the widget views you don't use a lot like Prequalifications and Applications.
The View All Renters should allow the user to choose whether the option Show Balance Due continually display or not per the user instead of having to choose each time the window is opened.
The Maintenance tab should allow dated updates to current maintenance requests so tenants can see progress is being made on their request.
On the Maintenance Request window, the Status column shows Labor Cost and Material Cost.  I can't tell if the Tenant can view this part or not so I am not using this since I don't want the tenant to see what I am spending.

Combining several apps I've been using into 1 portal.
Reducing the cost of the software I'm using (previous Quickbooks Online user)

I love that RentRedi has all the features I need and that there's a great team to help guide me through the details. Erentpayments became part of their system and was a huge motivator in making the switch from apartments.com. I used erentpayments in the past and I like the ability to customize late fees. This alone has paid for itself and helps offset my costs for REIHUB. The initial desire to switch came from the partnership with REIHUB for bookeeping. REIHUB is also outstanding and any questions I've had about REIHUB were able to be answered by the RentRentredi folks via chat. I'm looking to expand my portfolio and using an Excel spreadsheet wasn't cutting it. The literal paper shuffle is dizzying. Keeping receipts with transactions and being able to track everything by bank account and property keeps me organized and it's easy.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

The 3 day hold on funds can be really confusing to tenants when they've paid but the money is still in their account. 
I had a deposit initiate and it failed even after the money hit my account. This was due to the long hold period and the tenant putting through 2 payments by mistake.
Not a dislike but I would love to see receipt/ invoice OCR merged with REI HUB. To be able to scan a stack of receipts and be prompted to match them with transactions would be HUGE. It's a needle in a haystack of receipts to find a transaction or vice versa to match to. Microsoft Excel offers this in their PowerAutomate software and was a big comparison consideration. Ultimately I'm banking on comanies using more AI and more automation to incorporate this. I'll keep requesting it because I think it would be a HUGE benefit.

RentRedi is helping me do my own bookeeping in a more detailed and organized manner and it's helping me collect late fees more effectively.

Their responsiveness and eagerness to answer questions soar well above expectations.  For all accounts, this fills the software and systems gap for landlords who want to self-manage.  I fully expected the learning curve to be bumpy, bruising, and completely self-directed.  The support was refreshing and has been much appreciated.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

There is not much to dislike.  I believe they even have a referral code with some savings for you.  I am happy to look that up for you if you are considering their product.  

The price is very low with additional services available a la carte.  I suppose those whom are not prepared for that part can find it discouraging.

**What problems is RentRedi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

RentRedi has helped my tenants with services and payment options that mimic those they had with my previous property manager at a fraction of the cost annually.  Tenants enjoy some payment options at slightly lower fees.  They also can access their accounts, report and schedule maintenance, and send communications directly through an app.

There is no upside; I would not recommend it.

**What do you dislike about RentRedi?**

It does not work in Safari which is the main browser for Apple products. They do not tell you this on their website.  They want you to run Chrome.  If you have signed up for a year subscription they will not refund your money.  Customer Support does nothing to resolve issues.  This is a clear indication that their website builder is not making any effort to produce a product that work across all browsers.

There is no preview function to preview your rental listing before publishing it to the public.  This should be a basic function.

Limited functionality relative to charging different types of deposits and whether they are refundable or not.  For example, a pet deposit would be fairly standard.  You can't define acceptable pet, acceptable breeds etc.  you would have to write all of this information into the general description which isn't conducive for a clean listing that is easy for potential renter to scan for information.

The product has no benefit.

What impressed me most was that she followed up with my tenant and then sent him an email and email to me too summarizing what she had done to assist. Thank you Julia and RentRedi!
