I work in my industry researching AI trends and competitive landscape for a global community. I use ProxyWing residential proxies every day to visit tech blogs, academic papers and competitor websites IN ANOTHER COUNTRY. For instance, last month I was writing a report about the uptake of big language models in South Korea and Japan. With local IPs fro Seoul and Tokyo, I could connect to region specific forums and news sites which are usually not accessible from outside. This provided my client with authentic, on the ground knowledge which would have been impossible from global news sources. The proxies work great and it literally takes no more then a few minutes to set them up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have to assemble information into Factual Reports. The proxies are OK, but it doesn’t have the native functionality I need for managing my research sessions. I need to maintain a separate log (in spreadsheet) recording which proxy IP was used for what research task and client project. It’s a small but annoying inefficiency in my weekly process that takes up time when I have to cite sources or backtrace my trails for a client question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
