Its Modular integration is excellent to be customized according to specific needs, and automates service management and executive reporting, ideal for multi-project environments. Being Open Source, its scalability allows adjustments and expansions with lower costs compared to closed software alternatives. **What do you dislike about ]project-open[?** The learning curve for the user interface may be complex for new users due to its high customization. With respect to technical resources, it must be considered that technical knowledge is needed to perform advanced configurations or integrations, limiting its ease of implementation on teams without experienced IT personnel. And possibly its compatibility is a little more limited compared to other tools, so it may not offer direct integration with all the platforms or applications used in some work environments. **What problems is ]project-open[ solving and how is that benefiting you?** With ]project-open[ I have been able to document each phase of the projects from inception to final delivery. I have used the system to track milestones, allocate resources, and coordinate tasks. In addition, I have been able to generate periodic reports very easily to evaluate progress and costs in real time, allowing for optimization of budget and time management. ### 2. And the same applies to providers' purchase orders and bills. The searching features are also extremely powerful: almost all database objects are indexed and searchable. **What do you dislike about ]project-open[?** The GUI seems to be stuck in the last decade. Many actions require too many clicks. The admin interface is especially complicated, even for the most advanced users. There is no out-of-the-box integration with cloud file storage services, such as Dropbox or Google Drive. The interface is not responsive and there is no mobile app. Report creation could be easier. **Recommendations to others considering ]project-open[:** If you're looking for a feature-rich ERP especially designed for ITSM and project management, then you'll hardly find anything with a better quality-price ration. However, if you want something easy to setup and configure, you'd better take a look at the online demo and figure out if you want to deal with its outdated and clumsy admin interface. **What problems is ]project-open[ solving and how is that benefiting you?** We're using ]project-open[ to manage our translation company. When we first rolled up the system, almost 10 years ago, it was top-notch. Unfortunately, they decided not to focus on the translation industry anymore. All new features (and there are a lot of interesting ones) are quite useless to us.
