What do you like best about Practice Better?

Practice Better runs my entire business! I've used quite a few different software programs over the years to run my nutrition and health coaching business. I have tried names you would probably recognize including Mindbody and Vagaro among others however I found they just weren't the right fit or were lacking features.

I've been using Practice Better for over 5 years and have watched them, grow, improve, and expand. I've used every pricing tier or plan offered. I'm currently using the Plus plan.

I use it for hosting my group programs, sending coaching materials, sending protocols and recommendations, coaching and communicating with my clients individually and through group chat and email, scheduling client appointments and group coaching calls, and also billing and invoicing clients.

It allows my business to run smoothly and makes me look professional. I also appreciate that it integrates with many third-party devices that I use regularly like Fullscript, Zoom, Google Calendar, and Square just to name a few.

I like the fact that you can create custom forms and tasks that reoccur. I use these forms to help my clients build and form new habits.

I also like the fact they are always looking to improve their services, have regular training on their software as well as provide business coaching and tips to allow the user to run their business better as well as improve professionally. Their customer service is pretty great too!

I genuinely appreciate this service and have recommended it to many friends, clients, and colleagues which is why I'm taking my time to write this review. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Practice Better?

There was a time when I was considering leaving Practice Better because they had a rather awkward program hosting platform. When I tried to use it, I found my clients were confused and didn't have a good experience.

They have since fixed that and have made a few more adjustments to the software in general that allow my clients to have a better user experience.

I like when things are really intuitive not only for me to use but especially for my clients. If anything I would like to see some more developments in this area.

I also wish they had messaging templates for communicating with clients because a lot of the time especially in the onboarding process messages are quite repetitive.

What do you like best about Practice Better?

I love that I can communicate with my patients through the app. I like the forms and notes function. I like that I can send documents to my patients. There are many other functions that are very helpful for navigating through my patients information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Practice Better?

It doesn’t seem to be very iPAD user friendly. There are many things I can do on my desktop with the program, but I use my iPad when I am in my office. It’s more friendly because I can face the patient and it doesn’t look like I am spending all of my time on the computer. On the iPAd, I cannot do a split screen in order to open other documents while I am working in the patient portal. Another thing is the word processing functions on the iPad are not the same. When I try to select multiple files to charge with a patient using the iPad, it doesn’t allow me to do that. The function is there, but then when I click on the selection boxes, nothing is selected. I wish on the face page that the patient’s name, date of birth, and age were all visible. I have to toggle back and forth a lot to get this information. I have a medium level program: I want to be able to combine my notes to create a letter to send to my patient or other providers. As it is, I have to export the notes to Adobe, combine them there, and then import them back into Practice Better. Maybe there is a better way to do this, but I haven’t found it. I also want to be able to move files I have imported into PB into another part of the program or another patient, I cannot do that. I would love to be able to edit some of the forms to be more individualized for my practice. I’m sure there are many more things. I worked for many years in a hospital with EPIC, maybe I am spoiled, but I feel that there are a few more things that we could do with our programs. I would also be happy to be a consultant to work through some of these suggestion and suggestions that others might have. Thanks for having this forum and for your time.
